I brought this up when summoning was first released, and i'll use my example to explain. I tried ranging black demons in the chaos tunnels with an evil turnip. It has the ability to do ranged attacks and has a special that attacks with range. I would stand in a safespot with the summon summoned, but as i wasn't under attack directly it would stand next to me not doing anything. If i tried the special the specail would activate but it would not get into combat with the demon. If i let the demon hit me then go into a safespot, the turnip would stay in combat for 2-3 seconds then walk back to me in the safespot. I believe the games currently coded to only have familiars attack an emey if its attacking you, in any other situation it will not attack. Now this seems stupid to me, why not code it to attack anybody that you attack, not who atacks you. this would mean you could use a familiar while ranging/maging from a safespot.

Wow 53? sure your using the right summon? just walk infront of the beast with the summon out as it targets them, then wal 2 steps to the other side of the disc, wait for the beast to be 1 foot on it then dismiss the familiar.

I think there must be something hidden in those caves, there something suspocious about their size and the soft soil in there.

You have the range req' for dhide/karils so scoring in cw would be possible but at your tats defending wouldn't be too easy. Pest control is easy at any level in the right boat BH you might stand a chance as im sure the mid crater JUST allows you in Pits you wouldn't stand a chance because its usually 120+'s in their best armours.

I've got a couple of points on this. 1. Runescape can't be compared to most MMORPG's, for one even jagex don't call it an MMORPG. But in reality, runescape isn't like any other MMO out there, when you think of an MMO you think some korean badly translated game where you kill thousands of x monster to level up, move onto y monster kill it thousands of times to level up, move onto z monster etc etc etc. You get the occasional game thats 'slightly' different like WoW but the majority are the same. You get quotes like 'z game, like xMMO but better' whereas with runescape there is nothing else like it, its a niche in the market which is why its become so popular, it has things for hardcore gamers and casual gamers at the same time, and caters very well for both, wheras most other MMO's are just for hardcore gamers who will play 5 hours a day. 2. Runescape has less action than alot of other games, its more skill based nowdays than 90% fighting based of other games, the kind of gamers that 'crave' those korean mmo's get too bored by runescape (good i dont want them around here) 3. The MMO community is totally RUBBISH, compare it to another genre's community, i.e the FPS community and from what ive seen its not even on the same playingfield.

Only task im blocking are hellhounds. Any other task i'll skip depending on what i feel like at the time, but alot of the ones listed above have their purposes for me. W-T-birds: Killer exp if done right W-Tortoises: I'll use the shells Scarabas: Killer exp when done right Steels/irons: irons are simple to melee and easy task, steels great mage exp when i want it. Black demons: Great exp when i can be bothered to do them Kalphites: Yet again great exp

I don't take runescape as serious as some, i don't go by the assumption that Everything is money, time is money bull, i'd rather have fun getting an item and exp than make enough money to buy the item but be bored out of my brain for ages, its a game, for fun. Edit: Can perfect shells be used?

I'm not willing to spend 4-5kgp for each pouch when i'l rarely use them, the only time i will use them is for the odd slayer task, which is why i just want to get myself 10-20, i guess ill be going to warped

but which are quicker for the shells, warped or the ones in the gnome stronghold?

Whats the quickest way of getting these? i'm not prepared to spend 5k on them in the g.e so i need the fastest way of getting them. And also how fast would that method get them?

First ever shield half drop: (not expensive but got to be one of rs's rarest drops) However, am i the only one noticing that its not the left half, its the top half now?:

Dmace and maybe a d baxe (if it has the att styles for you) work well, if you use a zam book/sara book with them, you get the added prayer bonus and magic def/crush att bonus.

Still waiting on a SubGreen style ;)
