Because of the large demand of them. Back then, when I played, you could sell 1k nats for 300k and you would almost instantly get an alcher whos interested. But anyway, I was shocked to see nats 250 each...I remember nats always being 300 ea, maybe rising up ten or twenty gold at times, but 250? Holy cabbage! At those who hate RC because its a huge money maker: NEWSFLASH. Get 44/54 RC then. but nowdays with 50gp+ more profit per rune and the g.e making selling easier, it baffles me why so many people stick to natures, it seems plain ignorant to me. I always trained on the highest rune available to me, laws brought me much more money than nats and quicker leveleing, and deaths to the same effect now.

I've never actually known why people craft nats over other things when under 91 rc and over 54, it just seems illogical, all the other runes are more money and exp

Runescape to me seems more of a casual gamers game, and WoW more a hardcore gamers game, which is why im a runescape fan.

virgin is a phone company. I was going to say post on the billing help forum on RSOF' but then remembered your now F2P and can't post, but i would say looking to see if anybody else has the problem would be a good idea. Only other thing i would say is do you have any signal on your phone? maybe the message can't get through, if not just wait a day maybe?

To me it all sounds fine (if the forum was 2000 me's browsing they'd have a whale of a time reading this) but yeh i tried to clear up my intentions in the first line now,its meant to get people thinking and not taken in too much seriousness.

Somewere it was suggested to have a seperate 'lookup' which didn't sa your rank but had everybodies skills at whatever level on, and then have a top 30k highscore which obviously shows rank etc as a real highscore, because most people i know use highscores as a lookup more than a score.

They are tradeable, and they arent hard to make, buy feathers from g.e, buy broad bolt heads from slayer master for 59gp each and attatch, 63gp for addy strength bolts that can be used on any onster including turoths and kurasks.

I doub prices will crash, i think some will go up when people like them, some will go down, buy only marginally, nothing major.

Quality updates? Yeah, the new graphical update seems better than what they usually give us, but it (and all new releases) is still in dire need of a proper quality control. Every single update they have done since the start of Runescape has been filled with bugs, some serious, some more of a minor scale. They haven't even bothered fixing old ones that have been reported for a very long time. They shouldn't be so concerned about quantity (an update every week), more on quality (everything works 100% prior to release). Rushing something and forgetting to check it for errors will just make the company look sloppy and unprofessional in the eyes of the end-user. Heh, now I'm just ranting. :lol: As for the fog... Well, it's definitely a progress. It could be made better, like variable distance fading, but for now, it's pretty damn good as it is. :) <100 people can't find the bugs that a million can.

Before more of you go on ranting about how i seem to be telling you what to do, that was not the intention, my intention is to get you tinking outside the box, and what effect you actually playing is having on the game. By WE i mean players who've attained all their main goals, played the game for 2-3+ years and pretty much have experiencd all runescape has to offer. The way runescape works (or is supposed to) is that there are supposed to be numerous lower leveled players, and less high leveled players, this can be thought of as a traingle shape, with hiagher playrs at the point at the top, and lower level players at the bottom making up the majority of runescape players. This 'should' move in a cycle to keep it working. Many people join the game and keep the supply of items high, some quit while leveling up, some attain the high levels and then once there get bored and quit. This 'should' keep moving, more people join more people quit in the same ratio, however, its not working that way. In the begining of runescape untill around its peak imo late 06', this was all well and true, the lower levels outnumbered the higher levels dramatically. This helped the economy by keeping lower leveled items and raw materials low thus making secondaries and secondary skills profitable for having the higher levels. However, nowdays people like me and you, aren't quitting, people have stuck around, yes many have quit but not as many as should be, because we like the game so much, we are in a way killing it, by not leaving for others to take our place, and keep the cycle going. In the begining there were less higher levels than lower, now i fear we are verging on a time when the amount of lower level players is about the same as those higher level players, meaning less resources and items to go around, and making secondary skills no profit at all. This also co-incides with i think a lack of new people coming to runescape, as i have said, i think the peak was around 06', now im not saying rs is dying, but i think it is on a slippery road if we don't get new lower level players, and get rid of some of those more experienced ones. Now next time you log in and want to buy raw materials, think 'do i actually need this' because you may be depriving the economy of an item and slowing the cycle further. P.S. Those who know my posts will know i type too quick and spell things wrong, if you see them i'll change them.

Wan't there a BTS or Dev diary a short while ago stating they were re-working randoms because they are obsolete now?

I use the high detail version because it runs fine, but i will rarely use the fullscreen as it goes against rhe reason i chose rs over other mmo's, multitasking. I like to be able to be on msn, irc etc while on runescape, with fullscreen you can't so its a no no for me, but high detail is fine.
