Greenday has been around since? Half-way/end of the 80's? I bet half of you weren't even BORN at that time. AMERICAN IDIOT came out when? 2004? That's ATLEAST 14 years of the same style. You can't blame a band for growing up, getting mature, growing to a stage where they REALLY have something to say. Me and You and Everyone We Know - Went to our small but cute theater that show scary and obscure 'alternative' movies, and I was all alone. But God, this movie was good, it was goood gooood gooood gooooooood gooooooooooooood gooooooooooooooood goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. Very, very, very goood goooood gooooooood gooooooooooood gooooooooooooooooood gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. And bit artsy-fartsy at times though, but still good goooood goooooooooood goooooooooooooooood gooooooooooooooooooooooood goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. Go see it if you still got the chance. 8/10 Oh, and I found the perfect woman. I've got a bit of a weird ideal for beauty, and I never really saw it before, but now I saw it in this movie! <3<3

Gosh, I wish I knew more about these interesting topics. I'm (almost) completely ignorant when it comes down to these things. It's great that you guys know how everything works though.

They've got a team that worked together previously, which was quite succesful. But I don't know, these movies get old. Can't really say I'm "looking forward to it".

Heh, I think I'm going with the dream theorie. :P Although the two world way was what I was thinking during the movie. Going to talk about it with a mate soon, he knows EVERYTHING about the movie. :P But you can't really figure out what Lynch wanted to say with it, as he never gives away anything. Quiz Show - Meh, I don't really care about it. Sure it's a 'true' story and all, but the movie just wasn't very good, I think. The entire body of the movie was kind of pointless, it didn't have to do much with the entire thing; all that happened was some, not even half interesting, quest to find evidence type of stuff. And a lot of famous quote yelling, which I really hate. But other than that it was pretty easy to consume, I guess. When there's really nothing on T.V. and you don't have any other movies at home you want to see: this would be something you could watch. 5.5/10 Les Amants Criminels - Fortunuatly this was better, a lot better. It's an interesing mix of the various genres, combined with a great version of Hansel and Gretel! Instead of a cannibal witch we've got a homosexual-cannibal hunter with a passion for killing rabbits! The plot was shambling a bit here and there, but that wasn't really annoying or something, more a part of the movie, which I kind of liked; some own interpretation. And the visual style at some points was just bluntly copied from Jeunet's DELICATESSEN. The movie brings up a lot of interesting other questions though, and it has got a more than great ending shot. And in various other ways it's a typical Ozon movie. I think this is worth seeing, especially since Ozon is loved amongst the 'younger' (15 - 25) audience. 7.5/10

Haha, I started reading, and I thought this was some copy pasted article from some kind of website, about some guy's last living days while he was on a cruise. I was reading and expected some kind of accident to happen and everybody died, lol. Anyway, sounded like you had a great week! That pic on the bridge is great! Wish I could go on a cruise. But alas, I'm not rich enough. :P

I ordered two DVD box sets. Three war movies by Andrzej Wajda. A criterion collection box. Five movies by famous american director John Cassavetes. Also a criterion release.

So. We've had a topic about what cd's you just bough, and that got a bit lostt. The one about DVD's is fairly old and I couldn't find it that soon. So. A new topic about CD's and DVD's combined. So. I heard it was a bit 'gory', but that was all. That there hardly was a story. Ah well, haven't seen it. I'll go this week so I can judge for my own.

Kashmir - No Balance Palace <3 it's so good.

The Shining - It's kind of anoying when you've got friends who just got 'into' movies. They want to see all those movies that you've seen atleast a thousand times before. So I had to sacrifice my afternoon and see THE SHINING instead of SAMARIA. Well, it's good, we all know that. So I'm not gonna waste more words than necessary on it. 8/10 or something. Mulholland Dr. - Well, the first time I was obviously surprised by some scenes, so at that time I let my hormones do the thinking. This time I was well prepared and watched it more serious. Well, it's just great. Could be kind of confusing at first time. But that doesn't really matter. It's all about atmosphere. 8.5/10
