Very true. All those cooking and fletching capes are fueled by macroers. Macroers have played a vital part in making the skill capes popular and an accessible goal for not only the richest people. Jagex has an interest in having a certain number of skill capes in the game to make them af visible goal to the common player. No cheap resources in the game would make it a very different game. So it's a love/hate relationship between Jagex and the bots.
It wasn't a bug :|. You paid a normal price for the items you bought. Normally there just were only 1 or so. It could easily be interpreted as a bug abuse. It is an error in the program since they changed it as fast as they found out. You took advantage of it and did not report it to jagex therefore you broke rule 4. But since posting here was pretty much the same as telling Jagex I think they are just happy to get it stopped as fast as they did. So I think you are off the hook.
They are awesome. No drops but lots of xp. But I agree with you [main post] that the tasks come in certain patterns. It's dependent on your level of course - you get a lot of the highest possible task - but I also experience long runs of certain tasks.
It's obvious to anyone that Jagex has chosen to continue the dragon armour line - despite what they said in the past. There is a clear pattern in the range of armour made from bronze to rune, and this pattern is applied to dragon as well. Therefore we will see dragon plate body and dragon kite shield. There is no doubt! Why would Jagex even consider not following their own system and benefit from the anticipation in the community. I think that the fairly many high level items released recently is a very consious decision from Jagex giving the top players something to do (and to spend money on). The many items released in a bulk also draws attention from each other. Which could be an argument for a future release of dragon plate - the plate would not be THE plate, but one out a range of top armour pieces. Just some thoughts.
My name is Kill O Troll. And I get nice feedback on it. It's my first account, and I wanted Kill O Matic (like a killer machine) but it was taken. So I went for Kill O Troll, which suits me just fine. I think of it as killer troll, but some think of it as killer of trolls. Anywho it's cool with me. Peace!
FINALLY! Last time I got that clue, it still had the old map on it, even though the location had already been updated ingame. Confused the heck out of me for a minute as I thought I had inadvertently missed the goblin settlement and discovered some new sooper-sikrit place instead :-w Omg, I'm such a fool! Thx guys.
I'm not saying that it's likely to happen. I didn't post the idea of black metal dragons (although I like the name) in the first place. I just state that black bars not existing in the game does not mean that they never will. It's just a matter of decision making in the Jagex team and they don't seem to be restrained by the logic of their own game. The odd thing is really what black stuff is doing in the game. I never understood it. I guess it's just a bit of fancy dressing for F2P.
or black metal dragon? black metal dragons are not possible for the simple reason that all metal dragons drop their metal bars. and black bars dont exist Sorry to question your logic, but alot of things don't exist untill they suddenly appear after an update. So I'd say anything is possible. Since black armor exists black bars do not sound far out to me.
The way I understand the original post is that the abyssal demon doesn't look very scary. And i totally agree. I haven't killed one since I'm 80 slayer, but I too thought the mighty abyssal demon to be much more dangerously looking. Something along the line of Black Demons. They are big after all. Abyssal demons look like something you would step on.
