What else are we supposed to do? I can't sit back and watch people mindlessly complain about Jagex's hard work, from now I am stating my opinion. I have let things past me without saying anything for too long.

Stop macroers? (For a while at least)
Then they would just be programmed to speak. I think this is an excellent idea, just needs a bit of fine tuning. :)

I was stating my opinion, agility is such an easy skill to train but by the sound of the whining a lot of people disregard it. I like the fact Jagex puts in messages that hint that people with higher agility will have an easier time doing the quest. I personally believe Jagex didn't want to change the quest, but that is just my opinion. I am just worried, that is all.

Jagex will always fold to whiners :shame: I really don't understand how that emoticon is appropriate but anyway I'll ignore it and carry on. Isn't that a bit sad? Jagex should have complete control over their game. If I recall correctly this is the first time they have actually caved in to people whinging, I hope it doesn't happen again. Making a quest a bit easier for lower levels is one thing but if Jagex don't have a backbone the game could go bottoms up. Imagine what the core of a game essentially controlled by a 12 year old could become. I don't won't to think about the uzi wielding Barbarians. I DON'T WANNA! :uhh:

I don't half feel sorry for Jagex... They get a ton of abuse from players whining the quest is too hard because their agility is too low. Jagex does a decent thing: apologises about making a 'mistake' (although I believe they might have felt pressured into it) and then makes the quest a little bit easier for everyone. Then what do they get? A forum full of sarcastic suggestions which completely humiliates them. Jagex can't win. :(

Spicy Stew Guide with Statistics
This guide is AOW material, absolutely brilliant. I can't fault your data and you have presented your information amazingly. =D> Just one thing, it says that the spices can't be put together like potions. I am sure they can, I usually take the one dose one and the three doses ones together to make four doses. Might need to check that I am not 100% sure. :?

Saru's Guide on how to do Barrows. Every way included!
This is a very good guide and I think you have done a superb job with it. However, I think for me the method and equipment isn't quite right. At the moment I am experimenting with different methods and this one doesn't work for me. I am sorry to be so overly critical, after all it is a REALLY good guide. 10/10.

broke something irl while doing quest?
61 Agility, potted to 64. Took me three tries, before the update. : I never had a problem with the handholds in MEP2 either.

.::11 April 2007 - Olaf's Quest Slippery Bridge::.
Pfft took me three tries with 61 Agility before Jagex changed it... Ah well, as long as they don't start messing around with quests like MEP2 and Underground Pass I'll be happy. :)

[Hart|Blog] [93/99 Ranged! 51 Ruby hit, D Boots #28!]
Thanks, I don't plan to train my firemaking to 99 until I have completed all my other goals though. Just did the latest quest, going to try my hand for a Brine Sabre or two now. 8-)

Brine Rat Droplist
So I guess you were all expecting the next whip, huh? Jeez you won't be satisfied unless it has a strength bonus of +150 and the ability to drain your opponents prayer. No, we're sick of Jagex, the morons releasing constant low level/pure weapons.  They're the stupidest company for making their community happy I've ever seen in my entire life. :x How many level 40 weapons is this now...975? Compared to...5? Level 70 weapons. I really didn't want to say this, but you seem to complain about every update. If Jagex's attitude towards their customers bothers you that much just quit. It would be a shame to see such a great player leave because of something that trivial, but to be honest I really can not see how your whining is going to help. You want more high level armour? Create an idea, go post it on the Official Forums and hope for the best. These things take time, without thinking about it enough a powerful weapon could break the game.

10 April 2007 - Olaf's Quest
im already 55 def... and its nearly a combat lvl for me... oh of course; pures noob -.- Some people may think 70 def is enough for them ? because it's the highest def requirement for any kind of armor, and therefore they don't want to get higher combat lvls if that doesn't enable them to use new armory. so shhh No need to call him a noob, he was asking a perfectly reasonable question. I am looking forward to doing this quest when I have some free time, I might wait until the crowds die down first before I go get a Brine Sabre or two, though.

Just take a look at the Suggestions board...

What makes a good player?
like you said killin it by yourself is a more of an achievement, thats the only way im looking at it. i dont have a problem with going with my friends and splitting up the earnings of the chains. i dont really like doing it alone honestly, i like being with my friends and teams. i just think that knowing you have your own independence makes a good runescape player. im very friendly and have 2 many if u wanna b honest, but i dont use them as my safety rope. thats about it. Ok you made a good point there about not using friends as a safety rope, I guess I misinterpeted what you were saying earlier. Independence is a good thing, but I think friends are what makes RuneScape such a popular game. I was just sharing my opinion on what makes a good player, obviously different people value different qualities as 'better'. I shouldn't have been so quick to criticise your views, I apologise.

What makes a good player?
Umm....are you talking to me? Because Wilcher didn't say anythin related to that... No it was definitely aimed at Wilcher. Here is the quote:
-
What makes a good player?
Wilcher, what is wrong with you? Is your friend list simply a place to store names of those who sell you items, or do you actually have friends? Being a good player (in my opinion) has NOTHING to do with your stats. To be honest, I really couldn't care less if my best RS mate couldn't take on another person in the wilderness. I care so much more that I know I can go KQing with him carrying the knowledge that if I die, he will pick up my stuff. Sure, kill the Kalphite Queen by yourself is more of an achievement and more profitable, but just knowing the fact there is someone on the other end of an internet connection you can trust is heart warming. MMORPG - Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playeing Game (I think. :P) I am not using this as a personal attack on you, I am just stating my point loud and clear. Friends > Pixels. :
