First of all, hello everyone, some of you might know me, most probably won't. :wink: Let's start at the start: I had wanted to try my luck solo maging for some time (mainly for fun, money isn't really the main focus) but for that I needed some funds. (ironic isn't it? :-w ) I'm not the poorest person but I like to spend my cash when it comes in, be it on items or skills. Right, now on Saturday I went to the barrows hoping I'd get some cash after buying 80 prayer. I was hoping for alot of runes cause I don't get too many items anyway but lo and behold, I got this beauty: After a quick trip to w2 I was 5.2 million gold up and decided it was time to do what I had wanted, my solo mage experiment. I bought a bunch of supplies, got a defence level and was finally ready to go to ... bed. Yes even a god like me sleeps! *ahem* But seriously now, here are pictures of my significant stats (well all of them cause I'm lazy like that :oops: ), the supplies I have for this experiment and what I'll be wearing. I'll be using both Guthans and Veracs probably so put em both up there. The gray-ish pots are antidotes (+) who supposedly last a while longer than superanties. Now then, the main part.. Here should come a list of all the trips I'll be doing with those supplies and some calculations underneath. [hide=Trip #1]First trip of the series, not a very good one either.. Didn't adjust pots well, brought too few anties, spinos were being annoying the drops stayed out and I had to tele early because of a lvl 121 3-iteming lurer managing to lure both Prime and Supreme on the spot where they'd always hit me both.. Thanks to Arvid75 for suiciding. Starting invent (abit late but meh): Teleing invent: The (very easy and very lame) clue Rexy dropped me: Amount of Rex kills: 28 Amount of spells casted: 857 Average amount of spells per Rex: 30.61 Amount of Sara brew doses used: 38 Average amount of doses per Rex: 1.36 Amount of Super restore doses used: 32 Average amount of doses per Rex: 1.14 Costs: - Death Rune x 857 = 257,100 gp - Mind Rune x 3428 = 51,420 gp - Sara brew dose x 38 = 28,500 gp - Super restore dose x 32 = 100,000 gp - Suicider = 100,000 gp Total costs = 537,020 gp Profits: Neglectable.. I expected abit more from my Guthans as I didn't heal that much but oh well. Also noticed I still need to pray alot or I get murdered by Spinos, so I'll adapt my invent next time. Got my first real drop about 2/3 through the trip, sadly it was only a Warrior ^^. Thanks to Arvid again for suiciding, this time free of charge <3. Starting invent: Warrior ring: Teleing invent: Amount of Rex kills: 34 Amount of spells casted: 1125 Average amount of spells per Rex: 33.09 Amount of Sara brew doses used: 48 Average amount of doses per Rex: 1.41 Amount of Super restore doses used: 44 Average amount of doses per Rex: 1.29 Costs: - Death Rune x 1125 = 337,500 gp - Mind Rune x 4500 = 67,500 gp - Sara brew dose x 48 = 36,000 gp - Super restore dose x 44 = 146,652 gp Total costs = 587,652 gp Profits: - Warrior ring = 400,000 gp - Rock-shell legs = 80,000 gp - 200 Coal ores = 32,000 gp Total profits = 512,000 gp Trip balance: -75,652 gp Lure attempts: 3[/hide] [hide=Trip #3]Best trip of the series, being the longest, by far the most enjoyable and the most profitable. I was in a hurry to hop with a team so quickly grabbed a bunch of stuff and headed out, which turned out to be pretty good. As I was praying most of the time I don't think I went under 40 hp even once, though the numerous food drops helped alot, I got like 5 swordfish and 2 bass drops :mrgreen: All turned out well, I got a Dragon Axe about halfway through so a nice profit. In the end a guy logged into my world, and for once he wasn't a complete idiot like most of the people that do, so I told him I had one kill left and he could have my world after. Started very well as I got drop #3 on the third kill, a Berserker Ring, which also happens to be my 100th personal drop :D. It was the only drop of that trip but also got some other thingies and nearly used up all of my casts :P . Something funny also happened, about halfway through 2 mages dressed in half-decent gear rushed in, I politely asked them to hop but they refused and were being rude. We killed 3 rexes with the 3 of us and I got all 3 kills (99 magic ftw), the next kill one of them was afk or something, got hammered by Rex and nearly died. I can offer up to 100,000 gp if you want to, but only if you really know what you're doing.. Made a bankpic for my rate this topic yesterday but it's already out of date lol, worth 7m more already O:) But since this isn't about the value anyway it doesn't really matter :oops: I like dividing the width of my bank into 2 columns and organising that way, makes it look better imo. I usually have a bunch of junk (lower dosed pots and drops I can't class in there) at the bottom of my bank and whenever I need something that has a fixed spot, I swap it with the nubbly items.

Woke up and my cousin was watching vids on Youtube, one of them had someone getting a D chain from the Kq from it so I wanted to Kq aswell. Went solo and then asked Chenw2 to come with me as duo is more fun. Not expecting anything good, as I had done 650+ trips with only a D2H on kill #20 we went off and on kill 7: Yeah baby! Dragon Chain #1 !!!

As today is my birthday I decided to get my santa back =] Bia_bf generously gave me the 2.5m I needed as a present :P I decided to make a bankpic and my cousin (Mr Skill0rz) made me turn it into a complete topic about my rs career. It's still the most amount of drops and the highest value in drops I ever got in one trip. The rest of the team also got another D axe, Berserker, Seers and Archer totalling our trip over 18m I believe. One of my goals atm, some off the most tedious ones left though (rc, agility, mining and smithing, aswell as farming and hunter but those are easy :P ) Very nice :) I'm envious

NEWSFLASH! Genius donated 141 (I think it was) Strange Fruits to my collection, am up to 690 now I believe, still headed for 1k :P If anyone else has unwanted fruits I'll gladly take them of their hands O:)

Even with my noobish melee stats I can easily down Supreme fast :wink: Ofcourse higher combat helps but I as 108 (with melees of a 105 or so) even got to drop restores + food for my mage so :P In 3 duo trips we got 2 Warriors, an Archer, 2 Zerkers and a D Axe O:) Gonna watch vid now, it's fun to see :

Considering I used chinchompas for quite a chunk of the xp it's quite high. I got most of 89-99 with them which is nearly 8.2 million exp, but let's round down. 8 million exp / ~200 exp per chinchompa = ~40k chinchompas Average price being 700-750 each I say I spent just under 30m on chinchompas alone. Add to that the large number of prayer pots and a bunch of range pots/superantipoisons/.. and you'll be looking at around 32 million gold. Quite alot when you think about it : No regrets though, rather have 99 ranged than 32 million cash in my bank (though I wouldn't mind either :XD: ). Thanks to everyone who posted aswell, I appreciate it :P
