Very good read as usual but he has overlooked something VERY important. Not only does the site make money from membersips, it makes ALOT of money from selling advertising space. I rescently saw an EA Games advert on one of thier pages and i know for a fact that EA pays majour amounts of money... so annually i am willing to bet they make the same amount of money as memberships through thier advertising.

WOW! that is amazing drops from the kings. Me and two friends went there at around 88 combat, killed 9 between us nd got rune every drop :wall: are you lot using wealths? and is there any hope for a mele player against DK if they hav full invent of super restores and r wearing full torags?

Hehe you can still use it now. I am doin this right now. Last night in around 25minutes i gained 44k ranged exp and in that time got my money for around 5rings AND still have about 1k knives left

Requirements You will need: 60+ range (for red or black d hide range bonus) Any other item that will give ranged bonus A hammer and pic axe Around 10k 15 Mining 22 Smithing The Plan First of all you will get your 10k and buy 3 or 4 rings of forging (i buy for 2.5k or 3k each so depends who you find). Then head off to your favourite iron mine and mine and smith into bars until you have used all of your ores into bars. Then head over to Varrok West bank. Run between the bank and the smithing house opposite and smith all of your bars into iron throwing knives. Then head off to Pest Control. Find the best world you can with quite a few high level players. While you are playing pest control put on the best ranged bonus prayer you can (I use Eagle Eye that gives me a 15% bonus and prayer is restored after each game, so same as using ranged potions but for free). Stay close to any creature you are fighting and pick up your knives after every creature you kill, and watch the portal HP in the corner and pick up your knives before the game ends. Well that just seems like basic training, right? Well you are right but you can endlessly train from your first 10k. For every game you win you will get gp. Save this all until you have no more knives left (for me it was around 60k) Then you start the whole process from the begginning except buy as many rings of forging as you can. Then smith them all. Every time you do it you will start Pest Control with at least double the amount of knives you did the time before.

heya ppl, thanks for the feedback. As one person said, you can do this much quicker if you use the dragons in heros guild. But this was aimed at pures and people that want to train mage and not make a loss. Someone else mentioned buying your own runes. I think you could quite easily break even IF you get a good price on your runes. This is easily seen if you use fire strike at Pest Control. You can easily break even if you have a combat of over 70+ while buying you runes. If you dont mind could you try it for me please and see what happens. Nd to the person who said the idea was stupid... go home!

if i was you, i'd get ur runecrafting up a hell of a lot on F2P and use that to get your mage lvl up, 100k ess at my rc lvl would be... over 285,000 shots of fire strike which is a minimum of 2.7mil exp if you hit 0 with every shot... it sounds good to me :lol:

it sounds like it can be done, in my opinion i'd use the spear all the time instead of the whip, but good luck however you want to do it. I hope you get your goal and hope you make a huge profit hehe

ok im fed up with some people doin thier dumb ideas, he wants to get lvl up quick so buy around 20k regular ess, craft all into airs, sell airs on forum for 13-15gp each and use that money to buy more ess, after 4airs per ess (lvl33) you will make a profit instead of a loss

I am sure many of you will remember my first post on the subject, and after around a month of workings out and gathering info from other players i have decided to re-post the new and improved guide. Requirements: Runecrafting 44 rune crafting (not for nats, for 5 airs per ess and 4 minds per ess) Combat Either 50+ mage with 25+ defence to wear mysic armour (for mage bonus) OR 70+ mage with 70+ defence for full ahrims (for better mage bonus) Items Fire/Lava Staff and Mage armour Games Necklace A stack of Essence / Air and mind runes. (if starting with the runes you can ignore the first few sentances of the next section) Method Start off at an essence mine and mine around 1.2k ess. Then craft that into around 4k airs and 2k minds (give or take a few runes). Then get yourself whatever mage armour you use. A common mistake here is to use dragon hide armour because it has a good mage defence but the mage attack bonus which you need is actually pretty pants. Also get yourself a games necklace. This is to tele you out of the dragons. (this is not a must, you can replace this with a mage, power or glory ammy and use tele runes, a tele tablet or just run out of the dungeon area, but any kind of tele is much quicker) Then head down to taverly dungeon blue drags. You will have 3 spaces taken up in invent (minds, airs and key to dragon area). This gives you room for 25 items, kill 13 drags, take the hides and bones of all and only the bones of the last drag (they are worth more.Sometimes, i get a good drop that is worth more than drag bones like a nature rune drop, droppen 15 at a time this can be sold for around 4.5k) Tele out to games room and head to bank under the pub opposite the games room. Final notes Drags will take 30-40 shots of fire strike each to kill, and the 4-5k from selling bones and hides will cover costs almost 3 times over. This gives you money to buy the ess you have used and quite a bit left over to: a) buy more ess and kill drags for longer next time OR B) buy yourself a little treat for being so clever Some of my testers have been 85+ mage wearing Ahrims and Seers rings with huge mage bonus'. Also boasting 60+ runecrafting. They were hitting constant 7's and 8's and managed to make around 950% profit from buying 2.5k normal ess and crafting themselves. Also because of the safe sports this is incredibly good for training pures and making money on pures, I have only had one pure try the method for me because not many pures i could find train rune crafting so if any pures read this it would be appreciated if you try it out and give me some feedback. This will be updated in a few days, leave comments and ideas to make the guide better (apart from the obvious lack of pics)

Well since i bin doin ma pure the price is firm 100gp, im unsure how much hard leather body sells for, but its not much, its a small profit... if any so i'd collect ur own hides, my pure is gettind like 400+ per hour easily

You still need the frog prince/princess outfits, i fink u mised fez hat but unsure, plus the runecrafting seems quite good to make 200mil... from 44 u can make 1mil+ per day nd if u get to 91 then a hell of a lot of money hehe

That is a valid point but pures do it all the time just to train (from safe spot), alot will collect bones and hides but some will just bury bones and collect coins and such
