  1. Oh, I think it's perfectly fine for idle if he has a good case. My fan settings are at the lowest possible in my Antec P180 with a AMD X2 4200 and I get 22 idle, and am right now doing light browsing + Im and have 27
  2. Not much use, but that's extremely odd. Is it windows or the program that says it's experiencing overheating? And if program, is it motherboard supplied or 3rd party? That doesn't sound like isn't anything near overheating. While i generally run at 26, my idle is 21, and i get as high as 54 often problem less. I try to turn up the fans though a notch when that happens, but that's just background)
  3. Try and first compress it with something like winrar (rarlabs.com) it doesn't sound like you compressed it. The other good idea is to break it up in parts. That's a massive file for someone to so generously host. You can probably get something reasonable priced things from newegg.com. While there shipping is great, it sounds like you need something instant. I saw a few things that'd work from best buy at around 80 dollars for a 160gig external. You can consider hosting it as a torrent and just getting a friend to download the torrent, unless it's private. some things like [ForbiddenSite].com allow 100mb things, that'd take a lot of uploading though. ____________Whoops to the below. Cruiser beat me, and i didnt pay attention to "external" I suppose the best option is to get some sort of storage device you might purchase anyway, like an ipod, or to get a dvd burner, preferably off newegg since i hate bestbuy with their aweful prices :P. I got a quality dvd burner for 40 dollars off newegg. Off newegg after a quick search i found a 25 dollar one, i have no idea to the quality - reviews are reasonable http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6827152074.
  4. Well, I run the toolbar without problems, consider waiting till the next update (which might solve whatever compatibility problem you had). alternatively there's an image shack link you can put in live bookmarks that works similarly to the link, and also there's image shack integrated into windows context menu which i love. How often do you use imageshack, really? And if you do use it *alot*, I'd suggest using photo bucket [www.photbucket.com] it's faster for me, and the registration wasn't bad at all.
  5. I have no idea, sorry, if you look to see what motherboard you have, look up the manufacturer, and read the manual it'll probably say. However, why bother? Just wait perhaps someone will find a suitable program
  6. If you're looking to buy a cheap computer, consider building one yourself. Anandtech.com had a guide on building the most "gaming" possible budget computer in November. It really still applies, but prices on some items, especially ram, should be lower. so for 550ish dollars, maybe less since all you need is the case no monitor, mouse, nothing, you could probably get a computer to run wow. http://www.anandtech.com/guides/showdoc.aspx?i=2861
  7. Check your motherboard manufacture. Mine [Asus -Doesn't necessarily run on all motherboards by asus] provides an integrated motherboard alarm clock that'll beep, even run sounds off the hard drive, while the computer is off. Very neat, I've never tried it though I just use my phone if necessary, otherwise I sleep through ;)
  8. Poke! Victory is mine.
  9. I make about 50% profit, I'm not sure where your number is for. I put in 75k, and i get at least 110k back from my flax alone (flax 100+ one other 50%)
  10. ahh, Ok. I guess I'm wrong. Maybe that's why i should try things out before shooting them out my mouth, sorry.
  11. Dragon Butcher Blade : I like it, very deep sort of shading feel. Really makes me think of a longsword too with the thickness.
  12. Sorry, I wasnt really specific :( I dislike in the first one how unplanned it is. The bubble is extremely crammed, and the writing rushed. Additionally, The whole concept, isn't witty at all, so I'm not sure why it's a joke. It's great for just practice, but it's not something that took you a long time. The second one is more interesting. It looks like it took more time, and i like the little 'sprong' creature in the top left. Thanks for telling me which tablet, I've heard alot of people recommending the Wacom tablets, I'm going to try and find one on ebay maybe later perhaps.
  13. # Capture the screenshot to your clipboard: * Mac OS -> press [shift]+[Apple Key]+[3] to capture the entire screen, or [shift]+[Apple Key]+[4] and click and drag what you'd like to capture. * Windows -> Press [Print screen] to capture the entire Desktop or [Alt]+[Print Screen] to capture the active window. * For some laptops, press [FN] + [insert} to capture the screen. # Open a graphics program such as MS Paint, Paint.NET or IrfanView. # Paste the image. # Crop/resize the image to the smallest portion you need to post. # Save it as an image file to your hard drive. # Upload your file to an imaging host. Upload sites with free access that require registration: _____________ Please dont lie if you've merely not read it. It says exactly the same. "* Windows -> Press [Print screen] to capture the entire Desktop" "Open a graphics program such as MS Paint, Paint.NET or IrfanView. # Paste the image."
  14. Camtusia, And if you bloody tried searching you'd have found it yourself!!! No excuse for not checking sticky or search enginge! Rarw!! STICKY NAMES 5, 3 windows and 2 mac, programs as alternatives to hypercam! I think some sort of program called "fraps" can also do it, and Camtusia is only a 30 day trial for a pretty good program.
  15. Not really. There could be more recent versions of the drivers. Whatever drivers are up for download that match the computer are most likely the most reecent though.
  16. Alternatively I suppose you can make two accounts with different screens etitngs. I'm not 100% sure though
  17. This is an old one, I didnt know about this thread when i opened my last one which was 19kish flax, 6k maples, 34 tree nests, some ring nests, and a red egg.
  18. I have DVD Shrink, it doesn't remove the encryption. I'm working on trying DVD Decryptor, I'm a tad busy atm :( By having DVD Shrink, of course, I have it on my offshore pc with a friend testing the cd...
  19. Err, How would you go abouts changing your real IP? I was under the impression the ISP gave you one, and the only way to 'fake' it was through a proxy.
  20. I do :) Well. What I mean to say is Aye to the question "Does anybody here like ATI?" ;) ;) But...I have no knowledge in the AGP field (and as long as not asked, dont have to admit to not knowing PCI-E beyond my earlier reseacrching)
  21. I tried that when I was young, with bubble pipes lol, it was fun. But it's much less cool with real tobacco. I don't smoke. I can only vaguely see the purpose of smoking if you're ALREADY addicted. I've seen what it does to people, and have seen extremely strong people have difficulty with it. I know people who although they havnt smoked once in years who have occasional thirsts. I dont think its worth it. Really, what benefit does it have? it doesn't even make you 'look cool' anymore.
  22. I didnt find it quite interesting. Or funny. Or talented. But how do you like your tabelet? What sort is it/how much did it cost? Lol, I'm looking into one :)
  23. Lovely, my "right click>tab" finger is grumpy though. Once the thread gets to page two could you consider posting again with all within tags for faster connection speeds (and of course with a note on the first post that they're there) I liked "strut", the fallen tree was nice, gameboy micro had an interesting pm comment, but a little note- it'd be cooler if you had changed the atks and such to be different too not just pasted in a 'gameboy micro' on a screenshot. just like strut, flying noob made me just laugh a lil too :P i thought the "new message" box was cool actually :P ending with "love skate" made it all the sweeter Pmod crown making is funny! :P And of course the 42 froggy heads quip, whether real or not (I'm only at 27 tokens) was funny :P A few, including the gun ones, i just found adummish. But overall, nice lol thanks. If not the most skilled or complex ones, definetly creative and cool looking, and still professional so they weren't obviously fakes.
  24. You might want to stress more on the first post this thread is for all altercations to the runescape weaponry. I like it alot, but others (sort of like me) think it looks like a scimmy because the nice curve. Of course, that doesn't take anything away from it that it ends looking like the scimmy. Just more power to the wwesomeness of the scimmy ;)
  25. Loved it : I don't have anything really productive to say, but I must agree as always the friends bring me back :P Well, actually, NO FAIR! You have gotten much more exp in a year then me in over two years. Maybe it was three years, I can't remember err :/. I started in the holiday gap year early september of the yo-yo year. Ayye...so, yes, two years. Everything else in my memory is a shady little blur before rs ;) ;) As to others, I know its reasonable to disagree, but if at any time theres a time to lay it on thick I mean you got to take the best time, right around now when the least people will be grumpy to it :):) I suppose it can be said as laying it on thick, but not if it's true really. It's fine if you dont neccesarily come back as much for the community but many people do, or, at least, the editor does and it's really not 'laying it on thick' for the editor. Nor me.
