  1. Matchbook Romance, that sounds like something that could've been from the 50's. Anyway, M&M + Lock?
  2. I should see it soon, maybe tonight. It does look a bit alternative just for the sake of it. But hey, we'll soon find out.
  3. Tokyo Monogatari - There are not so many things that are better than a night wiht Ozu. Amazing. MUST SEE! 9/10 The Killing - Third feature length movie by Stanley Kubrick, had the chance to see it in cinema, so I took a train and traveled 50 minutes all alone to see it! And it was worth it! Damn good 'perfect-crime' story, about a bunch of guys going to rob the race track. Pretty ingenious, and again typical Kubrick, not as defining with the camera (though you can deff. see some influence on his later movies) but this time trough narration, it manages to keep this very business like cold distance to the characters. Must see for Kubrick fans and fans of the young nouvelle violence
  4. Oh wow, don't try and sway the votes or anything. I don't, it's just true that the 80's and 90's got dominated by the more easy movies, think of the action-comedy etc. of course there were a few exceptions, but most of it was pretty easy going. :P It's nothing to be ashamed about or something, it was part of the entire thing back then. You can see a big difference now, compared to 80's and 90's as everybody is starting to make these 'movies that matter'.
  5. 60's have got my preference, 70's are pretty good as well, don't really like the 80's.
  6. For those who thought I had a pretty big collection. This is from the guy I bought my SalÃÆÃâÃâò Criterion from, and this is pretty freaking wild... *drools* Click the frogs to see the pics. Or this one from the OP at importforum... http://www.theimportforums.com/viewtopi ... sc&start=0
  7. Ordered SNUFF #01062/10000 http://imdb.com/title/tt0072184/ FAST COMPANY (2 Disc Limited Edition) http://imdb.com/title/tt0079138/ Eraserhead OOP
  8. I just noticed I was mistaken, I put Ep. IV while it needed to be Ep. V For the finals, but I just edited to avoid further confusion. Putter, which is the obvious choise? Empire strikes back over return of the jedi, or empire strikes back over blade runner?
  9. Star Wars Ep. IV is an amazing movie, but for me it doesn't beat:
  10. Titanic - The James Cameron version of '97. I don't see why everybody is complaining so much about it, probably because 'everybody' is doing it. I didn't think it was that bad, to be honest I thought it was quite good. 7.5/10
  11. I assumed that when you will get your first instrument you won't get it at somekind of shop that isn't interested in giving you the best information. And I wasn't saying your information was bad, Dan, it just seems better when you go to a good shop for your information than randomly ask people on a gaming forum.
  12. Oh, good job! That's a very sweet looking car! I wish I could get a driver's licence, I'm 19 and I haven't got it!
  13. Oi, but it is true: I really love you!
  14. The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - Well, that was poor, very poor. So poor, that is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It was slow, childish, clicḫ̩̉̉. It had annoying characters, played by annoying actors. Not to mention that fluorite battle at the end. And, no blood in Narnia? Well, I can be very short about this: It just had an overal lack of inspiration. An aweful product. A waste of celluloid.
  15. You do that, Bubs. I got 106 with this one, our 'national' IQ test gave ma result of 117. But I never took a 'real' IQ test. I'm not really interested in it either. I did the one on T.V. for entertainment purposes, together with my friends (everybody answered alone of course) and this one out of boredom.
  16. I didn't even know they appeared in Holland. I'd love to see them once, and I'm sure I'll see them once. :)
  17. Not that I know anything about it. But it might be useful to go to a shop and get information there. They can probably give you better information than you would get on the forum. Just an idea though.
  18. It was so long ago that I had seen it, that it was funny again.
  19. I'm smelling pretty neutral, I guess. Just normal showergel, and a bit of deodorant. And I'm wearing a shirt that doesn't have any special smell.
  20. Christ, this forum is about REAL LIFE movies. NOT Runescape videos. When will you guys learn that life isn't just about Runescape.
  21. I'm going to see Narnia today, as it got it's DVD release here in Holland today. And I'm in the middle of "Titanic". The '97 version with Leo and Kate. It's quite entertaining so far, I don't see why everybody is so negative about it.
