At this point having tested 24 stews and teas then 24 teas and stews i can safely say there is a bug or guide error

crystal saw gives 3+ bonus to construction and stacks with tea essentially a 6+ without the need of spicy stew

actually the altar only costs around 1.18m! you DO NOT need the marble burners!!! insense burners and mahogany burners do exactly the same job! the extra 700k for the marble burners is simply money spent on looks!
