  1. They might have planted a bomb inside the lil' kid. Better safe than sorry.
  2. Home Alone 1,2 The Nightmare Before Christmas Love Actually The Big Friendly Giant Gremlins Scrooged Bad Santa Joyeux NoÃÆÃâÃâël (Merry Christmas) The Holly and the Ivy Scrooge (1951) And some others, I'm not really into much Christmas movies.
  3. How could I forget one of the most legendaric soundtracks ever. 2001: A Space Odyssey
  4. What? How can you get bruises from a ping pong ball being served at your back? That must be impossible, lol.
  5. Alright, we came to the conclusion that this would be good if the GME competition had ended. The competition has ended, Lord of the Rings has won the competition. So it seems right to give this topic a small bump. :) Shall I start making an OP for it? Or?
  6. I don't know if you guys did this aswell, "around the table", you're with a group of like 8 people. And you serve, and run to the other side of the table, the person on the other side of the table returns the ball and runs to the other side of the table etc. etc. Every person who hits the net or slams the ball out of the field gets kicked out untill you got two people left, and they play a small match. :P
  7. Ah, well. Lord of the Rings won it, it's not that much of a disgrace, you can have far worse movies up there. Of course you can have a lot of way better movies up there as well. Thanks for all the time and work you have put in this competition Phil!
  8. It has been a few weeks since I posted this now, and I was really wondering if some people tried their music and what they thought of it. That is the point of this thread, right?
  9. Sorry, I don't like it. I don't like one of the characters, not because they have guns or something, they just don't look right. It's kind of hard to explain since I'm no expert, so maybe my opinion is less valuable. The cabbin doesn't look good either. The floor and stars are okay though. You're other latest works have been a lot better, I think. 6/10.
  10. Yawn. I wouldn't have a clue, there are so many different rock songs for so many different moods. Now I am tired and so I like Shine on you Crazy Diamond a lot. But in an hour it will be different.
  11. Freddie Mercurry Bob Dylan - he might not have such a good voice, but he's a good singer. Frank Sinatra That dude from Linkin Park, chester, or what is his name? His voice is pretty good as well, if he really sings live that is. Mariah Carey has a good voice I think. Aretha Frankin is nice aswell. Some others.
  12. I still don't like it to be qualified as a "noob" though. But let's drop it.
  13. I for one didn'tt know who Cliff Burton is/was. I didn't know he was a bandmember from Metallica, and I didn't know he was dead. But then again, I guess I'm some "emo who only watches bands on MTV". " " QUIT THE FREAKING ROLL EYES; THEY DON'T SUIT YOU! Oh Btw Sunwarrior. Like we don't know those guys came with those bands. "                         "
  14. D'uh. How could I forget!? Great choice, but I bet I didn't have to tell you that. :P
  15. I only played it when I was on vacation and I had nothing to do, it is fun though. :)
  16. Match Point - Finally a good Woody Allen movie, that can compete with his older movies. It was really great. A well done love story with great characters (that developed good aswell) and an excellent cast. The images were okay, nothing too fancy though. And the soundtrakc was very good. The small inside joke Scarlett made when she had to improvise a name for Chris was great too. :P 8/10 The Warriors - Somebody though it would be cool to make a game out of this movie, and since the game got out this '79 cult hit is as hip as can be. So I had to watch it. And indeed, it's hip. Great costume design, great soundtrack, good concept, less good acting, and violence. 8) A real men's movie. 7.5/10 Garden State - Saw this one after The Warriors, it was fairly good. Braff could've been a little more original in his directing, and a little bit less desperatly alternative, so the jokes and characters would've been a bit more subtile. It wasn't bad and I enjoyed myself, but it wasn't entirely great. 7.5/10

    Jarhead

I saw a trailer for it in cinema, and I must say it looked damn promising, so now I know that it's comming here, I'm deff. gonna see it.
  18. Vast Vision, he used to be Dj Stino. The beginning: Stijn aka Vast Vision starts at the age of 17, in september 2003, with Fruityloops which he got from a friend. He begins to start making "trance" with fruity but nothing to serious yet. When its december 2003 he is putting his first real tracks together which are really sounding like something, but its still all a bit fruity. Then in march 2004, when 5tino has brought out his first album with simple trance tracks he found out about iDJ and things are getting really serious now. He is making some good stuff in Fruity now with tracks like The Last Flight and Universal trance....but then.. People say that Stijn should move on to some more pr0 stuff so he gets himself via via the magical program Reason 2.5....and jeah he is using that now since April 2004 and his tracks are really going to sound cool now.... I hope you will like my trance songs...and never forget: Trance is a lifestyle But that seems to be a bit out-dated. He's having all this good software, he's using some kind of ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì1100,-- program (I was kind of shocked when I heard the price, damn, I forgot the name of the programma) which was one of the better programmes out there (what he said).
  19. I'm not really into dance music. There is some of the Hed Kandi albums that I really like, but they are more laid back. For normal dance/trance etc. I only listen to it when I go out, something to dance on, that's pretty nice. My cousin is doing a pretty good job in the dance 'industry', he got signed at a few big labels (from what I remember from last sunday), and Dj TiÃÆÃâÃâësto, Armin van Buuren and various other big Dj's are playing his tracks. End of this year he will get his first pay-out, but that won't be too much. He's got three tracks, and he will get a few hundred per track. From what he told me.

    20 questions

Didn't work for me, it could be seen as close though. I thought of a piece of film. It came out with a DVD-Rom.
  21. Do all to win (within the rules and what is generally accepted in the sport outside the rules), and if you done that it's not bad if you lose. And I always chose the sports I enjoyed, of course.
  22. Rod Stewart is pretty big. George Michael WHAM? And of course: Phil Collins from Genesis. :o
  23. Footloose, that was on T.V. last night, but I missed it.
  24. cKy? Is that an abbreviation, or the name of the band? Since it's a 'lesse known' band and I am too lazy to google it might be nice to mention that. :)
