You'll be using a full ppot/restore for every chest atleast if you're gonna pray on all of them, which is kinda overkill but yeah.. If you're gonna camp you're better off taking guthans (camp as in do 10+ chests at once), Verac won't last you quite as long. And if you're gonna take Verac anyway, atleast bring a decent melee weapon like a whip to get kill count/kill Karil..

Weapon: Yew short obviously, msb after that till whatever level you want. Iron knives/darts work well too, using zammy book as shield. Body: Well highest dhide you can wear. Shield: None if bow, zammy book > guthix book if knives/darts Legs: Highest dhide.. Gloves: Any rfd gloves with more range att than vambs > best dhide vambs you can wear > Combat bracelet Boots: Ranger boots > Snakeskin boots Ring: Archers ring > Ring of wealth (I suppose it can't hurt) > Ring of life (yeah..)

I'm sorry but I find that utter bs.. :-# First of all I never said I would only buy skills, I just asked for opinions on what to do with my cash. I can't buy 99 hp yet I'll probably get it anyway, I can't really buy defence yet I'm training it aswell. Just cause I have to money to train the expensive skills doesn't mean I don't train the others.. :uhh: About the cooking, I got cooking as my first 99 because I like cooking, not because it was easy or because I could get it.. :? This was way before 99 capes came out and the 99 hype started, I was in the top 3k to get 99 cooking :roll: Most people now get 99 cooking or fletching for a 99/to get a cape/to trim a cape, not because they like the skill. That's why I probably won't get 99 fletching anytime soon, cause it bores me to death..

Won't buy D chain, have Dharok and have done all of those alot, I need a goal to keep me focused lol :P If I'm meleeing (not that often) it's always on defensive, I've been getting a few levels slowly but steadily, but I won't nolife 99 defence :P And about the fletching part, I'm trying to find something to keep me playing, not to make me quit :-w Hmm.. I suppose I could give it a shot but only spending 15m on 99 herby seems kinda impossible =s Usually when I get unids at that price I get huge stacks of lower herbs that I sell at a loss and very few valuable/good herbs. Besides, my patience when buying/selling things is kinda short and I usually buy overpriced and sell lower :(

Don't see much point in that as I use all the sets except for Torags and Dharoks pretty often, so I'd just waste bankspace :oops: It wouldn't be ofcourse, I'd love 99 hp but.. The fastest (and only buyable) way I can think of to get alot of xp pretty fast would be to use chinchompas or ice spells at the ape atoll monkeys. But considering I already have a bunch of xp past 99 in those respective skills, spending many millions on 2 (not even) hitpoints levels seems quite the waste, considering I'll get it anyway sooner or later, and will regret spending so much on it. Indeed :-w , when I was a lower level barrows made me my first riches which led me to the point I am at now :) That's one way to look at it, though I see it differently. I really only play this game for fun, even though most people probably won't believe that. This means I'd rather not do anything against my will, aka getting 99 mining for example, seeing I'm having trouble to get 70. I'll be happy if I get 70 in the skills I don't really like and probably will get the ones I do enjoy all over 80 and so on. The supplies you mentioned are in my bank cause I like being able to do what I want whenever I want. If I feel like going woodcutting, I like to know I won't have to spend 10 minutes trying to buy a rune axe. About the herby that's probably true but the feeling I had that made me love the skill has gone since that update. I still find it one of the better 99s but unless I ever get filthy rich, I doubt I'll get it that much higher. I'll probably farm some toadflax off my seeds and use my nests from MTK to get 85 with them. And about the construction part, I doubt I'd have any money left after herblore :P, let alone have the 100m I'd need for 99 con. I wouldn't mind having 99 defence indeed, but the problem is I really don't like to melee anymore. I think I've probably gotten more xp from Defence-casting my spells the past few weeks/months than I have melee'd in that time. Only times I really melee is on Supreme, barrows and random slayer tasks I sometimes enjoy. Add to that I'm way to much of a [kitty] to actually stake such amounts of money and yeah :oops: Thanks to everyone for the posts/rates/ideas, greatly appreciated :) I'm going to keep my cash till I get an idea I like alot, maybe if dragon bones go down again I might get prayering

If it was melee only I don't get how Karils max hit could be 20 =s he's a ranger.. On the other hand Ahrim lists as 11 while his mage max hit is 20 aswell. Very nice guide but I think the feature is abit too buggy to trust 100% :P

Well the main reason why I posted this thread is to ask people's opinions on what I should spend my money on, though you can always rate if if you want :) I have been trying to find out what to do about this for quite some time so I'm turning to you now :-k Right so here's my bank: Please note a few things: * Nope, I won't buy you that green mask/ranger set/fury/.. that you've always wanted, nor will I give you plain cash, please don't ask. * I'm not a fan of rares (anymore), the santa I have was a present from a good friend of mine, and I promised not to have it leave my account. * There isn't really an item I can think of that I really need, but suggestions are always welcome. * I tend to buy alot of things that are kinda cool for a day or two, then end up selling them after a week and losing money on them. (examples: Master wand + Mage's book, Infinity, 3rd age mage, Dark Bow, Dragonfire shield, ..) * I'd rather spend my money on skills than on items as I feel I don't really need anything else. Following this, my current stats: Again,I have thought about on which skills I could spend money on and still haven't decided what to do :oops: * Attack: Don't train it. * Strenght: Don't train it. * Defence: Can't think of anything more I need. * Range: Have 99 already. * Prayer: I was considering going for 99 prayer, then Kings Ransom came out and bones jumped to 2k ea, making me 30m short of 99 :cry: * Magic: Have 99. * Runecrafting: Don't see the point on spending money on it, it's a skill I don't really like and most likely won't use it past 70 anyway. * Construction: Can't afford 99 and there aren't many new worthwhile things past my current level (72). * Hitpoints: My biggest goal atm, I suppose I could spend another 30m on chinchompas and get 99 hp with that but I'm quite sure I'll regret that after :? . * Agility: Can't really buy it. * Herblore: Had a goal of 99 but gave up after Jagex introduced Make-X for pots, I wanted 99 herblore not 99 fletching costing 100m. * Thieving: Can't really buy. * Crafting: The thought crossed my mind to get it up, but remembering how much trouble it was to tan the hides this isn't my favourite. * Fletching: Won't bother being the 25000th to get 99 in it, maybe if I ever need total lvls easily. * Slayer: I have most the things I could need, except for a cannon, but seeing it gives range xp (which I don't really need) and no hp xp (which I need badly), it's not high on my list. * Hunter: Can't really buy. * Mining: Can't really buy. * Smithing: Not my favourite, have 70 banked in gold which is enough for now. * Fishing: Can't really buy. * Cooking: Have it 99. * Firemaking: Not sure I'd have the patience for 99 in it and it doesn't really cost all that much, under 5m if I were to do it with maples and even less seeing my kingdom gets them for me. * Woodcutting: Can't really buy. * Farming: I'm not much of a farmer, just farming the seeds from MTK serves me well enough. Biggest thing I miss is the way how I used to play as a newbie. I used to have so much fun venturing into the varrock sewers killing mean skeletons and ghosts to be able to wield that ownage addy scimmy! I remember the day how I 'merchanted' my way from 130k coins into a full rune set, I was so happy that day. It was fun looking forward to becoming members, with so many things to do and so many more things to discover. Now I've done pretty much everything there is to do (few exceptions) and that magical feeling is gone.

I done 381 trips without anything good -_- Took me 648 for my first :-w Gratz nub

Nice prayer lvl :thumbsup: Gratz on 2000 total, really nice archievement. Keep those combat stats like this as long as possible, they're ftw. (except maybe get 99 mage)

Main goals are 99 herblore and hp atm, will take some time though as I have alot of other things on my mind. Attack: 86/86; don't really care bout it. Strenght: 86/86; same as above^ Defence: 90/99; max out tank + love the cape. Range: 99/99 Prayer: 80/80; good for now. Magic: 100/99; get rank under 1k or so, I'll get that anyway seeing I mage alot. Runecrafting: 62/70; needed for 70+, this is gonna kill me. Construction: 72/72; leaving at that for now, need my money atm. Hitpoints: 96/99; max out tank + love the cape. Agility: 63/70; needed for 70+ Herblore: 84/99; main goal atm, really hope I'll make it as it's my favourite skill. Thieving: 71/71; leaving at that for now. Crafting: 80/84; getting 84 sometime for full black dhide, not atm though. Fletching: 83/85; lame skill, just easy total levels. Slayer: 75/80; randomly train it when I'm bored. Hunter: 64/70; needed for 70+ Mining: 64/70; needed for 70+, will kill me too. Smithing: 62/70; somehow my lowest skill (by exp), will get up sometime. Fishing: 76/80; no blatant reason. Cooking: 99/99; first 99, long before capes came out and the 99-hype started. Firemaking: 76/80; no blatant reason. Woodcutting: 84/90: fun thing to do from time to time. Farming: 69/70; one last level, I'll get it sometime.

First of all I didn't mean that, if you thought I did, please excuse me. I was going to congratulate you on that awesome level but couldn't help but notice him. It was not aimed towards you at all, I merely wanted to point that out, since most dk lurers don't exactly act friendly towards us. This might not have been the best place to post but yeah, I haven't seen any posts of him. Once again congratulations on 99 construction! (that was the main reason to post but yeah) @Autist: I don't consider my post to be immature for telling the truth. I never ment to blame 0xpx0 for it but just seeing the name of a well known dk lurer just looked strange. If trying to kill someone just to get pixels over a game isn't sad then I don't know what is. I play for fun, not to get recognition, money or whatever else drives players, and dagannoth kings is one of the more fun things on runescape for me. Having someone deliberately try to kill you and ruin your fun is sad, in my opinion anyway. I agree the place wasn't the best to post it but oh well. Excuses to the people that got offended by my post and again congratulations to the author for his achievement, nice work.
