I've seen it in cinema, at the sneak preview. I don't know what the deal is with release dates, it's kind of vague. This is the list IMDB gives. Canada 17 September 2005 (Toronto Film Festival) Germany 25 October 2005 (DVD premiere) Italy 11 November 2005 Estonia 30 December 2005 Brazil 3 February 2006 Belgium 22 February 2006 Netherlands 9 March 2006 Thailand 23 March 2006 France 10 May 2006 Really weird, because it doesn't even say a USA release. :? The Magnificent Seven - Basically a remake of Kurosawa's Seven Samurai (it's even credited as that). They just swapped cultures, but of course this one has a lot less to offer. Nice for an evening of entertainment, but nowhere as great as the 'original'. 7/10

At what point in your life where you were the least social

Mine would be about now. I don't feel like being with my friends because I don't find them very interesting and they bore me to dead with all their nonsense, they only want to watch T.V. and they only want to go out to a caf̮̩̉̉. It's good that I've got other friends, which I see more often though. But the past few years I went out almost twice a week, and now I haven't gone out to a caf̮̩̉̉ once the past four weeks. -
That's odd...A movie with Spacey and Freeman that came out in 2005 and I've never even heard of it...It must be a keeper... No, its only because Justin Timberlake has a role in there, thats why Nah, it's not just because of Justin Timberlake, the entire thing is just plain horrible. Aweful script that's been done about thousand times before, but this is about 10 times worse as usual, the bad direction, I don't see why he chose for the things he did in this movie, it made absolutely no-sense. And you can't put all the blame on Timberlake, and he should get back to dancing, instead of acting. But for some reason they chose to let Timberlake cary the movie, and that's just plain stupid, especially when you've got actors like Spacey and Freeman for assistence. Tsotsi - One of the movies nominated for an Oscar of best foreign language film. I thought it was slightly dissapointing. I expected a lot more from the townships, and I was curious how they brought them to life in the movie, but in the end we had only like four different locations in the townships, that weren't particulary interesting either. Some important scenes were failed completly by chosing the easy way to go. Of course it wasn't all that bad, Presley did a great job portaying Tsotsi, who was a better gangster than any Scarface out there. And some scenes were really good and succesful for the movie. All in all this wasn't a masterpiece, but it wasn't really bad either. 6.5/10 I'd say. Gallipoli - Pretty good, if only for the final shot, which is absolutely amazing. It was a pretty nice, yet romanticized, story of two men who become friends who get seperated by war to meet eachother again during the war. Locations were carefuly picked and the events felt very spontanious, which was a good thing. The scenes in war were pretty good, you could deff. see the influence of Paths of Glory. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the soundtrack, which gives a pretty timeless movie that typical 80's label. 7.5/10 I'd say.

Das Kabinett des Dokter Caligari - It's great, just great, and important. 8/10 Bin-jip - It just doesn't get much better than this. Kim . 9/10

Timeless, in story aswell as visual. 8/10 Gegen die Wand (2004 - Fatih Akin) - Great, very, very great. A recommendation. 8.5/10 Edison (2005 - David J. Burke) - ***Caution*** a crime against cinema has been committed ***caution*** AVOID AT ALL COSTS! YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS! 2/10

I alwaus listen to relaxing music, that usually works. If that doesn't work I put on some slow complicating movie for half an hour, then put it off and I sleep like a baby.

A band that name theirselves to a childrensbookhero must be horrible.

Disney is going back to it's roots and is going to release a new animation movie using their old style of animating. What you also might find very interesting. A Scanner Darkly http://img12.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc ... anner1.jpg http://img21.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc ... anner3.jpg http://img13.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc ... anner4.jpg They also make movies outside of Hollywood, and even in between all those plastic movies made in Hollywood there are great movies still made. Movie making in Hollywood has always been done for the money, it has been like that in '42 with Casablanca, and in 2005 with The Chronicles of Narnia. Of course 'the masses' like easy Hollywood movies better than some kind of akward dialogueless movie from Korea, or any other 'complicating' way of translating feelings to the screen. 'The masses' want to see what they want.

I never really make lists for CD's, I just got shopping and see what I come home with. I really should get all the Muse CD's, especially since they are so cheap now.

Cloaca - Originally this is a t.v. movie, but I had the privilege to watch this in cinema last year, at that time it was great, it really moved me, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Now that I bought it yesterday and seen it for the second time, I don't really like it that much. It was okay, but too artsy fartsy and didn't manage to capute all that emotion again. Yet another perfect example why movies should be seen on the big screen, even the ones that don't use all those special effects and action. 7/10

Not a band, but an album. We're only in it for the money. By the Mothers of Invention. It combines a lot of different rock styles from different era's and is basically a mockery of the hippe era and life in America. Due to the combination of the various rock styles and 'different' vocals and excentric compositions you can deff. label this as pshycadelic. Listen to the entire album, not just a few songs. Easily one of my fav. albums. It's like nothing you've ever heard before, that's a promise. Tracklist: 1. Are you hung up? 2. Who needs the peace corps? 3. Concentration moon 4. Mom & Dad 5. Telephone conversation 6. Bow tie daddy 7. Harry you're a beast 8. What's the ugliest part of your bodie 9. Absolutely free 10. Flower punk 11. Hot poop 12. Nasal retentive calliope music 13. Let's make the water turn black 14. The idiot bastard son 15. Lonely little girl 16. Take your clothes of when you dance 17. What's the ugliest part of your body (reprise) 18. Mother people 19. THE CHROME PLATED MEGAPHONE OF DESTINY For first time listening don't just play at your PC while playing RS or something. Put it in your CD player, grab the lyrics with you and really listen, it's a great experience. Don't expect mind-gripping guitar solo's either, percussion is great though. In case you might wonder when you hear it, "Flower Punk" is indeed based on "Hey Joe" by Hendrix. -
For jeans that's length and width, right?

Kelly Clarkson is pretty sweet Katie Melua is nice as well. Robbie Williams of course. I always liked Christina Aguilera (sp?)

That's partly because Seven Samurai is shot on location and Rear Window is completely shot in studios. Hitch didn't like to shoot location because it was too complex with lighting and so. And of course both have a completely different style.

Messi was acting? Lol, the first time they almost amputated his leg, and the second time they bodychecked him. :? -
Best: I can pick up certain things pretty fast (or something, I really don't know) Worst: I never know when to quit when I'm pissing people off.

I couldn't care less if a 'detective' or 'noir' depends what you would like to call it is predictable, it's all about atmosphere. M, The Third Man and Touch of Evil are great.
