  1. Check out behemoth. Heaviest band I've ever heard to date. Pantera- Cowboys from Hell. 8-) I've heard quite a lot of Behemoth. Some of the stuff they do is really heavy but it sounds quite thin to me. Have you heard any Deicide? They've got a nice thick sound which I haven't heard in such extreme metal before.
  2. If there is a song which is a cross between Imagine - John Lennon and 30-30/150 - Stone Sour, then thats me.
  3. Deicide - Homage for Satan. Holy whoa, this takes heavy to a new level. I don't agree with the lyrical content but it doesn't bother me much as you can't hear what hes saying.
  4. I'm also not a massive fan but I absolutally love a few of their tracks. The Trooper (possibly my favourite metal song ever), Run to the Hills, 2 Minutes to Midnight and Fear of the Dark are incredible. The only Motorhead I know is 'The Ace of Spades'. Can't really say that I like that either.
  5. If I saw anyone wearing a blue or red bandana, I'd give them a wide berth. We don't have any 'gangs' as such yet but each 'area' has a 'crew' which is pretty much a gang. They basically commit small scale break-ins and fight each other. I know of eight year olds who are in these crews and they happily break into houses and garages to steal stuff.
  6. Short Term - Get a job - Buy a new guitar and amp (maybe long term, depends if I can get a job  ) - Win a national fencing competition - Get into a new band Long Term - Learn more musical theory and improve guitar playing - Get good GCSE results - Learn to drive (already taking amateur lessons from parents) - Win at life.
  7. Dream Theater - The Glass Prison. I love the way the bass drum comes in under the first heavy riff, best use of a bass drum to emphasise speed that I've heard. And those arpeggio's =P~
  8. The Devil wears Prada. Bad. The only thing that stopped me walking out was that Anne Hathaway looked really hot in it. I give it a 4/10
  9. To be honest, I wouldn't have moved this. If someone wants to discuss their own music and share it with the forum, then I think its ok to post it here. The 'Bubsa sings' topic was fine, this one should be as well. I had a listen to these last night and I thought they were pretty good but really my kind of thing.
  10. Sticking my head in some railings as a 10/11 year old. My long hair allowed my ears to slide in. It didn't work coming out again. I was stuck, half hanging myself in the stairs of my house. In the end the fire brigade came and cut me out.
  11. Trivium - A Gunshot to the head of trepidation I normally can't stand trivium but I consider this song to be miles and miles better than the rest. Well the first half of it any way... HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY
  12. Your best bet is probally to go down to a music store/ DJ'ing store and ask how you can split up audio. I think the only way to do it is to buy specially made LP's or CD's, but I may be wrong.

Fred Perry? Lacoste? Berghaus? People happily pay for a Fred Perry shirt or Beghaus coat, just because they are 'fashionable'. I regularly have fun poked at me for my Krakatakazatizani (no idea how you really spell it) coat, when everyone else is wearing addidas tracksuit tops and fred perry jumpers.

You could try confronting people who say stuff about you and let them know how it makes you feel. If you are totally honest about it, only the real jerks will carry on doing whatever they are doing. And you don't want to be talking to people like that anyway.

For some reason, I love the look of a girl in a long skirt. It seems more elegant and natural than a 'just-to-look-sexy' short skirt. Up till today, I've always worn my jeans up pretty high - only because I've got large hips and I can't get them to go any lower. But today, my cousin bought me some nice baggy jeans and I'm loving them. :D According to my sister, they look hot or something :? I told her that she looked like a toddler.
  16. Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze

If the Christian God exists, hell does not exist. It's an illogical concept when refering to Gods attributes. Are you compassionate? If so, then would you save your child from going to hell? Of course you would, and you are not even infinitley compassionate like God. So if God is infinitley compassionate he would never even think of sending his children to hell. As Engles i think said "God is the sewer in which all contradictions flow". Thats one of the things that is making me question my faith. Why does God make us so un-equal, why is there suffering etc. On the other hand, why can we see beauty in nature or in paintings? It's not nessecary for our species to survive and therefore it can't have evolved that way. I think that beauty therefore must be from God. Or something like that. Anyway, for now I'll be calling myself agonistic.
  18. Anyway, my favourtite power ballad is probally Aerosmith - Don't want to miss a thing. I'm curious as to the exact definition of a Power Ballad, is it just a slow Rock type song? If it is then I'm changing to Through Glass or Zzyx Road by Stone Sour.

I like to think I'm off to heaven, even though I'm pretty damn sure it doesn't exist. I've gone to Church all my life but I'm having a faith crisis right now. I'm bored of living in belief in something with no concrete evidence, I can't see religion as anything other than a way of manipulating people. The only thing I carry on going to church is for the community and charity work. I'm pretty sure there was a Jesus and he was a great person with great ideas (love your neighbour, treat others as you would treat yourself etc.) but I don't believe he was the son of God or any of that miracle stuff or heaven or hell. Sorry for being so off-topic, I just felt like getting that off my chest.
  20. Swordfish - I got the feeling that this movie was trying hard to be original and twisty. It wasn't. I could see the twists and 'mis-directions' pretty easily. The action and story was cliched and I didn't really like the characters. 5/10. 300 - This was shallow and a bit on the boring side at times. The action was brilliant though and I loved the character of Zerkes. I had watched the South Park spoof the night before, which probally made it better for me. 7/10
  21. We're talking about if RL was a game. And in most games, frags score you points. Ah. I thought this was a serious philisophical question about what made a good life.
  22. Why the hell do people think that killing people makes you a highscorer in life? I'd judge how 'good' you are at life by how many peoples lives you affect in a positive way or how happy you are yourself. Probally both. IMO, being a moron and killing people gives you a minus score.

Apparently there is an artist called Ragen. Artists page There is also a caravan company Caravans And a column writer called Naomi Ragen. But when I took it as my internet alias, for all I knew it was original. Kinda forgot to google it to check if it was taken. My original nick was War (this was taken just about everywhere). I then changed to Wadu, then Goreth, Intwina, Fluff and Chris the Killer Penguin. The main reason for all these name changes was that my character on the MMORPG SoMX kept getting the stats mucked up on it and I didn't want to delete them for sentimental value. Eventually, I settled on Ragen. If Ragen is taken, I use one of the previous nicks or Ragenori. I usually use Intwina or Goreth if I can't get Ragenori. Edit - Ragenori search on Google brings up nothing but stuff about me :P
  24. 1) I think people should stop 'dissing' genres as a whole as thats completely unfair to the rap artists who are decent. Yes a lot are rubbish and sometimes they make it big (god knows how) but to every genre there is more than just the mainstream. Look deeper and if you still can't find talent you arn't looking properly or you don't want to see. 2) Your tastes arn't universal, don't go looking for a fight because you disagree with someone. I, for instance, see nothing entertaining or nice in country music. That doesn't mean its not good music, its just a comment on my tastes.
  25. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow into Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons. Great music to just lie down to and lose yourself in thought. Edit - Lol, forgot to post this. Now listening to some beautiful final fantasy music, this stuff is beautiful.
