Not very encouraging thing to say :notalk: If you really don't want to get that 40def, then go for 30def because 20def just doesn't work in free game, although it's fairly good in p2p. I know few very good pkers with 30def but the main thing is, keep 1pray. It's totally not worth of getting especially when you have defence already.

If I were you, I'd get my ranged and magic up really. Your melee stats are too rounded for pking imo. :-w

Well I myself faced the very same problem, to get 70def or not. I solved it out with quitting rs for awhile & spending some time in free game on my old accounts. Time will tell should I get my 70def or leave it to 45. Currently I'm hoping upcoming summoning skill would provide me the answer. If that doesn't happen, I might as well get new membs within few months & go for quest cape & 70def. :

This wasn't big month for me. Other than releasing info about summoning it has its own positive and negative sides. I'd stay in 45def and 44pray all the way until 99ranged. Then consider getting defence again. :)

G maul, you use melee for koing right? Mystic + black d hide, best recipe gloves you can get, maybe climbing boots for extra str bonus depending on your magic bonus, otherways mystic or splitbark boots. Penance fighter helm, although I can't remember if it had huge negative magic bonus.

Not worth of it, rather train at minotaurs until 50ranged. Hobgoblins are only good AFTER 50ranged. Didn't they fix bone bolts price? I heard they aren't 4gp ea anymore. I might be wrong though. If I'm correct, then do animal magnetism for avas accumulator (collects your arrows/knives/bolts and so on) and train with iron knives. Since you're getting pray, get 44 instead of 43 for eagle eye. Best of luck with drops, you'll need it. Rather stay at fire giants all the way until 99ranged or start ranging black dragons for visages at 90 ranged, even one visage will be enough to fund your magic training. Range/mage hybrid...? What does this have to do with anything? Unless you want higher hp or pk in free game more than in p2p, nope, you don't need them.

Umm he never mentioned getting attack up? So I assume he's going to be obby mauler. Well you're not going to get that fire cape with 31pray so forget that goal. :?

You don't need prayer for those quests (except 11 for dt which you get from priest in peril). :)

Just a rough guess but hp will be about 83 - 84.. and that's easily enough. Keep that 60attack by the way 8-)

I prefer southern side of the crafting guild's cow field for hob shooting. Usually noone's shooting there. Anyway if you fancy doing quests rather than shooting ankous, I'd consider finishing most of the f2p quests so you can start d slayer & acces to crandor. Moss giants are decent ranged xp most of the time.

I have one, with 60def 71rang 65str and 1pray. And you can't kill anyone with it unless you do 2h switch. Believe me, I tried. -.- Of course above statement is false if you're known for good luck...

I've been wondering why I never saw anyone using salamanders when I was member. I was going to try one but unfortunately I ran out of membs. Since black salamander, for example, requires 70att/ranged/magic to wield and has all 3 attack options (melee - str/ranged/magic) and in my opinion decent bonuses as well, it makes me wonder why they are so rare. So I'm asking if you have any experience about them; What's the max. hit you can do with them? How many tars you can load into salamander at once? Can you get your ammunation back?

If you pk alot and get lucky. Also you should consider of getting vengeance. It's definitely worth of it if you pk at edge.

When I did DT I ran to guy who was lvl 32, he was trieng to finish pyramid as well. I'm not sure if he ever managed to finish it but other than that I've heard of lvl 36 finishing it. Since the topic holds very little to discuss about I'll add youtube link about lowest lvl guy who completed MM. 8-) Lvl 17, I think that's quite an achievement..next 60attack with 1str I hope. :

I'm sure Jagex will add diff. races to choose from in near future, it just wouldn't work this way. I think you would start in totally different place for example if you were elf, you would start in that big elven city. And about gameplay elements, the changes would be huge, just think about possibilities with elven magic and prayers. Also you wouldn't have all human race quests available for you. New race would occasionally get their own quests and storylines. Either way, if and when this happens I'd be very excited. \ This is true, xp never wen't down or up, in rs1 you just started with exactly 1000xp in hp, which game then rounded to lvl 10. I got 2 9hp accounts this way. Made them in rs1, but never trained before rs2 came out. Also I'm not 100% sure but I think every class started with same hp or at least my first wizard account had 10hp :anxious:

Amen. I couldn't agree more with you. I do have sympathy for that girl since I've lived through hard times as most of people has. But one thing I can't understand is suicide. It's for over-selfish losers who don't think about their loved ones feelings. If you really have to kill yourself, plan it out and make it look like an accident... :anxious: And about those parents... And I mean girls parents and that other kids parents. Their acting is ridiculous. One couple acts like a paranoia patients and another like a...well let's say their discipline is plain too strict. :notalk:

Some people took around 90str with 1att 1def back in rs1 so it's possible, you just need alot of patience. Anyway, 1 attack isn't really worth of it in free game. If he had about 20att he would beat you. I remember losing to d 1 samler when she had 20att 82str and I had 45att 70+? str on my old pure. :P

And get magic up for magic defence & more powerful spells..

You might have had luck, but stats are potential staker stats so I'll say get str up along with ranged for hp and I think you should be fine. Good idea to practice with small stakes. :)

Not a very good idea if you want to keep 1pray. But looks like a beastly staker and overal nice account. Can't really find such a pures anymore in rs2. And getting ranged and magic up for hp is great idea, good luck with that.
