Well today was my first official day at Nottingham Trent Uni. It didn't go well. First off I woke up today feeling horrid, I still do now, even though I did not drink at all yesterday. My head is throbbing, I cannot look left/right without moving my head as it kills my eyes, and I've felt fairly queezy all day. Alas, I still had to travel the 10 mile, 45 min bus ride up to my campus to buy a bus pass to save me a few hundred pounds over the year. Unfortunately, after queuing for nearly half an hour there, they said they don't accept cash. So I got back on the bus, travelled back into the city centre and had to queue for around an hour and a half at the city travel shop which accepts cash. The queue was out of the door, and went for about 20m along the street. After that, I finally walked back to my flag with my bus pass, only to open my laptop and see that my first lecture had already started. For some reason I thought it started an hour later than it actually did. So I sprinted down to the bus stop to get on yet another bus, 45 mins later finally get to the uni, halfway through the lecture. Luckily it was only introductory material so I can get away with missing it. Well I'm finally back at my flat, feeling just as bad as this morning, so I'm planning an early night in, probably go to bed around 10 ish and watch some peep show.

That basically. Murderers can sometimes cover their tracks incredibly well, and especially in those times in wasn't uncommon for murders to go unsolved.

Well the majority of the time, people with high post count won't want their accounts banned, so will not post bad links. And the opposite for lower post counts, their accounts are more 'dispensable' so have no problem with posting bad links.

If there is any more argument about what is right and wrong here, there will be warnings handed out. This is for discussing words being censored, and if the community can use the correctly. Unfortunately, even though the terms used in the right context are perfectly acceptable, they can easily be thrown out of context and can be used as insults. They aren't censored here, but often when posts are done in that way, they will need removing, even though the words themselves are not censored. Luckily, the community here is more mature (most of the time) than in Runescape, so the rules are slightly more relaxed.

'These glass-eating people (as some forumers call them)' :) I wasn't a big fan of the first article, mainly because i've heard most of it before (Except the history parts) The second was good, although i think it was a bit too brief with the overviews of each area.

I don't quite get it. Am I missing something, or am I supposed to have watched some tv program it's based on?

I just hope they do it well.

Today is my night in and day off (finally!) I've done barely anything stressful today. My parents have come up to Notts to see a concert, so they took me out for a meal, and my god was it good! I felt like being sick after because I had eaten so much, and for just under £7! 'Big plate special' with roast chicken, so lovely. Two large Yorkshire's, stuffing, 2 chicken breasts, peas, carrots, roasts, cauliflower and broccoli all topped off with some gorgeous gravy. I don't think I'll be eating for the next 3 days :thumbsup: I don't have many plans for the rest of the day. I might watch the last two series of Peep show, but after that I'm stuck for what to do on my night in (could play RS I suppose). Still need to do some washing and sort all my bedding out, but that can wait until later I suppose, or I could just leave the washing until tomorrow :) . I feel like just being lazy today!

I think alot of quests just depend on when you do them and what gear you have available. I did desert treasure shortly after its release, and had only rune armour with a recently released dds and d long. A the time, the sharks I had to use took a massive chunk of money out of my bank so to me the quest seemed incredibly hard. But if I was to do it again now, it would be a walk over. Quests usually feel harder when you don't know what to expect when you walk through the next door, so usually you are in the wrong gear and end up taking lots of damage.

Jagex have said numerous times they would not introduce mounts. They would not work with Rs, the game play is to square driven and slow for mounts to work.

What are your stats, that would make it much easier to give advice.

Well I got home at around 5am today, wasn't a bad night. Didn't get very drunk, but wasn't overly sober either. Tonight is the last official night of freshers, so I plan on having ALOT of fun. Still not overly sure on my plans, will probably end up in the SU bar, but still, it isn't a bad club. Still got 2 pizzas left in the freezer, they are delicious. Meat feasts, and they cook really well. Probably have one of them later. Bit of a boring day planned for today, but I'm in a lazy mood so can't really be bothered to do much.

After viewing the RSOF, wanting to see the views on the removal of the new high level potions on PVP, I came across somebody saying this: 'Do you like the idea of Future High Level content rewarding the Player, rather than the wealthy? ' This basically means, should new content, be buy able, or need high skills to use. The majority of the answers to that have been yes, the player should get more rewards than the wealthy. Meaning having high skills should be worth just as much, and give just as much of an advantage in the game as GP does. Currently, this is barely happening, apart from things like quest rewards, such as ancients, or RFD gloves, most skills only give you an advantage in the sense you can use something after buying it. Now i know a lot of skills actually take money to raise, which imbalances the question in part, but if skills actually gave an advantage, i would estimate that alot of skills which are currently money pits, would in some ways become profitable. So basically, I'm ask you guys as the Tip.It community, Do you like the idea of Future High Level content rewarding the Player, rather than the wealthy?

Could not agree more. To win you actually have to put some effort into training, so what if somebody else has the herb levels, they put the effort in to do it. It's much like the difference between somebody have a whip and an AGS in pvp, I agree fully. ] *tries not to flame to keep modness* The extra levels gained from these potions are no more than the extra benefits of doing desert treasure quest for ancients, or money making for a few days to get your first whip. Should those things also be disabled from PVP? If its all about things taking time to get, being disabled from pvp, no items whatsoever should be allowed. Its absurd to think that just because you can't be arsed to work for something in a MMO, nobody should be able to. If you want to keep that attitude through life where any work to achieve things is to hard, so nobody else is allowed to do it, you are going to get one hell of a hit when you enter the real world yourself.

Does that GS bought from making money through RC aid to combat? Does the whip gained through slayer aid in combat? Everything aids in combat now days, but it should not be removed just because it helps combat. The whole point in having a rounded account is that it has an advantage over those who don't bother to train, simple. Annoys me so much that just because people have to step outside of pvp to get an advantage in it, it should be removed.

Greater demons also seem to drp them fairly often. But as said above, slayer is a great way to get them.

Seriously. I mean, check out those huge [wagon] craters. Reminds me of the LHC. NASA know what they're doing. Exactly. This 'bombing' would have to be immense to have any noticeable effect. The positives greatly outweigh the negatives. If they found water, it would mean a massive step towards colonising the moon, and to the next leap, to mars.

I think this makes a mockery of what the Nobel peace prize started off as, and is now political rather than something earned by achievement. I don't get how you can win the Nobel peace prize, when you run a country that is involved in two wars?

I think Master smither could have gone on almost forever explaining bugs in that article, it's hard to choose which ones to actually write about. The second article is good, people always gloat and try to be above others even when the others have just achieved something.

People. Even though you may not talk to many of them, without random people walking around, this game would be so lifeless and boring.

Last night was a good night. I got paid yesterday, so actually had the money to have fun. Went to Gatecrasher, about 2am went to the toilet, came back out and everybody i knew had vanished. Looked at my phone and i was out of credit! So i just left and walked home, couldn't be bothered finding people. A few of my flatmates were already back at the flat, was in the kitchen until around 3.30am just talking, wasn't a bad night. My plans for the rest of today are : Get some milk Get some ready meals for lunch Go to the bank to get some money out Get some drinks Keep up the Fresher week streak with night #8 Wish me luck :)
