Anybody else got this back since the last update ? It happens when fishing and you choose a fishing spot then as you approach the spot you slide. Happens when hunting also, pick the trap to pickup and as you approach it you slide. This glitch was fixed but since the last update it is back. Anybody else getting it ?

Not noticed that one, but the stop and slide thing is back. Walk a couple of steps stop and slide.....

Probaly the same as some of the fishing XP claims, I have seen 60k - 70k an hour claimed at the old method Barbarian fishing, and people who say thay get 37k - 40k an hour at monkfish. I was never that slow at fish and cut at Barabrian and could not get anywhere near the figures claimed. I have fished hard at monkfish and if I get 30k - 34k an hour I'm lucky. All people say about my fishing XP is that I must be slower and they can get 37k at monks without really trying. I think people are either stretching the truth to get a name for themselves or they hit the screen real hard for an hour for high XP but could not keep it up over time. Claims made of XP gained can never be proved unless you actually sit with the person. Written claims cannot be proved nor can screen shots tell the truth, Photoshop etc, vids can also be fiddled. Sorry this does not answer your question, I cannot help jumping on XP claims made.

Hi My Attack is 94, Strength 90 & Defence 79 but I was wondering what would be the better way to train these stats if starting again? IE: Train Attack first then bring up Strength and lastly Defence, that sort of thing.

You want that cape fast then Trout and Salmon is the way to go.......

For Fast fishing XP fish Trout & Salmon at the river West of the Fishing Guild at the spots between the bridge and the wall. Trade your fish to Rasolo the trader north of this spot. No running around required at this spot nor concentration really unlike Shilo where you have to keep finding fishing spots.

Fish Trout & Salmon at the river West of the Fishing Guild, fishing spots between the wall and bridge , when full run north to a trader called Rasolo and sell your fish for a little GP. You get fast fishing XP and no running about for spots as at Shilo ? I have always disputed the amount of XP people state for Barbarian also, thing is now Barbarian is not as fast as it was for XP since cut X was introduced, its still not bad though using Cut x, and you get small amounts of XP for Strength, Agility and Cooking. I switch between this spot Barbarian and Monks to cut the boredom of doing one thing all the time...

FASTEST XP = Trout and Salmon fishing at the river west of the fishing guild, trading your fish to the trader Rasolo north of fishing spot faster than Shilo. Do not know where you get the 50k an hour figure from for Shilo.... Barbarian no longer as good since cut x, people say drop fishing Barbarian can fetch you upto 50k plus an hour, I tried got nowhere near it.

Just fish Trout & Salmon at river west of Fishing Guild, faster XP than Shilo, just sell your fish to the trader north of spot called Rasolo....

Just said that but better spot where I describe, better faster XP there :)

Get yourself a fly fishing rod, shop in Catherby, get some feathers, either by killing chickens or buying from GE. Get yourself over to the river by the bridge west of the fishing guild and fish Trout & Salmon, sell your fish to Rasolo the trader north of the fishing spot. Gp you get for your fish you can use to buy more feathers. This is fast fishing XP and that is all.... Also faster than Shilo and no quest to fish there, all fishing spots real close together so no running around either.

When you Barbarian fish, do you fish and drop or fish and cut ?

I would love to know how people get 38k plus as quoted from time to time at Monks, I am 99 Fishing with nearly 24Mil XP and average 32k an hour at monks. Also trout and salmon at river West of the Fishing Guild using Rasolo the trader to sell the fish to is faster than Shilo. I only do monks if I want cash, XP to slow....... you must be doing something wrong then...i get about 34k an hour on average at my level It's probaly because I fish in a relaxed manner watching TV and stuff at the same time, I do not fish that intently as to switch spots that quick as and when they move etc...

Barbarian village, Security Stronghold, go down to green level, giant spiders........

What ? I fish Rasolos all the time what are you talking about, if I had tried...

Monks do not own for XP though, good for XP and Cash :) I have tried and tested monks many many times and if you can get over 35k an hour on a regular basis then I would love to know how. On average on my findings I would say on average and on a regular basis 32.5k an hour for monks. I have seen people state 40k an hour for monks, but I think they have read this somewhere as I have never ever come close to that figure, and I have fished thousands of the things.

Get yourself a stack of feathers and go to the fishing spots on the river west of the fishing guild, fish your trout and salmon there, then run north and you find Rasolo a trader, sell him your fish, rinse and repeat until required level.... The fishing spots are all close together, so no running around as at Shilo. This spot is for just XP and a small amount of gp, nothing else. I have tried and tested this spot and it is faster than Shilo :)

Hi People who max 200mil skill XP intrigue me somewhat. Do they just find the fastest XP rate and grind away at it ? Or do they just grind away at it regardless of the XP they get ? If you take a look at the fastest XP rates for fishing, woodcutting, mining etc even playing 8 hours a day it would still take some time to achieve....... Done some net searches on this and found nothing as to how long it took to achieve or the path taken to max out a skill.
