Thought I'd better bump this, I have three trips left before I go on holiday early Saturday, so I'll hit over 130 solo kills hopefully. I really want a hilt soon.

You're just sinking to his level no offence, I don't think anyone appreciates the amount of flames this forum gets sometimes but why would it encoruage him to post nicely if his genuinely decent achievement got flamed as well?

I hope you can say you had fun whist doing it, sticking at something for that long must have gotten boring at some point. Keep it up, and good luck with 138 combat.

I would have in the past, but now my internet time is very limited and these trips could take up my whole day. They are fun, but in the past I've died from lag and been pretty pissed at some of the jerks that tag along.

You'll never solve this argument. You get people that complain that it does absolutely nothing and then those that claim it is the best thing since sliced bread. No one has ever provided a conclusive test of 10k or even 100k monsters, so it is a silly thing to discuss.

Just got 12 solo kills at my latest trip, was really awesome. I am now at 70 solo kills total!! :ohnoes: :D

Just got ten solo Zil kills in a trip, was extremely laggy and my terrorbird died on the last kill so I could've gotten way more... I got three brew/rest drops, and I teled out with 9 rests left in my inventory, wtf! I'm up to 41 solo kills now, going very smoothly (except for lag all the time it seems), maybe even an SS or a hilt soon. :D

rune c'bow blows and you cant bring familiars into cave and you might want to mention the explorer ring in your guide, +3 pray isnt nothing. Neither is +1, which is the boost the ring actually provides.

I did the new Diary and stuff, back to soloing Sara now. I'm thinking of taking the new ring as it provides +1 Prayer, some run replenishment and the opportunity to (low) alch some rune drops from kc I'd otherwise leave out. Not really sure, ROL is good for emergencies and ROW would boost drop rate. Gah. #-o

I don't think i'd be able to get many kills? My range/def isn't high enough. :| Meh, you won't really be able to do any well without decent Ranged and Defence so if you think that is what is holding you back you should raise them a bit. 90+ Range and Defence for soloing imo.

Sara, Armadyl and Bandos are all good for you. :ugeek:
