That's something I'd like to hear from some official source. Mustaine got kicked from Metallica because of some personal things (well, it was said the reason was alcohol, but if you really got kicked from the 80s Metallica because of alcohol, you must have bathed in it) and there are some Metallica parodies in some of Megadeth's songs. Listen to "go to hell" for example, released at least on Hidden Treasures. There's also a lot of similarities with some of their songs. It's understandable that their old (Kill 'em All and Ride the Lightning) have influenced many Megadeth's songs, after all Mustaine played on KEA and probably trained with Metallica playing RTL songs. Anyways what I know, Mustaine seems to be "worshipping" Metallica and Lars&James have hit him down time after time. Anyways Metallica has gone so commercial now that I can imagine a title "Old Grudges gone, Mustaine with Metallca after tens of years" at news papers. I remember hearing about him and why he got kicked.....I guess it would be interesting if he joined up.

Exactly, its improbable to think there ISN'T a planet somewhere out there with the same characteristics of our own.

People go there to let out some heat, not Off Topic. And my patience has been wearing thin. I've had my patience tested out multiple times lately this year by newer posters. It ends here now. So it comes to this... the person in the 'right' has to apologize, and the person in the 'wrong' has to keep arguing a never-ending battle. Too bad you don't have a brain Poopingman. You made fun of someone, that can cause a fight. Things that can cause a fight are considered "combative." It can be over if you accept responsibility and quit posting to baselessly defend yourself. Its over, why are you, of all people, continuing this, after me AND Shadow came to a concensus on it. I wasn't trying to start a fight, and nothing you say is going to change my mind, we obviously just have differing opinions on the post. So this is it, it ends, any further posts aimed at me will not be greeted warmly....this is enough lol

Of course I'd think you were aiming your statements at me. You're not a usual on these boards and I have no idea who you are. Sigh...I can't believe I have to explain your logical flaws like your 5 years old. 1) I did not make a post asking for only the answer of one person because it was a personal fight, therefore, I have no reason to take it to PMs. 2) I am not the only one who brought it up. MPC and Stevester both made remarks about it as well. 3) There certainly was something wrong before I said something. The response to your post had already been made before I came into the public discussion. Was that clear enough for you? Three people on one page said you were in the wrong. Accept it, and move on. Since your post was public, it affects everyone. Anyone who has ever used the word "retire" has the right to be insulted by it. If you want to make it a personal argument, do it through PMs. Frankly, we would all like it if you left your uncalled for attacks in your inbox. Your definition of retire must vary greatly from mine....and I expect this to be the last of these personal attacks against me. Speaking of PMs, how about you take these petty arguments against me over PMs, instead of hijacking the thread....there was nothing wrong until you decided to make a big stink out of it...

I don't see shadow starting anything in his post, it was you who indirectly refered to his. Anyways, I smell a hijacked thread. You're kidding me? There was a huge thread about this whole retire thing in the "Rants" board a week or two ago....the exact same thing was said there. I don't care if someone posted it earlier in the thread, the mere fact that people are trying to incite arguments by piecing two irrelevant posts together is ridiculous...... I don't know how long you've been around TIF, but people have been saying "retired" forever and just because they say it on this thread does not mean they were inciting a fight. For instance, I never read the rant boards. If I had said it then your response would have been insulting to me plain and simple (and I have used the word retired in the past). You started this, now you can end it by just letting it go. The damage has already been done My earlier post was made....quite a while ago, in fact, I didn't even check the thread again until today, finding out that he snuck in a derogatory comment at me, then I made my rebuttal, and it exploded from there, in fact, none of the people arguing here had anything to do with the first scuffle....seems uncalled for. Lol I love how people try to sound important, "retire" then come back...and again......and again. Anyway, yeah since early 2001...had a span for about 6 months I didn't play because I got hacked...other than that, yeah I still play.
