it would be hard to know which is best without knowing their mage bonuses, but assuming that black and white knights have the same bonuses, black knights, either in their taverly dungeon hideout or in the fortress (there arent enough white knights for fast training)

remember the attack triangle - it applies for everything, players or monsters, so you would be worst off maging range npc's, and melle npc's who wear melle armour ore gonna get pwned

lvl 56, in the blurite mine (from knight's sword quest) there are also ice warriors there (level 52) who you should avoid, as they hit hard

if ye want big bones, do ice or moss giants (rembering just now, ice ginats are great, empty often and many of them)

think about training like this - i want exp, and rare drops are a bonus. if you are only killing dustdevils for chains, shadow warriors for squares, fire ginats for d meds and bronze dragons for d legs, you are going to be dissapointed alot

range and mage will only effect your combat if they are much higher than your melee stats, so keep your melee high and mage and range can be got really high as backup. however, pures shouldnt get prayer too much higher than 43
