  1. Bubsa doesn't need to lighten up. You need to use your brains before you post something. Bubsa never gives a reaction like this, and in all honesty, I can't blame him for giving you this reaction. I fully agree with him.
  2. Huh. I didn't see a movie yesterday. Going to see Mrs. Henderson Presents tonight at an early showing. I guess it'll be a old woman comedy though. :P
  3. I don't really see what all the fuss is about. You can store more stuff, like always. Was this really so unexpected or surprising?
  4. I'm not really a cat fan, but this one was pretty funny. I liked the one where the cat gave the dog a hug. :P
  5. Christ. p0nd3r4 just shut up, and leave the topic if you haven't got anything else to contribute. :?
  6. I absolutely love spicey food. But it musn't be so spicey that you can't taste the food itself anymore. I can stand the spicyness, but I'd like to taste all the hard work somebody has put in his/her dinner.
  7. Depends on the girl and it's up to the guy to find out himself.
  8. Not really any favorites, but I really like Chad Wackerman, Phil Collins, Ginger Baker and Ian Paice. Tonight I first saw a "Rush" concert and I must admitt Neil Peart seemed to be a very skillful drummer as well. But I'm no expert of course.
  9. Oh, you really made it sound as you should play Stairway to Heaven because you thought it had to do with murder. It sounds rather strange that you specially picked this song because "it sounds good" when you killed somebody. Otherwise you wouldn't name it so specifically (sp?) with death.
  10. Why should you play Stairway to Heaven at with every death you cause? I don't see the connection between killing somebody in an online game and a song that is about a woman who only cares for money and discovers that that way of living won't get her in heaven.
  11. Batman (1989) - I kind of liked it, didn't pay too much attention because I was kind of tired from work. I also fell asleep about 10 minutes to the end. Oldboy (2003) - Same story as that post I wrote in which nobody replied, I think. Quality movie and deff. worth seeing. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) - The first Indy (Indiana Jones) movie from the trilogy. I guess you all know the story. It's funny, exciting, very, very good looking and of course Ford in a typical Ford role. One of the better, if not the best, adventure movies out there.

    King Kong

The classic isn't horrible at all. It has been a revolutionairy films that inspired a lot of filmmaker and other technicians on modern cinema.
  13. I like Dazed and Confused, Kashmir, Stairway to Heaven and You Shook Me a lot. And I like various other songs as well of course, but these do stand out for me.
  14. Scott started using that kind of music at various 'moving' scenes ever since Bladerunner, after that it has been copied a lot. It just annoys me, it's a good thing that people do like it though.
  15. It's based on the book by the marques de sade. I don't 'like' (in terms of OmG RoFl) the film or anything, but I do think it's an above average film, with at some moments very good cinematography. Surely it's not for every viewer, but I'm not every viewer. On itself it isn't that great, but it being Passolini's last movie he made before he was murdered does mean something, and of course the main reason is the rarity since I already got the DVD on the British Film Institute version.
  16. Cool, never knew I was a genius.
  17. Really? I felt that the Gladiator soundtrack was one of the most effective. Especially the song "And now we are free" I don't know which song was at what moment in the movie. But the music I didn't like was that kind of epic sound with those woman humming that makes it sound all mysterious and so. It's way overdone and makes it sound so empty, they've done it at various important scenes. One of them was at the death of his wife and son.
  18. Never mind about that part. I took you for somebody else. My bad, sorry. Question still stands though.
  19. I've got some of their songs, they're okay, but everything has been said with that for me.
  20. The korova part is more of a taste thing so I can't really say much about that. The movie didn't take a fun comedic look at the story at all. It's a statement about violence that's still appliable on todays society, I don't see how one could consider that funny if they looked trough the first layer of the movie. I didn't really see what was wrong with the acting, maybe you could be more specific on that part. The complete lack of story is yet again a book to movie comparance. It's obvious that this movie is about Alex and not the others, hence he ignored that 'detail'. There movie is still a three act, it's pretty obvious. Also the character of Alex does grow, that he makes jokes at the end of the hospital does not mean he hasn't changed. He went from one point of the line to another, and after that he found a way between them.
  21. What are the other problems then?
  22. EXACTLY. Clockwork Orange would have been 10x better, but it was seriously lacking a moral ending. That annoyed me to no end, because the book was sooo much better. Ah, c'mon that's such a crap excuse to say a movie was bad because it didn't exactly stick to the book. Give a man credit because they film their own interpertation instead of giving an exact copy of the book.
  23. Oh. My. God. We made a deal. I am getting the rarest DVD every printed. For everybody who wants a good read on the rarest DVD. http://www.rareoopdvds.com/detail.php?m ... splay=info
  24. Yes. :) Yes what? I ask you a question why you put those songs up, and all you come up with this? You're not stupid, right? Or are you just empty but to try to give yourself some content you come up with good songs, in that case you're just as bad as the community you despise in other topics.
  25. What kind of things does a great album opener need according to you? Comming up with a list of great songs that happen to be the first track on an album isn't too hard.
