Ok, problem started when the icons on my desktop appeared smaller than normal and made everything else appear small, like runescape, which just bothered me. I grouped all the icons and thought that if I changed the graphics options (I'm pretty sure that's what I changed) it would help it. That's when the whole screen went black and I can't figure out how to put it back to normal since it's like I'm doing it in the dark. I remember I changed the graphics options to Monitor. By the way, my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite.

Alright, now it looks like I have hope. Only thing that is making me wonder is when you get to the rounds with the 360 and 90, would you be taking the 90 without prayer? It seems like I could probably do that, with steel skin on to boost up my 78 defence.

Bah, I just bought my freakin pots for the fight caves yesterday and I was gonna do it today :x . I guess I'll do barrows or somethin until muggi uploads the videos without luring; I never learned that method, mainly becaue I started my attempts 3 ago. Also, in the "in other news" section, they said that stats will restore like normal if you have an interface open like a skill screen. Does anyone know if prayer will still drain if you do the same thing?

I have an uncanny ability of balance :shock: . It's mostly on my hands though, I can hold a hand stand for over 2 minutes :) . Also, I did about 2 years of gymnastics back when I was 8 years old (inspired by Sydney olympics that year) and I learned to jump off of the ground and do a front flip. I can only do it on grass, I haven't tested it on solid concrete, I'm afraid to break my head.

Have they implemented the roll back yet? Cause if so, I'd still be in the caves, but I'm at the bank and I don't have those potions I lost

Oh this really sucks for me, I was in the fight caves fighting one of the 360's and I'll probably get one-hitted when i log back in :( . I was able to get onto the runescape forums, some people are making conspiracies that North Korea bombed Jagex? Wtf is up with that? Edit: Bah, just lost 500k because of Jagex due to Fight caves supplies... I hope to God they do a rollback

This year at our school, we were able to take the foreign language classes, out of 4 classes. I took German and noticed that it has a lot of things that I think are kind of meticulous (sp?). I noticed that English doesn't really have these and wondered if this language is a little bit spoiled. 1.Verb conjugations 2. Noun genders 3.No definite way of making a noun plural 4.Accusitive and Dative cases (Dative is kind of tough for me to figure out) Those are all that I can think of right now, there are probably other reasons from other languages that I dont speak. So if you were given the choice, would you take English over any other language?

Hi, I've just recently had the idea that I want to go to the kalphite queen a few times. Unfortunately, I haven't been trained in it at all, besides reading a bunch of guides, so I will need a mentor. That's where you come in, I'd like someone to teach me the in's and out's of her. Recently, I had to send in my Xbox to be fixed and I got it back yesterday. I tried to reconnect to Xbox Live using my wireless adapter that I have, but it said I needed to apply an update. It started updating but then about halfway through it failed for some reason. According to the person I called at the help center there was a big update that everyone was trying to download and it was overloading the server and I should either wait it out for a week, or bring it downstairs to try to connect directly. Apparently, I must have unplugged something I shouldn't have and now my Xbox can't connect to the Wireless network at all. I think I need to put in the WEP key and DNS but I have no idea where to find these. Can anyone help me? or should I just call geek squad again? PS: If it helps, my dad's laptop can still connect to the wireless network, is it possible it has the settings I need?

One that I encountered the other day is when they lure you on to the german server for like a drop party. They say, "Party is being moved to white wolf mountain! I will tele you all there!". He puts up a tele for the people around him and instead of white wolf mountain, it's the ice plateau, he's using lunar magics of course. I suggest you never trade on the german servers unless you speak it, or understand exactly where you're going. White wolf mountain = Weisser Wolfberg (the ss = the large B looking letter, dont have it on my keyboard) and Ice plateau is Eishochebene. Look for either EIS for ice plateau, and Weisser for white. It should be pretty easy to remember. I'm still happy I take german in school, otherwise i wouldn't have recognized it and lost my full guthans :ohnoes:

Try searching for a little program on the internet called Jamorama,t it costs about 20-30 bucks, can't remember. I've been using it for about 3 months since the begining of January, it teaches you chords and notes which may not seem like fun right now, but it's worth it to learn it now. It's got videos of the actual chords, and these little things called jam tracks that you get to play what you learned (omg). I had the exact same feeling that you have probably right now before Jamorama. My tone, picking, learning ability weren't getting anywhere. I could only play extremely simple riffs like the one from Mutter and Hypnotize. It's a two part series, one for beginners and the other for intermediates, I'm finishing up the second one right now. After that, I guess you should be able to play kind of what you want. PS: try searching for lessons on http://www.ultimate-guitar.com , that place has almost everything

I'd LOVE to live in Germany. So far, I've only heard good things about it, except for maybe it's taxes (50% :ohnoes: , my teacher couldn't remember if it was Denmark or Germany). Third best economy in the world, very nice school system, and I think the culture is great. Essentially, you could call it the capitol of Europe, but all this I've heard from my German teacher so it could all be biased :shame: ...

Personally, I do speak German, although I'm only in my first year, I like the German servers. I don't think they they should outlaw English in the two servers, because Germans use English too. I think it would be up to them to use enough German that the English players don't understand a word of it and leave. And although I wish they hadn't made the choice that anything you gain there won't be transfered in a few weeks, it was a good move to keep English players out. Lol last night I was standing in Varrok and I heard a guy scream out, " Es gibt ein Fliegenkuh in der Flughafen!!!" (There's a flying cow in the airport) or something to the effect of that

So Ive always wanted to do dagonoth kings, but it seems people dont accept people under 100 unless they're a pure. Well, I'm level 90 with these stats: Hitpoints: 75 Strength:70 Attack:75 Defence:70 Prayer:57 Range:70 Mage:73 Anyways, I was wondering whats the best way to get to level 100 or more so I can start dking. I dont want to do pc so dont suggest that, it makes me feel weird cause I cant really see that xp is coming in. I was thinking about slayer to help me. Please help

Anyways it doesnt look like there are too many german players, only around 200 players on the german servers for free and members right now. As I said, German is the stock market language of Europe. And to those who said Germans don't know English, they're required to learn it by age 10 in school. So you think they would know english to play this game =P~

Man I wish I could be on one of those servers right now.. First of all, Dutch is a dialect of German, so they can understand each other pretty easily (just like American english and UK english). German is the trade language for the stock market of Europe, so it would make sense to put the game in German first. Also, I'd assume that most German players already knew English because they have to learn it by age 10, with a bill up that might make it so that they know it by age 7. So essentially, it wouldn't ruin the economy or community or anything because they should know English already. I can see the logic in this move by making the game into German. Off topic: German is a simpler language than English is. It's just that people speaking english can have a tough time learning the new rules of that language. For example: Spielst du Gitarre nicht gern? (Do you not like playing guitar?) only has 5 words, but the English kind of stretches it out just a little bit. There are better examples than that, but that's an example.

I've played twice at my friends house before. Truth be told, I was scared out of my mind to play the first time. I only shot like half of the hopper's worth, when all my friends did 2, maybe 2 1/2 hoppers worth. One of the friends had an automatic gun, which just sounds menacing lol. The other one had a tippman 98 that was made to look like an M16, I didn't go anywhere near him either lol. But when everyone was walking towards their bunkers and whatnot, my team-mates started shooting randomly at me, like just to the side of me. They said it was to "Toughen me up" :roll:

The situation I'm talking about can be applied to any intelligent animal, such as ourselves. Pigs are one of the smartest animals in the animal kingdom, pretty close to dolphins I think. And who's to say that they couldn't rule without opposable thumbs, or evolve thumbs just like we did? But anyways I'm getting off subject, the point is that they'd be in the exact same position... If we let them go free, they *might* be able to organize a civilization, make schools, have division of labor like early humans did. Mabye even goth pigs, redneck pigs, and prep pigs, and then the PETA activist pigs... lol pig schools, seems a little weird I know

That video is about how hippocritic they are, its by Penn and Teller and its pretty funny Lets see.. they kill 2/3 of the animals they bring in.. They support a convicted arson offender in the rights of animals... That arson offender is on tape teaching kids to make molotov cocktails... Their own vice president is a Diabetic type A and she uses Insulin, which was derived from DOGS.. They just cant escape all this irony I think everyone treats animals pretty humanely, but what they're trying to do is just... just agains human nature.. Humans right now are pretty much the dominant species on this earth, so the most numerous and intelligent of the animal kingdom rules.. Lets say that pigs ruled the earth. I have no doubt in my mind that there would be pig cities and treating us humans the way we treat pigs.. And surely there would be the pig PETA, lol.. We are animals, we dont think of ourselves as so, but we are and if any other intelligent animal had rule of the earth, they'd be in the exact same position

I think Proactiv only works for certain people, but I dont know why. My sister used to use it but it would only make her break-out so it obviously wasnt good for her. But one time I had let my acne do what it wanted for a month or so, then started using proactiv, and it made a really noticable difference for me in 3 days. I think it all just depends on what your skin "likes". Oh and for some reason proactiv makes my skin itch and burn, its really hard to ignore it. So... I guess just use something cheap like Clearasil, or put toothpaste on your pimples.. I've seen it on a show and wasnt sure if it worked, buy my sister tried it and she said it worked.....

Man thats crazy, i cant believe Arizona of all places got snow. Over in Virginia we didnt really get "snow", just a butt load of sleet. Like it sleeted for probably 7 hours straight. So far VA hasnt gotten any snow at all this year, which is well below normal.. I hope it just fixes itself PS: My science teacher told us there was a break in the jet stream or whatever, I bet thats why you got snow
