  1. Best console, eh? Well...I would have to say the NES. Had a bunch of excellent games, multiplayer, began a number of awesome franchises, some of which are still going strong too. Nothing could touch the NES back in the day.
  2. Gamerscore, for me, was a way to show how good you are at a particular, maybe not obvious way to do something in a game. But hold B for 1000 points? That's ridiculous.
  3. Why don't women drive? [hide]because there's no highway between the bedroom and the kitchen.[/hide]That being said, I despise (most) rap. Some rap is ok, but to much of it is sexist, racist, etc. I especially love how you say that rap is sexist after displaying two sexist jokes. Nice job bud.
  4. Best part of this topic. ^^ I hate rap music. Sure, seldom are there guys who rap about something that isn't shooting people, selling drugs, CRUNK, all those other stereotypical gangster lyrics, and kuddos to them, but there is just too many people that DO that ruin the whole genre for me. Just turn on the radio and you'll see what I mean. That's why you should go out and try to find rap that ISN'T mainstream, I.E. the rap that isn't sexist, racist, or pure crap crap crap.
  5. Oblivion will last you a very long time, my friend. But Halo 3 wouldn't be a bad choice either. In my opinion though, go with Oblivion. There's lots of DLC too.
  6. TimeSplitters 2 was great, and so was Future Perfect. This is gonna be SWEET!!!! :D
  7. The AVGN goes a little overboard I think. He just seems like an angry man to me... :ohnoes: The guys at ScrewAttack with their Top 10's both trashtalk AND praise. AND they're hilarious to boot. :XD:
  8. I WATCHED THIS GUY FROM THE BEGINNING!!! HE IS HYSTERICAL!!!!! Good taste.
  9. It seems to me to be like R rated movies: an adult should be present, but other than that, it's O.K.
  10. My thoughts exactly. Seems like she likes video games though. That's pretty awesome I'd say! :) Good for them! Hope they have a good together I guess.
  11. No. I play my 360 on my SDTV, and sure it's not great, but it looks much better when you start to realize that an HDTV will put you down and out a couple thousand (maybe that much :? )
  12. Short answer yes, long answer yes but be prepared to wait for the library to include more great games. The Wii had Twilight Princess, ExciteTruck, SUPER MARIO GALAXY (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and will soon have Brawl. Not too many great games, but the innovation, multiplayer fun, and of course the names only found on the big N, it's worth it. Also the cheapest system too. AND you can buy old NES/SNES/N64 games too!!!!! WAHHH!!! great system in short, I think!

IF you think about it, the 360 really is sort of a mini-computer, and so, like computers, it's quite heavy. It's not like a slim PS2 at all. Yes, it does make noise, but it's not really that noticable for me, so....yeah.
  14. +1 for Ikaruga. Great game. SSBM, Sunshine, Double Dash, and of course the Collecter's Disc (Zelda). That right there is a deal if I ever saw one. Not only that, but Wind Waker should get more props than it has. It's a great game.
  15. +1 for M83 and Radiohead man.
  16. I'm doing a lot of panning I guess, musically, right now, but my top 5? 1. Radiohead 2. Jay-Z 3. The Who 4. Michael Jackson 5. Bruce Springsteen Wow. All those are pretty much not related to each other. Weird. :ohnoes:
  17. Anyone seen the movie? Or heard Jay-Z's new album? I'm a big fan of Jay-Z, and mind you that I think A Bay Bay and others songs like it are crap crap crap. I bought the album and think it's not too bad. It's no Black Album though. And I also heard the movie was alright, but no Godfather. Comments?
  18. Not Radiohead.
  19. The original was like an orgasm of color, sound, RPG goodness. Cross; meh. 3? Please Square? Pretty please? I saw this topic and almost asploded.
  20. My system would be handhled; sort of like the PSP, except that it wouldn't suck. Just kidding! O:) Being a "retro" gamer, or, at least a fan of retro games, I'd just want it to play sprite-based games sort of like the GBA. Basically a GBA with other capabilities like music, etc. Not very innovative, but probably hella fun. :D
  21. I see your choices are extremely mainstream, especially judging by your "deep thought" song... O:)

Seeing Wayne's World secured my love for this song. Great way to break the ice when you're around a lot of people too.
  23. Gives medal* I don't like Rap because its all about them raping about Cappin' Pimpin' Hating their moma' I know its stereotipical but thats all the rap I've heard. Then I invite you to listen to Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Talib Kweli, among others.
  24. Jim Gaffigan makes me laugh. Not only on the Sierra Mist commercials, but also when he talks about Hot Pockets.
  25. While I do not play the console, I play a lot of my PS1 games, like Ape Escape, Brave Fencer Musashi, the Spyros (all classics expect for that fifth gen crap) Crash Bash, Crash Bandicoot, etc. etc. I also LOVE all the old Final Fantasies and a lot of the old SNES games... Chrono Trigger TMNT IV Batman Returns etc. etc.
