If you burn pretty fast and constantly for a couple hours a day, I think you can get 99 firemaking within a three or four months. But that's just an estimate I heard from somewhere. I think burning from general store is the best. Buying in bulk and burning from bank is no different, except in prices, and cutting and burning will take waaaay too long. I'd say do that if you get extremely bored.

I'd say kill ankous. those are the best, but if you're not strong enough for them, go to minos. they have a crazy drop rate of iron arrows.

Yea, go with iron, but a lot of people go to al kharid. if you can't find an empty world after try a few others, run to southeast varrok mines, and try using the 4 iron rocks there. although you have to run around, and you steal iron away from newbs, you don't have that much competition.

They do give good xp, but I'm not sure if they have a safespot...You may want to bring a set of rune and check it out yourself and try to find some safespots.

Merchanting is your best bet for fast money, but I hate selling stuff, so I would go with skilling. Steel bars, coal, lobbies, yews, or whatever else you can think of. Personally, I like steel bars.

yea, this is a pretty efficient way to save money. I did this until 81, but then I quit rs. THis works very well, but if someone else is burning there too, change worlds. Try looking through forums too to try and find some buyers.

Yea, go with hobs. If you can find a safespot for flesh crawlers, go to them, but if not, don't go to SoS.

You could also try steel plates and sell them later for 1k each or high alch them too, but I'm not too sure if they're better or worser xp than cannonballs.

crumble undead might be faster, but chaos runes are a lot more expensive than the cost of one curse spell.

i would never be a loner. i play runescape for pretty much just to chat. and even when i am skilling, it gets really boring if you don't have anyone to talk to.

I think if you get within the same level as them, their name turns from red to yellow, and after a while, it goes to green. once it's yellow, you can automatically left click attack
