Really, i pk-d with a whip when they were 20m, now i dont see anything stupid about that- alot of people even now pk with furys/berserker rings etc etc and die losing more than 10m, and i still dont see anything stupid about it. Most probobly the dark bows proctect value will be very similar to the proctect price of the whip, and if you have a deacent internet connection and know what you are doing, theres no ay of losing it. Dragon arrows might cost alot, but noone says you will HAVE to use them- dark bow+rune arrows will still be better than msb+rune arrows. Also, theres no way dragon arrows could cost more than about 5k each, otherwise there just isnt a point in doing anything with them- unless ofcource you can get them back somehow. Please, little boy, leave your enviousness to somewhere else, and understand, that if you canÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôt get it any time soon, or meybe even ever, doesnt mean its no good or useless, not even knowing ANYTHING about it. the bow wont be above 10k in the shop... like any other bow... another andrews girlfriend? he must have whole loads of them seeing how many FACTS people post about the dark bow. Just a reminder- all the bows you are thinking about are fletchable, and high shop value would make them too desireable for moneymaking and unbalance the game- and for your information, seeing how misled you are about the game, crystal bows used to alch for 700k+.

well, accually, first 85 slayers(odd and fire) sold whips 75m ea, duelers and merchants even sold them for 100m ea, but back to the increase of money- back then when whips came out, the price of a partyhat set was accually less than an abyssal whip, blue partyhats only sold for 24m ea, though now a set is 1.4b, so it would be logical to the bows to be very high aswell despite the number of slayers.

you should really start playing runescape again. crystal bow is the best bow when you can recharge it 180k/time. Yes, it doesn't have a spec, but it is the best bow. care to take me on msb+rune arrows vs crystal bow? dont bother, youll get ko-d in no time. crystal bow is an awful pking wepon and thats the end of it.

also what i noted: the maple bows give +29 ranged attack bonus the addy longsword has +29 slash attack bonus the yew bows give +47 ranged attack bonus the rune longsword gives +47 slash attack bonus the magic bows give +69 ranged attack bonus the dragon longsword gives +69 slash attack bonus hence- saying the requirements for the bow are low is inappropriate we already have ''the dragon bow''- and it is a magic short-bow- so dark bow, as a superiour bow to the magic short bow will accually be along the lines of an ''abby bow'' or a ''barrows bow''.

from the diaries it is a fact that implings will drop dragon arrow heads and dragon dart heads- im fairly sure dragon arrows would be fletchable at 90 flecthing, but darts could range from 94 to 96, meybe even 99. Also, i cant see jagex making the arrows/darts require normal shafts/normal feathers- but we'll see.

anyone still have doubts on the bow not being the best in the game? i sure hope not EDIT: How ould the dark bow have been a crossbow? it was already said to fire dragon ARROWS, and crossbows can NOT fire arrows.

do you even realize what you just said? your a lvl 75 slayer, and you are just digging a hole for yourself with that sentance. All 90+ slayers would get the best bow and could own all pc products straight away in the wildy. Btw, comparsion with a whip is very inappropriate, take for example partyhat prices- first whips were sold for eqvivalent of a partyhat set- now a partyhat set is 1.4B or smth- they wont go that high, but due to the fact of alot more money running through the economy and dark beasts being far harder to kill in tons than abyssals, the price should defenaly hit higher than the cheapest partyhat.

I agree with what your saying and another way to help the PC generation seperation from us old schools players is... DO NOT ALLOW HP or Prayer XP as a Reward. Either way.. I stay away from PC.. but every man, woman, child and noob for themselves No hp or prayer from pc would be great, hp would be the new combat lvl in a way. OR, we could just put a big 'PC' next to somebodies combat lvl if they got over 1/3 of thier exp from pc. That would be a great idea! if someone has got more than 10M combat experiance put a big red plack on their cape with ''PC'' writtn in bold on it. That would probobly stop alot of people :P btw- lvl 30-80 are the people saving us from alot more high level noobs, by all means, there should be tons more of newbs ruining the game for everyone.

so, you as an example for pc generation, how would you feel next to a person who gained all of their 99 melee stats in rsc? i would really feel like a donkey next to a horse.... why pc is on fire by oldschoolers and not cook x/pyramid plunder? Combat is the stat that everyone can see when they look at your character, and in the olden days, maximum combat was considerd a big accomplishment- now, i see more 120s than 60s, and this obviously is not right. To be hounest there are alot of ways to ''fix'' pc, but the best way in my mind would be making you lose your items while inside the minigame+all monsters in the game killed before end of the game. This would drive away all complete newbs, make you use alot of food and make the games slower.

the unless was correctly placed- i am all melee stats 99 and thats the reason i can get up to 140k attack xp an hour- now i know lower levers can not get as much as experiance as i would, but, when they would train normally, they would also get ALOT less experiance than i do, so its fair.

Um eva heard of barrows armour?? also the *best* weapon could be dharocks axe with full dharock if u look at power wise or guthans spear at value and rareness. + lv 70 is fairly high considering it is the highest lv in a skill required to weild the best wep (i.e 70 att for whip, 70 def for barrows armour, 70 range for crystal bow.) This item isnt going to be that strong because its reqs are less than the crystal bow and karilz x and those items already aren't that strong. The boots is a seperate issue boots provide very little protection. I've already stated that the item is going to be high in price because of the 90 slayer part, however, i have also stated that when the reqs come out and they're as low as i have predicted jagex will surely have to make the item dropable by another npc. I do know what i am talking about and i also said that the prices would start of very high and then become fairly low because an item with reqs of 60 range is obviously not going to be very strong. For ur info my attack is 60, i cant be stuffed to train it 1 more lv just so that i am in the high scores.. i can wear drag weps and i will post a stats pic if ur so desperate to know my attack. both of u obviously didnt read my post in detail and actually ur *newbs.* meybe we did not read your post in detail because of the load of garbage in it? at this moment, the best BOW in the game is magic short-bow, crystal bow is just plain rubbish and slow- karils x-bow is , as its name- a cross-bow, and the best bow in the game- suprise-suprise- requires 50 range to wear- so, as a superior bow to the msb, the dark bow WILL be the best bow in the game- hence it really doesnt matter whet the requirements for it is- dark bow will be the best bow. Now one thing i still can not understand- you are a low level, though you still call a level 60 requirement low- no logic in that, im sorry. Now when id call a level 95 range requirement low, that would be a whole nother story.

Blatant generalization, sir! That's assuming that all low levels are idiots and all high levels are mature people. Not true at all! In the olden days, lvl 126s were respectful- some of them were disrespectful, but atleast they knew something about the game- i have been asked: ''Hey 0x where yanil is??'' by a lvl 121 player- now that is sad. Now as others have said- about 20k xp h was the max experiance an hour in rsc- less than 40k at start of rs2- i can easily top 120k xp h in pc- pc ruined combat as it was, and that is the main reason of all those low level skillers out there.

1b shows as 1000m. And you can only go to ~2300m so there is no 10b. And anyway if there was it would probably be 10g. (k = kilo or 1000, m = mega or 1 million, g = giga or 1 billion). I like this update. Although the text might not look 'pretty', that doesn't really matter if it helps people not get scammed. 1000M says 1 billion in a trade. there is no 10B.

1000m is green, seen it, 10B+ should be some other colour isnt 2.4 bil the max? 2.14 bil and some other #s follow them... but yes hell hounds are not that great. thats why i said should- so there is only 3 colours max money is 2147483647 as the largest number taking up 4 bytes(max longint in pascal) btw- i have seen 1000M, and yes, it is green.

if the dark bow is better than the msb, and presumebly, it will be, then why would a player, that has most combat stats maxed kill monsteres that require alot of effort and money to kill sell their loot for 20k a piece? Your post must be one of the stupidest things i have ever read- the price of the bow is determined by the demand- if the bow is better than msb, that is used by more than a few hundred thousand scapers, why wouldnt some of them want a better bow if they can afford one? So, as only less than 0.1% of the runescape population can get these bows, and more than 10% of runescape population desire one, the demand will be sky high, now high demand means everyone wants one, and if they can not get it, some of them are willing to pay more money, and this determins the price. By your logic, at start, all of the slayers get a few thousand bows, and when the price falls to 20k each, not a single player will kill dark beasts anymore. The big point is, the bow price will never fall lower than the whip, unless there will be a better bow than the dark bow- why? only slayers get dark bows, only slayers get whips- people with ~90 slayer have a choice- kill the easier abyssal demons for whips at 1.5m ea or kill dark beasts, that require alot of money and more effort to kill than abyssal demons, and sell dark bows for x amount of cash. If the dark bow is better than msb it will have a big demand, unless a better bow comes along- now when dark bow price goes lower than whips price- why would lvl 90 slayers kill dark beasts anymore? they waste money, are harder to kill and the drops are worse- theyll just go to abyssal demons again and the production goes to 0, demand is still constant and the price plummets up again. What i also noticed is your stats- you say level 60 requirement is low, though you are a complete newbie. Dragon armor and wepons require 60 attack/defence- you cant even wear dragon wepons.

errm, whats wrong with that?(loads of people have done it, inclueding me)
