Absolutally love them. I prefered their old singer (male) but the new one is still pretty good.
  2. Stone Sour - 30-30/150
  3. I've never done that but I have forgotten to zip up my bag. The guitar fell out, hit the pavement, bounced about a foot and slipped into the road. Luckily it was late at night and no-one was driving about. Scratched the body and snapped out the pick-up switcher but got it all fixed and sorted. Were you using plastic straplocks by any chance? I've got a pair and they are useless, popping off at random intervals.
  4. Quite. Hibbo? TPUM has no idea what a hibbo is.
  5. I'd forgotten how good that video was. That has to be my favourite solo and I'd say the best piece of drums I've heard. I really love Mike Portney from Dream Theater and Joey Jordison as well.

My science teacher runs an amatuer film group called the 'Production Room' (or something simular) that does there own Docter Who episodes. They even write their own scripts. It's awesome.
  7. Benny Benassi - Satisfaction. :)
  8. Well it gives you goals to work for, something many people lack. Thats the biggest reason for playing Runescape (or it was for me anyway). Most pointless game for me would be Tetris. It's just dropping bricks onto other bricks to make shapes which disappear to get a score. I see no point in that activity.
  9. I'm going to have to stop the gun debate now. If someone wants to start a thread on that, please go ahead. I'd love I debate about that.
  10. Take your choice between 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'We are the Champions', 'Don't Stop Me Now', 'Radio Ga Ga', 'Another one bites the dust' and 'We will Rock you'.
  11. Yeah, that cliche is 'too good to be true'.
  12. De-stickified. I can't be bothered uploading them right now but I'll upload all the tracks I've done since. They are: Love me tender - Elvis Presley (No backing guitar) Sic - Slipknot (No vocals) You're Beautiful - James Blunt (Both) Through Glass - Stone Sour (Both and my best attempt so far IMO) Blue Eyed Girl - Van Morrison (Both - Was done specially for a girl with very pretty blue eyes :P )
  13. Theres a copy of FF VI at my local store. Is it worth the ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã20 (!) they are charging for it? I loved 7 & 8 & 10 to the point of obession. Is 6 as good?

I don't think that Metal Bands don't take themselves seriously either. There is no reason why they shouldn't take themselves seriously unless they are writing over the top material, like I believe Canibal Corpse is (I haven't actually heard any of there material, I'm just going on the name). Slayer definately take themselves seriously, just read some interviews of the band members and see.
  15. All the piano solo's from the Final Fantasy series.
  16. Haha! I got a flying carpet! That was the evil dude from aladin right?
  17. Ummm... you gonna get huggled to death? :D
  18. Never seen you before :D Hello! 0/10.

Definitely. Thirdified. I like a lot of classical instrumentals as well, such as Ride of the Valkeries. There is also a lot of piano solo's that I love (generally slow ones, fast play doesn't suit a piano I think). On that note, can anyone recommend me some good piano solo's, I've just been downloading the scores from the final fantasy games up till now  .
  20. It's a tie between License to Kill and Casino Royal.
  21. The light-saber battle between Luke and Darth Vader in The Empire strikes back. "I am your father". Brilliant.
  22. I broke my arm in a bike crash, also smashed up my face a bit and cut my wrist. The next day I was booked in for a mountain biking course which I attended on my buckled bike the broken arm hadn't been noticed by either of my ex-radiographer parents. The course contained a 14 mile ride up and down hills (I couldn't sqeeze my left hand and therefore was limited to my front break). That was probally the worst pain over a period of time and combined with physical exhaustion and emotion stress (I was crying for the last several miles) that was the worst. Honourable mentions: - Grabbing hold of a carrot fresh out of boiling water. I burned the finger tips of every finger of my left hand. - Being knocked out by my sensei as he applied the lung 15 nerve point in my neck in a head-lock. It took me about 5 seconds to black-out. - Standing on a broken bottle. I noticed a [puncture]ling sensation in my foot and I picked it up, thinking I had stood on a sharp pinecone. I saw it was a bottle and I asked my uncle who was walking next to me to pull it out. He did and then the pain kicked it. It had pierced the very soft sole of my foot, only about half a centimeter deep but walking was painful for about two weeks.
  23. Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons This song has been my favourite for the last 2 years and it stills brings out floods of emotion in me.
  24. I like everything up to and including the Black Album. I heard somewhere that this album was going to be a return to the Thrashy sound of the 80's but I'm afraid I don't have a source. If its true then it might be good.
  25. I just saw the Passion of the Christ. I was expecting it to be as violent as it was and that didn't disturb me at all. What did freak me out a bit though was [hide=Spoilers]The scenes with Judas and the demons. I just wasn't expecting to have a devil jumping out of the dark or blood pouring from the mouths of devil-children. That aspect of the film was a little too horror story and not enough re-telling the story of Jesus. The story wasn't eye opening for me as a Christian and I expected as much. I'm a very liberal Christian and this all seemed a bit old fashioned. [/hide] 6/10
