  1. Ive tried to kill them with melee and the magic attack they have just takes me out fast. Any suggestions?
  2. For cash you could fish lobs, mine coal or iron, cut willow-yews. I bought my whip at 1.64m but they could have dropped since then. Look for a price about 1.55-1.65m. Buy in world 2 fally park, northwest of the little pond by the house...if you dont understand that just go directly north of the tree patch till you see someone saying somthing about whips.
  3. Well first off Jagex nerfed the willow price thing so they are like 12 gp each now so you shouldnt do that. Yew logs: 350-400 ea Bowstring: 150-175ea Total: 500-575 ea Yew longs 600-625 ea So you can make like 50-125gp each bow Id say. Also I would advice you to buy flax and spin it in lumbridge. With flax dropping to 75ea you would make more money plus get crafting exp. If you buy flax instead of bs you could make 150-200gp each bow instead of 50-125 ea. I hope this helps
  4. I only have 850k on that account and i'm not gonna drop trade, so I don't have any money to lose :( Well first off....It is not world 18. It is world 16 and I suggest you use it. Make the best runes you can till 33 and start then. With lvl 33 you get 4x airs so you wont lose as much money. Trades like this: You: 25 ess noted 2k Runner: 25 ess unnoted You can sell your airs for like 15-20gp each depending on who you sell to and you wont lose much money. You will gain lvls fairly fast until after lvl 45 when it slows down alot. Average cost of ess: 30-40gp each Average cost of airs: 15-20gp each Numbers may be different depending on trader. Buy ess for less and sell 20 ea you can make a profit sooner. Also I see air sellers selling for 10-15gp each now so you might want to mine your own ess or try to buy for like 25gp ea or less. Well since your member as far as I can tell...at lvl 44 stop doing airs and start using the abyss to rc nats. Big money to be made there.
  5. Hey, good luck with all of those goals. I wanted to also ask you a question...How long did it take you to get to 55 slayer?

You will never get any kind of ore from gem rocks, only gems. When you mine one of them you will get either an opal, a jade, a red topaz, a sapphire, an emerald, a ruby, or a diamond. This is random on which ones you get. From my knowlegde of mining them, I usually get more of opals, jades, or red topazes than anything else. Out of the ordinary gems I get more sappires than most, and emeralds, rubies are about the same and Diamonds being the rarest of all.

You need lvl 40 mining to be able to mine gem rocks. You get 65 mining exp per gem you mne from each rock. There are 7 rocks in Shilo village and 4 in the Lunar Isle mine. For access to Shilo gem mine you need to complete Jungle Potion quest and Shilo Village quest. For access to Lunar Isle Mine you need to complete The Fremennik Trials Quest, Lost City Quest, Rune Mysteries Quest, and Shilo Village Quest. From gem rocks you can get Opal, Jades, Red Topazes, Sapphires, Emeralds, Rubies, and Diamonds. You cannot get Dragonstone or Onyx from them. When mining regular rocks for ores and not gem rocks you should wear an amulet of glory for the increase change of getting a gem while mining. You can only get Sapphire-Diamonds this way. I hope this clears up anything to do with gems.
  8. Just to 70 smithing...you need to superheat 20,839 mith bars...thats alot of bars. Other than the 70 smith you would get lots of mage lvls. Just that many superheats and you get roughly 1.1m exp in mage. After 70 you need 67,226 addy superheats to get to 85. Roughly gaining 3.56m exp in mage as well has 85 smithing After that you can smelt and smith rune to gain lvls. You have also gained 4.66m mage exp which I dont know your current lvl but Id say it would put you at about 88 mage. I am not going to try to figure a profit b/c prices alway change... I hope you see how much superheating you would have to do and the possible benifits from it. 85 Smithing with 88 Mage. Crazy.
  9. Ive got to kill 15 bronze dragons for a slayer task....can I do it? If so, what should I use? Melee, Mage, or Range? Att: 70 Def: 59 Str: 64 Range: 52 Mage: 66 Hp: 65 Prayer: 46
  10. what if microsoft bought it? RS on the 360...or a game with major graphic updates on a disk for pc? I wonder what it would be like.
  11. Great Guide! Im gonna have to try some of these out...I think I might be high enough for some of them.
  12. Ok dont range in full rune...thats bad. I see ppl with 70+ range over by the ogres near castle wars. They are not bad exp but not the best. They either use magic short bow with steel-rune arrows or Rune crossbow with mith enchanted bolts, addy-rune regular bolts.
  13. Well since bolts are still in demand you can smith those. Buy or make your own bars and buy the feathers. Not bad exp and cash.
  14. Around 500 an hour if you run there from draynor and walk back. Also If you glory back to draynor instead of walk back, I believe you can craft 900-1100 an hour.
  15. 1. Id say herbs or coal as they are not too hard to sell and you could get good cash back. If you dont want to risk it on herbs then coal is your best bet, easy to sell and good cash. The other guy said Flax but I say NO. Why? b/c of all the autoers flax prices have fallen so much that it is hard to sell for a good profit. 2. Just go to the Island with an axe and cut maples. It is fairly close to the ship. Or Harpoon and fish for them.
  16. Also you could use both of these methods...One by making some cash and small exp crafting nats with the abyss and then using the money made from nat crafting...use Fast Free Laws world 66.
  17. 10 on maples seems good since your burning them all. The tree seeds you get from that could be worth alot...if your lucky enough to get good ones. Ive never up any on farming...but I heard it is not that good. You would be better off I think putting it on herbs and hope your lucky or mining and sell the coal 180-200ea.
  18. You get more and more airs as your rcing lvl goes up. 2x at 11 3x at 22 4x at 33 and so on. If you mine your own ess and craft them without runners you will make a nice profit from it.
  19. Seeing as how I just read this little piece I might have more to add. Bars----------Price Per---------Exp per Bar---------#gp per exp point Bronze Bar---50 Gpa-------------12.5-------------------4 Iron Bar-----200Gp ea-----------25---------------------8 Steel Bar----600Gp ea-----------37.5-------------------16 Mith Bar-----1.5k Ea------------50---------------------30 My prices may be off but you get the drift. Bronze is cheapest and Mith is the most expensive.
  20. Well, since your not worried about a profit, you could either make the best thing you can to lvl up or make loads of mith arrowheads and make arrows for range training. Also to expand on the range part, If you do Animal Magnetism quest you will get an Ava's Accumulator. If you dont already know, it will return ANY arrow you shoot, includes the mith ones you may make to train smithing. Now for the Numbers. To get you from 55 to 65 you will need: 11,186 Iron Bars 7,457 Steel Bars 5,593 Mith Bars And since you said you where just smithing not smelting you must buy those bars to actually get to 65....and I see quite a bit of money going down the drain if you buy, smith, and DONT sell. Now to continue on with the Mith arrows. We will round that 5,593 number to 5,600 bars to make it easy. 5,600 smiths into 84k arrow heads. If you do make arrows out of them you would also need 5,600 normal logs to fletch into shafts and 84k feathers. Mith bars are 1.4-1.6k each. Going with 1.5keach you would need to spend 8.4 Million gp if you bought all the bars at once. Normal logs are running up to 100 gp each, so I would cut my own. Feathers be easy and cheap I would buy at the lowest price I could get, like around 5gp each. 1k mith bars = 1.5M 15k Feathers = 75k 1k normal logs = 100k(If bought not cut) Total = 1.675M You could use or sell for around 65gp each arrow which would NOT give you a profit but you would make some of your cash back. 15K mith arrows goes for around 750k to 975k depending on who you sell to. If you Dont sell anything you make you will be out of alot of cash....and by alot I mean possibly 10M+. Good luck with your 65 goal tho. Sorry for such a long post but my mind is crazy when I have to figure out numbers and whatnot.
  21. I know when you wear it, it picks up steel objects. My question is, Does it pick up arrows of other metals that you shoot. Like I would use my mage short and shoot rune arrows...will it pick those up for me?
  22. Isnt World 16 25 each trade not 26. Might need to recalculate your numbers.
  23. Ok your definitions may be correct, But as I see AFK combat training is different from what you stated. AFK combat training is still being at the keyboard to me. Example, I would go to orges by cw to train and they are agressive. I would stand in one spot so they can attack me and I can kill them but while I kill them I would browse forums and whatnot. Now I like this kind of training but I dont know the best spot either so I cant help you on your question as I am waiting for some1 to post a good answer.
  24. Hmm Im going to tell you to make airs. Airs are used in combat magic spells. If I was you I would use combat spells for hp exp along with magic exp. For Example, The spell Wind Blast...Requires 3 Airs and 1 Death and is the highest spell in f2p that uses just Airs and another Rune. It is fairly decent exp and since you will make airs you wont need to buy them. You will only have to buy deaths which arnt to hard to get. As for addy and mith....I use fally mines. They are not to crowded in f2p worlds with not alot of ppl. I just world hop after I get the ores I want. I have used Lummy swamp mine and it is fairly good. I would only Superheat ores down there tho b/c it is a good distance from a bank.
  25. Woodcut willow-yews, Mine Iron Coal or Mith, Fish lobbies, Mine Pure ess and runecraft nats.
