First update in awhile :). I have since my last update gotten several Hunter levels (penguin points-- it was the first time I've done them. They were quite fun!), a Summoning level (Tears of Guthix), and I have mined my 6000 iron, and I am in the process of smelting it. I have 500 smelted. Today I got 14k exp from a star (me and four other people). It was very nice, and took about 30 minutes. So here I am on world 99 in Edgeville, smelting away, heading up to the wilderness for a wave of stars now and then. Pics of levels coming soon. -Dutty

Today, the extent of my RuneScape playing was getting on, mining a wave of stars (I saw a level 9 for the second time ever!), and getting off. I got 13k Mining exp, which is better than if I hadn't gotten on at all, I suppose. I still have 1000 iron to mine, however, and my schedule is going to be packed until next weekend (largely with homework), so don't expect any major updates :P. I will be doing Tears of Guthix, so there will hopefully be a picture added to my crappy blog sometime this week. I am making a pretty exciting entry later tonight on my real-life blog, however, so I'll be sure to post a link to that when I get a chance to / remember to. -Dutty EDIT: Forgot to say that I have the bank pictures, and I just need to edit them together.

So this morning I mined 39 runite (2 banks) in 1.2 hours, which is about 500k/hour-- not that bad for my first hour, as 500k-700k is usually a rate I get when I'm a couple hours in and have 8-12 worlds on timers. Now, however, I'm going to a car show that my cousin is in, and I don't know when I'll be back. When I am, I'll probably just mine iron for the rest of the day. Thanks Dint :P. I got on a bit today, but not as much as yesterday. I mined a couple of stars and got my iron count up to ~4750/6000. I don't know if I'll get the iron done by Sunday night. It depends on how bored of RuneScape I get tonight and how much time I can get on tomorrow (busy day-- going to a car show). Going after stars also takes away from iron time, but it is a nice break, so I'll continue to do it. I've also been meaning to get a couple of loads of rune done, but we all know how boring that is, so I don't know when I'll ever get around to it. -Dutty

Bump :). Last night, I decided to go to sleep :P. Today, I plan on getting up to 4500/6000 iron for smithing, and then go mine a load of rune ore. I'll be mining stars throughout the day. After the load of rune I'll probably mine iron, almost finishing it. Also, I'm looking for a merchanting cc that has a good number of positive merches. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to post. -Dutty

Thanks :). I mined another 600 iron before I ran into miners with lower levels and faster connections than me. That brings my iron count today to about 1600, and my exp count to 61.5k for the day (including the star I mined earlier). Now, since there are only two full worlds left (it's getting late), and both are taken by miners, I'm going to do something else until worlds are full again (tomorrow). I'll either mine a load of rune or get a head start on smelting the 6k iron. Or go to bed :P. I'm exhausted. -Dutty

I just mined 1000 iron in one sitting, bringing my total up to about 3000/6000 iron. During the latter part of that session, I decided to track my exp, and did pretty well. I averaged about 28k/hour with distractions-- that is, I wasn't focused solely on mining. I also had to fight for my spot twice, which slows me down quite a bit. Without distractions / fighting for my spot, I probably would have gotten 30-35k/hour, which isn't that bad at all considering I am banking. 3000 iron to go. :P Here's what I'm listening to: No Stars Over Bethlehem ~ Protest the Hero Sorry about the AMV... all I could find :P. I'm actually missing that concert this very moment, they're in Seattle (45 minute drive). Sadly, no one could go, and I can't drive myself / go on my own :(. -Dutty

Thanks Mario ^-^! Also, I should probably post what I'm doing at the moment :P! Right now I'm mining 6000 iron to get my Smithing to 70. I have about 2000 at the moment. Depending on how much I play this weekend, I might get the 6000 by Monday, but maybe not. After I get and smelt the iron into bars, I'll have to play Stealing Creation to get some clay hammers so that I can get to 70 on the bars. Depending on how much I play, I might have 70 Smithing by next weekend. -Dutty

Introduction / About Me Hi, I'm Dutty4u. You can call me Dutty-- we're all friends here :P. I am 15 years old and live in Washington, USA. I have been playing RuneScape since August of 2005-- almost four years (my stats certainly do not reflect that!). I joined TiF a few months afterward, in December of 2005. I have previously been on the Tip.It Events Team, but had to resign (not nearly enough time to devote), and I am not the guy that has thousands of posts, but I try to make my posts quality posts. I used to take RuneScape very seriously, and played it WAY too much, but I have since become a casual player-- I play when I have time, and although my progress is slow, it is progress nonetheless. The point of this blog is to inform you of that progress, as slow as it may be. Here's a bit of info on my real life: As I said, I am 15 years old and live in Washington State, USA. I am currently in the 9th grade (frosh!), and plan to attend a university when I graduate. I would like to get a job working with computers-- that's all I've narrowed it down to! I love gaming, computers, reading, and writing (although my writing is terrible). Two of the most important things in my life (that aren't people) are water polo and music. Water polo is a sport that I recently discovered, and, sorry for sounding conceited, but I'm damn good at it. I was invited by my high school team coach to join his club team and will be attending the Junior Olympics this summer if I can get enough money (the trip costs a few hundred dollars :( ). I'm extremely glad that I decided to sign up for water polo on a whim just over a year ago, as it not only revealed a hidden talent that I have, but it is also exercise that I enjoy, which I needed very badly. As for music, it has always been a passion of mine. I have an acoustic guitar that I need to get around to learning how to play, and I am constantly listening to music. I will probably frequently post what I am listening to when I post updates about RuneScape. That's all I can think of, although I will probably be adding more to this section later. For whoever said this, the handbook is not fake. I've seen it, JAGeX does make one. It's lame, but it's there. And I think that JAGeX said a noob was a low-level or new player because it would look bad if they said "Noob: A flipping idiot." this is a fairly new thread, and I've used it several times, for whips, ammo, cannons, and now, god pages. Very useful, but could look a little neater. Keep it up-to-date if anything changes, this could be a well-known thread in the future. -Dutt
