Jaco Pastorious's solo work. It's jazz but I found it pretty interesting.

Recommend a movie to the poster above you.
This is like showing Jimi Hendrix how to play a simple chord. I recommend you Aristocats. Purely on the basis that you may not have seen it and I enjoyed it. It doesn't really have much in the way of artistic cinema, it's just a good cartoon movie.

He works in a record store, so there's not much I could really recommend. If you haven't heard of The Wombats (not sure how big they are in Holland), they are a pretty decent Indie band. gyCi4CMD29w

Limewire problem
As limewire is used almost exclusively for the pirating of music and other media, discussion on how to get it working here is not allowed. ~Locked~

Metallica - Death Magnetic leaked!
All Nightmare Long is the best track on my first listen. Hetfeilds vocals still sounded a bit weak to me.

Anti drug programs - Complete waste of money?
[hide=LSD correction]I hate to quote Wikipedia but I don't have the time right now to search erowid for exactly the same information. It's almost impossible to die from LSD. Other hallucinagens which are often sold to inexperienced drug users under the name of LSD such as PCP can cause an overdose though. If you're going to do LSD, make sure it is in blotter form. There are very, very few (if any) other chemicals which can fit onto a 1000µg blotter paper and have any effect on your body. It is also impossible to lace a joint with LSD due to the high temperature created by burning.[/hide] I believe that anti-drug programs should be factually correct and show only the facts. Pot is a relatively harmless drug and it's illegal status does annoy me, when the majority of problems I associate with it are only present because of it's illegality. The idea of laced weed is very, very rarely practiced. Mainly because it is a waste of whatever chemical is being burnt up. Most of the time, people just get too high and start having a panic attack/ mild hallucinations. This can be caused by buying unusually good weed and smoking it as you would smoke regular. The other problem I've seen happen to friends is when drug deals go wrong. If someone feels like they've been ripped off, they often take things into their own hands as they can't go complaining to the law. I think taking kids to a rehab center for a day would be a much better message to stay away from drugs than lying to them about addictiveness of pot.

About coincidences
It happens to me rarely. Co-incidence is merely odds at work. Eventually, two related things will happen together and you'll say "Oh what a co-incidence". For instance, one day about 5/6 years ago when I was riding my bike to my cousins, my mum made me put my bike helmet on (something I never did). I didn't wear it on the way (took it off the moment I was round the corner) but on the way back I did. I crashed into the pavement and wrote off the bike, broke my wrist and put an pretty big crack in the helmet. I didn't notice it back then but looking back it could look to someone that fate might have saved my life. I don't believe it though, it's still just luck to me.

I highly recommend Devin Townsend's solo material.Ziltoid the Omniscient is a masterpiece. You could get his work with Strapping Young Lad as well if you want something brutal. City is supposed to be their best but I've yet to buy it.

Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss. Best song on the album by far, they actually tried something... different  I might have to buy South of Heaven as I quite like the way they played a slower song.

Leeds/Reading Festival 2008
I got a day ticket for the Friday as I missed the weekend ones. I got a lift with a friend and his parents didn't want to go when the music started as "They put the trashy bands on first" so I ended up there about 1:30ish. I saw the last song of Alexisonfire, Plain White T's getting bottles, some bands on the unsigned stage, Black Tide, enough of Dropkick Murphy to put me off, Avenged Sevenfold, The Music (they were amazing), Pendulum (really amazing but the crowds were dangerous), Tenacious D and Metallica. The best bands for me were Pendulum and Metallica. Festival toilets are worse than is possible to describe. I can see why people went all the way to Tesco's to avoid using them. I'll probally be going next year. It's too early to say right now. I want to go to a festival for both the music and the chance to have a laugh with loads of new people. Be it Bloodstock, Leeds, Download or any other festival, I'll be going to one. Just got to decide which has the best lineup/ people going.

I'm not going to bother recommending metal :twss: If you ever need some brilliant Indie/ Pop, look up Middleman. The song "It's not over yet" will blow your head clean off. These guys mentored my band during a 6 week workshop and they are awesome. http://www.myspace.com/middlemanpop
