  1. I got an old discman to play my CD's on when I'm going somewhere. Reason: I can just pick up a couple of cd's, instead of constantly changing the music on the MP3 player. And I spend too much money on other things that have got my interest to buy an MP3 player with a big amount of space.
  2. I'll write something tonight, just to do you a favor, MPC. :P
  3. Brick Wow. Best movie of the year. No discussion possible. I mean, like GO SEE IT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Who could of though of such a weird genre combination: film noir combined with highschool. From minute one, till the very last minute you're in CONSTANT suspense, sometimes, there's a little bit of humor, but overall it doesn't excist in the movie. A supurb use of this minimalistic music, great acting, and well, style and atmosphere are dripping off. AMAZING! If you can still catch it in cinema DO IT. Skip little man, you will NOT regret it! It's out on DVD as well. And I highly sugest Bubsa and Indyfan to see it. ^.^ 9/10 I mean, how cool is it to have high-school students saying these typical noir lines. "So what first, tip the bulls?" "No. Bulls would gum it. They'd flash their dusty standards at the wide-eyes, probably find some yegg to pin, probably even the right one. But they'd trample the real tracks and scare the real players back into their holes. If we're doing this, I want the whole story. No cops, not for a bit."
  4. I don't know the rules exactly. But I always thought of as two months no reply, then it's getting too old to bump. So I thought I'd put that in, most topics which are older and get bumped then get locked as well..Atleast, I always got that impression (not specifically on the M&M forum) Yea, there are good topics, but there are more bad topics than good topics. And this is mainly about givin some interest in what you open a topic for. Make a little bit of effort.
  5. She looks so cute and happy. I don't see why people wouldn't like her. :o
  6. hehe, Daan is pretty cool. Swedish Designer Drugs <3
  7. Well, it̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôs not that we don̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôt like you or something. It̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôs just that we̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôre having thousands of these topics without any information. You can̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôt expect everybody to know your favorite band. So information is always necessary.
  8. To the gutter I tell you, matey!
  9. /me reaches out to the bottle Life sucks. :( Going to see Brick tonight in cinema though. ^.^
  10. Or make a decent topic about it. I for one have never heard of "The Beautiful Girls". /me cries.
  11. I just saw the first half hour of the first firefly episode. I'm totally diggin it already. :P Like, the entire atmosphere, sci-fi combined with western. Kaylee is hot! :o
  12. Come on man, one topic is enough.
  13. From my grandma I got: + Serenity 2-disc
  14. Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid Sam Peckinpah is my new hero. What an amazing movie again. So much beauty, yet no time from any compising. Each scene has got so much to offer that reviewing this movie is near impossible, you just have to talk about it face to face, while seeing fragments of the movie.
  15. the beatles thing wasn't really what I was looking for. So I returned it for: Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid 2-disc S.E. Dog Day Afternoon 2-disc S.E. And because it was my brithday (20 years old, yay) my brother gave me: And my parents gave me: yay! :)
  16. Yea, maybe I'm naive. But I just wanted to try it once more, as I think it is important. Dusqi had a pretty good idea of the mods like, checking topics before they get posted. It shouldn't be much work, as there aren't that much topics opened a day...Don't know if it is possible though. And of course we aren't the ones going over such decisions.
  17. So just because it is the internet we can't make this a good forum? I don't get that. I'm not lazy, and there are a a lot of others on this forum who aren't lazy either, writing three page long replies about the existance of God. When the forum opened everybody had the idea of making this a good forum, even the younger users. But nothing has become of it. And I want that to change.
  18. We all started this forum, with the idea of making this a top-class forum. One that would do justice to the arts. But after more than a year this forum has become nothing more than a fast-food place, providing junk, we had the thought of opening a five star restaurant, but it has become nothing more than a fast-food place. With no attention being paid to quality, in content and looks. Instead it we are having short topics, with a low quality rate, providing short satisfaction and discussion, so we can open a new crap topic about the same subject a week later. I want this to change, and I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m begging you people to read trough this topic, give your opinions on it, and make the forum change again. Because we need everybody make this forum shine like we wanted it to shine. For some (read 9 out of 10) users on this forum it seems to be very hard to open a decent topic. Especially when it comes down to (new) bands and (new) movies; we̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re having one line OP̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s, they don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t give any information, and most of the time involve nothing more than ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅJust leave a message behind̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  19. I don't really see how it is under-rated then..But that could be me of course. Sure, it didn't have much succes when it orignally came out in '94, but it got what it deserved when it was later released on VHS and DVD.
  20. You forgot to feed it too!? Yea, I forgot. For those who don't get your joke: the lust for playing game died, so I stopped.
  21. I'm a fast eater. Most of the time somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes. However I did eat a 500 gram pizza in less than 5 minutes.
  22. I used to play it a couple of years ago. But it died..
  23. I dreamed that the postman came and delivered two DVD's. But when I opened the packages, there were little model cars in it. I was scammed.
  24. Lo Sceicco bianco (The White Sheik) Fellini's second movie. It's not very great or something. It basically is a foundation for his later movies, especially the auto-biographical 8̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâý. But a lot easier and less interesting. It's more fun and accesable. Too bad we don't really get close or sucked into the characters, I mean, we do. But it's more in a Benigni kind of way, you 'care' about them for cuteness and it doesn't last long after the movie. While there isn't much reason to stay so distanced from them. Still the movie has got a few nice scenes and shots, making it worthwile. A recommendation for the Fellini fans, and perhaps those who want to start watching his movies. 6.5/10
  25. I was eating candy, and suddendly, out of nothing TWO teeth fell out.
