  3. Oh, my bad. I always thought it was for both type of rants. As I was quite sure I've seen some non-runescape related rants there in the past. Still off topic though.
  4. Tsk, tsk. We're getting off topic people. Besides, this should be in the rants forum. :')
  5. Two for the Money Man, I wasn't expecting much from this. But I certainly didn't expect this kind of pgraphy (what the hell, you can't say that word with normal spelling anymore? You can look it up in any freaking dictionary!). This was HORRIBLE. And the certain type of audience that's literally pleasuring theirselves (what the hell is up with this censor, it's getting worse by the day!) over these kind of movies are going to give me nightmares. That's for sure. I'm too scared to go to sleep.
  6. Well, you're opinion just doesn't really matter on this. Because it's a mini-series. Not a movie. :?
  7. Not going to say what view is 'right' or 'wrong'. But what do you expect these people to say when you say your view? That they suddendly agree? I don't see what's wrong with them telling you that they don't agree with you.
  8. He is very good. And deff. one of the most importnat rappers in history. And together with some others he "rules the rap history".
  9. Fanny och Alexander I am blown away. This is so amazing. It's like, going beyond the powers of a normal movie. I'm not going to give away anything. Just fully see this for yourself. I couldn't bring the five hour long experience into words. Just go see it. It's for everybody. If you like comedy: see it. Like fantasy? Go see it. Like drama? Go see it. Like art-film in general? Go see it. Like horror? Go see it. I'm serious, if you got a few dollars or pounds left. Buy it, you will not regret it. I'm literally begging you people to see this! Criterion 5-disc box which is the best release. As it incluces the 5 hour tv verison, the 3 hour cinema version, some great extras and an almost 2 hour making of. The price on that website is in Canadian pounds btw. Artificial eye five hour version only. Oh, BTW. I'm happy. I got an invitation to participate in this years film by the sea festival's movie trivia. And I got an invitation by previous years winners. :D Of course we're going for the fun in the first place. But I'm hoping for the same class price they had last year; every memeber of the winning team gets a pass so that they can vissit the cinema for free a year long, and take somebody with them for free as well. ^.^
  10. It has got everything to do with foundation. As you said music needs a foundation, and you mean that this foundation can only be expressed by lyrics. And this foundation comes before the music. Which means, in your logic, that music without lyrics is inferior to music with lyrics. And that is complete nonsense of course. Anesthesia never claimed that no Christian musician has talent. He claimed that most Christian musicians are talentless. Maybe you should try and read a little bit closer instead of trying so hard to make me look like a fool. Also, I never said Christian music is bad, I even said music with lyrics, and thus by your logic a music with a foundation, isn't bad or less good than the music that, in your eyes, hasn't got a foundation. So I don't really see why you're starting about personal problems? As previously stated: I don't think I gave an opinion about Christian music. So I don't really know what I should put back in the closet. But I guess it's an easy way out for you. P.S. You're being a rude *******. Asking me to explain and give examples, and then ridiculing me. Show some respect.
  11. Well, you kind of did say that. "So if a monkey was musically talented you would listen to it? My point is if there isn't something behind the music all it is is music." If something evokes an emotion it does mean something. Not only to me, but also to you and every other human being on this planet. Because an emotion is something. It is different to everybody (the evoked emotion of course), and it might even require some imagination or abstract thinking. These songs (the special ones) without lyrics don't give a cheap 'feeling' or an energy boost like "Keep going on, don't give up". It's about creating an atmosphere that's giving a long-lasting and intense experience. And that my friend, can't be beaten by pre-chewed lyrics that got spit out back into a song. Because in this way the music is in it's purest form, it hasn't been affected by other's opinions or experiences which are found in lyrics. Be it about God, death or love. Which of course doesn't mean that music with lyrics is bad, or less good. Fat hobbit, you're an idiot. Not because your post, because I didn't even bother to read that after the first few lines. But because it hasn't got ANYTHING to do with this topic and will only result in a way too off topic discussion which will get this topic locked. I'm not saying Xpls and I are on-topic, but atleast it's slightly related and will most likely result in something positive.

    real life?

Yea, it's less embarassing the morning after. :P
  13. No, it's just a now playing topic which is at every music forum you vissit? There's nothing weird about it. NP: Deep Purple - Child in time
  14. Example please? A lot of Floyd's instrumental music (The Great Gig in the Sky being the best example), Sigur Ros' hopelandic songs, Joe Satriani, a lot of movie scores. Those are just a few.
  15. Why not? What's wrong with something being purely music? You're saying music without lyrics doesn't have the power to losen certain emotions? That's crap.

  17. I do so much nice things. I'm such a nice guy. But the latest nice thing was yesterday night. A man came to us, he was slightly handicaped. I know I shouldn't feel sorry for handicaped people, as they are normal people too, but it just happened, as he was really nice. And he ordered a DVD. I ordered it, and later when he was gone I saw that I couldn't order DVD's anymore due to a change of systems. So I couldn't order it anymore, but the man was gone. I called to another shop of ours in town to ask if they still had, so that they could help the man if he came to the store (because he visits quite regularly). And they had it. But I wasn't sure weither he would vissit them because he was going on vacation in two days. So I closed the shop at 9. Biked home, and suddendly I saw the man at the bus stop. So I rode to the bus stop and told the man that I couldn't order it anymore, but that they had it in the other shop and that I asked if they could hold it back for him. And he was very happy, because he wanted the DVD so bad and it was pretty hard to get. ^.^ And I made coffee for my mum this morning. :P
  18. NickBmxGuy is the ugliest guy ever given birth to. How2PK on the other hand.
  19. Ah, that way. :P I wish I could, but it's only for the place I work, the 20% discount. :P
  20. E-mail them, or give them a phone-call (that works faster) but I don't know if they have a customer service on phone. Matt: These are all dutchies. Though some of them (the special editions) have the same features as the UK and r1 relases. But it's different, a lot in my collection is r2uk as well.
