  1. Maintaining your own kingdom must be overhelming. The friend I was talking about earlier had to take constant brakes from it.

The Southland looses a legend.
  3. Hell, I like Quite [bleep]ing True better. QF'ingT
  4. Yeah your companions can be your vassals.
  5. If you leave, I think those fiefs go back to your vassal leader too. My friend got Shariz under Rhodok vassalage and lost it when he became indepednent. But seeing "The Kingdom of Lordaeron" on a castle was worth it (for me, at least ) I've actually chosen Nords but I will do a Khan bandit-free lancer type thing later on. My first goal is to get decent Rhodok spearmen, to kill Swadian cav with. Then, get the King's favor and get fiefs!
  6. Do you or any of your leftist buddies have any idea how taxes on a sole proprietorship works? If you did, you'd understand why $250,000 a year isn't rich, and why raising their taxes will affect 72% of all businesses in the U.S. http://www.census.gov/compendia/statab/2010/tables/10s0728.pdf Yet Magekillr never assumed all $250k earners were small business owners. Now, be careful here Sees. Small businesses do not need tax increases, but don't get small business confused with multi-million dollar corporations. They're the ones who really need to be regulated, since, taxing them higher would only [bleep] over the low-wage employees purposely. MOST people in that category ARE small business owners. I start my own business by making and selling widgets. I value widgets at $5,000 each, and in a year I make 50 widgets. If I sell none of those 50 widgets and they sit in my warehouse at the end of the year, I'm still taxed at the $250,000 per year rate because my inventory value changed by that much, even if I don't have a dollar to my name. I know. Such a pity, I wish that wasn't the case. Starting at 40k earning puts you in what I call the Middle Class Gap, meaning, you don't receive the tax benefits, charity loans, reduced mortgages, etc, because you're rich enough not to be entitled to them but you're not rich enough to support yourself without them. It's a tactic aimed to keep the poor from advancing, in essence. So this goes on for a few hundred thousand dollars earning, especially if (in your case) you're a small business owner.
  7. The problem why I can't build such epic stuff like that, is that I can't add detail. I can totally do the outline and such, but the pillars, glass layouts, buttresses, etc? I can't figure it out.

  9. Exactly. Relative is the key word here. We are talking about the poor in the Western world. I also feel people forget about financial stability, which is not high in this recession.
  10. While I do agree the average American 'poor' person is not a hunger-stricken kid who lives in a tin shack, it's not the ideal position for people living in the country with the highest GDP in the world. 'Poor people aren't poor' is just an excuse made by the middle and lower upper class to force the blame of poverty into those who are in it, while feeling better about themselves. As economic recovery is dependent on employment: As I said before and I will always say again, you want American labor to occur, you need to stop American companies from importing their products overseas through tariffs, taxes, etc. But NO...people think they "deserve" their money, 'cos they work hard. Yet [bleep] when immigrants "take my jobs". [/hide]Trick statement. Remove the fridge, and you're probably richer than the 30%.
  11. In the name of improving medical treatment. Sorry to say, patient treatment was already improving before it was remotely known Mengele did his deaths.
  12. Nord? Seems like I'll get crushed easily by Sea Raiders and cavalry.
  13. SUPER MEGA BUMP PART 2 I finally got this game and wow, I am blown away. Loving it so far. Then I remembered this thread, and well, here we are. Currently playing Warband and thinking of starting new, but I don't know what nation to go as. I'm thinking the Khans since I like archery, but eh. Anyone got experience with those? Tactics, how to take down other cav, etc? Looking forward to reviving this thread.
  14. Referencing in essays. Teachers' don't really check them, they just want to see if you did them right. Plus, isn't everything you say bluntly not yours? What's the point, legitimately? <_<
  15. If a relationship can be broken through the jelously of a third indivdual, then it was already weak no? Assuming you were meaning to give off a negative connodation, with that red text.
  16. It's not for questioning and judgmental purposes. If a girl says "She is fiiiine." to another, I'm left to wonder if she's a lesbian or not, and I slowly hide her my flowers under my desk.

Le sigh. I see it a lot too. It's a wonder these idiots passed the written test. Congrats Bows
  18. If you're not gay, then don't use the word "hot". When people use those adjectives, like hot, sexy, smoking, etc, it gives off (at least to me) that you enjoy it rather than acknowledge it. Compare those words to attractive, nice body, and masculine. Gives a different tone you know? If anyone feels the same this post will make sense, of course.

And you're going to buy her heart? This is were the male stereotypes fall into place.

Vector IS a scam. They've already gotten into legal trouble before, so I wouldn't trust them at all.

It's Saturday normal and I'm out? Seems half-normal. Just pulled an all-nighter I think, for the sun rises up in an hour.
  22. We got two camps here in the USA: 1) You MUST have a cultural background and you MUST find it interesting and enjoyable! 2) Damn foreigners n' their Spanish speaking Hinduism. This 'merica, [bleep] yeah, speak English! Both are terrible. Just go on your life without worrying about others' cultures.
  23. That's the keywords isn't it?
  24. I still don't know. In Spanish  Yes, perhaps.
