i do agree with the fact that you need to know your limits,and have certain boundaries you need to hold yourself to (when it comes to health,eating..and such). however,i am all for indulging in whatever you wish to indulge in as long as it doesn't put yourself or others in jeopardy..if you want to have a lot of sex with the woman of your desires,have at it..if you wish to indulge in certain desires,do so..you only have one life,live it.

jason becker takes the cake with this one..in terms of technical ability,yet still retaining that emotional feel to it that gives it that extra special something..shame he had to deal with that awful disease so early. other than that,my personal favorite here being...greg mackintosh (1989 - 1995 era).

my god..get over yourself. all this does is reinstate all your whineyness from the first post..that is all you do..yes,i am sure your dad is wonderful,yes i am sure you are intelligent and have a "high academic ability"..but honestly..i'm glad you got a grade like this,maybe it will make you more humble..although,judging from this..i doubt it. we all get lower grades at times..you just keep going..instead of going on about it and removing all the blame from the fact that it may not have been as brilliant as you thought it was.

right,so a person that doesn't let his height like that get in the way of what he wants is a laughing matter ? you have some growing up to do..get over yourself.

tough luck,get over it..it is one measly grade that is not up to par with your usual grades..you will manage. there will always be times where you thought you did wonderful,and it turns out your mark is below of what you ever could have expected..even with someone oh so brilliant as you,clearly. if you went here looking for sympathy,you're at the wrong place..honestly,this is just laugh worthy.

Things like this are one of the leading reasons why I'm an atheist. I see all of these young children with serious diseases and think: how can there be an all loving god? The major thing you don't understand though is that we are sinful and are born of a sinful nature. Ex: If you have ever lied, cheated... you are sinner (just clarifying I am not saying that I havn't) Saying this, we don't deserve mercy, So your basic question, (again not that you actually said this but it sums both of your questions) Why do bad things happen to good people? We don't deserve what we get because we sin. We are only granted mercy by God because He is merciful sins..sins. i am all for indulging,the restrictions and things the church and christianity put on people is ridiculous..they lead to gratification on this planet..they make people feel guilty when there is no need to. why do bad things happen to good people..god punishes them for sins..no matter how small the sin,a white lie..and poof..he throws you into the abbys ?..that is just too precious. that is what bothers me,everyone is like..oh,everything is a test..blah blah,god is testing us,if we get through..the paradise awaits us..yes,cute thought and all..but live your life,here,now. hell awaits me..and what a ride it will be. :lol:

it's a nice idea,i have attempted it many times..but i don't have enough discipline to uphold to it..i take a 15 minute break to watch tv,and end up thinking..screw the assignment,i'm staying here. :lol:

eh,i won't even respond to the other posts just yet,don't have the time nor the desire to argue with christian belief at the moment. i believe in god...the god in yourself..not the god who "loves" us all,nor the god that believes it is wrong to indulge or what not,and imposes morals and and rules that are far outdated,and make people feel guilty when there is no need to. you can't possibly love everyone,and those who say they do..are talking out of their behind. believe in yourself,before anything..don't be some mindless sheep that follows everything stated as the word of "god"..have a mind of your own,and enjoy this life while you can..it is the only time you will be able to. that said,i am all for letting one live his life however way he wants..aslong as no one is being bothered by it,have at it. have fun. :wink:

:thumbsup: ..recently got a tale from the thousand lakes and elegy myself. i rarely get alot at christmas,and that is okay with me..i got two books,one is called the the holy book of thelema,and the other is the satanic bible. besides that,i got a my dying bride album i have been wanting for a while.

i'm with the rest on this one..they are immensely overrated..and were just on the right spot at the right time,no more..i'll admit they have some catchy songs,but nothing really worth raving about.

brutal ?..that's hilarious. :lol: all i hear is generic crap coming from my speakers,"metal" by numbers..i'm not impressed.
