First thing, it looks like you have all those "easy" skillcapes yourself too.. Here we can see an excellent example of a guy who wants to push his ego up with his skillcapes. Everyone in this game has a permit to do whatever they want according to the rules set by jagex. Getting a "cheap" skillcape is everyones own decision and I respect it. Like do you think if some newcomer wears bronze armours, he is a totally jerk becouse looking like he haven't put any effort to it? Most people wear their skillcapes becouse it's achievement to them, not everyone can play this game as much as you do and set as hard goals as you. If I would have 99 stat I would wear the skillcape with pride, no matter what anyone thinks. I would wear it just for me, to remember myself what I can do. Like it seems you can't really take it this is a game, not a work.. You don't honestly need anyones respect to make this game fun. It seems like all you think is what other people think about you. I wouldn't care less if someone had better stats than I do.. Instead of you I give my respect to everyone as a human and by their personality, not by the skills they got. It's mad I would have so many things to critisize about players like you, who think they are somehow upper class to other players, just becouse they have higher combat and total, but becouse this is public forum I rather not tell everything I feel. This gone pretty much offtopic, so to the PC. In my opinion it's good thing to have. I like to change between things I do like, PC - Slayer - Barrows.. Really, most of the people who call PC cheap and stuff, are the ones who get too bored to it after one game, and after that they keep calling it cheap and wrong way to level. And they rather afk train at axehut or something.. To sum up my thoughts, I think all of you guys who call Pest Controllers noobs, should think again. PC has been added to the game by jagex, and it's nothing like dishonourable to use. You have the same opportunities to go and play PC if you want, it's not an advantage to some people, it's advantage to everyone. I really like how some of you like Hohto and Aquaschok told your opinion about it, nice texts, really. =D> Just like pc made combat easier, cooking, fletching and thieving have been made alot easier, and used to be very hard to level aswell, and i was one of the people who got 99 cooking and flethcing without fletch/cook x, and as a skiller, why not level all skills. And my point is, there is nothing to be proud about pc-ing your way to lvl 126, it used to be an achievement, but now, it is just too easy.

i, honestly, have more respect for legends cape then those crappy att/def/str/hp/cook/fletch and thieving capes. They think they look cool with a cape like that, but really, only thing they are showing off is how cheap they are... Why cheap? those people just think- a skillcape is a skill cape, but no, it isn't. When people see a mining or agility cape they know how much work has been put into getting it, and respect them, and there really isnt anything to respectable about easy skillcapes.

99 attack- whip while slaying 99 hp- slaying 99 magic- got 99 magic alot of time ago and teleporting and pking gives quite alot of experiance 99 ranged- slaying with cannon, dking 99 strangth- slaying with guthans in most xp order

Farming has ALWAYS been bugged...ever since i started farming alot of strange occasions have occoured(100+ herbs from a patch, fruit trees growing for 4 days etc etc). It is just another bug, the time it takes to grow something is just a guideline, you shouldnt expect them to grow at any particular rate since the growrate is a very complicated equasion.

30k an onyx bolt who is going to test them?(unless you want to buy 30 onyx bolts from me). normal max hit with rune is 38, dragon bolt special cat hit up to 60+.

this is without special...hit quite a few 38 on kbd too, but couldnt hit more than that anywhere(without special).

you have got the range training pices awfully wrong.... best for training for me is best experiance an hour, and msb, karils x-bow and dark bow are all faster experiance an hour than crystal bow.

That's what i'm wondering o.O Can already hit 76 with dds spec? Then another 50 with the shield at the same time? :XD: Although like others have said, I doubt there has even been one dropepd yet, probably all just rumours atm. swe havent seen anyone with the shield yet, so it muct be really rare- hence it is very, very expencive. If it is very expencive, not many people will risk brining it into the wilderness.

ruby tipped rune bolts? my mate hit 250 on jad with a blue partyhat. You could hit 60s with dragon bolts even before the update so... As this has been said, the drops seems very, very rare, dont know anyone with the shield yet, and might not see the effects any time soon. This seems to be one of those high level updates like fire cape and 3rd age- only the few really lucky and fortuanate can cut profits from it.

why normal butler? if you can afford mahogany planks, you should have no problem paying the demon butler 1 gp per experiance for the fast experiance :S

It rather depends on the question: Can you afford dragon arrows? dark bow with rune arrows is worse than msb, but it dragon arrows it nukes it.

I really see the dark bow as then balancer of the combat types- dark bow with rune arrows is worse than msb, but can hit very high with dragon arrows, that cost alot of money. The special attack certainly isnt overpowerd, rather it gives ranged something like the dharok set to play with. Even though the special attack always hits, high def still helps very well on not letting you get hit too much. Ofcource- now that melee pkers pk with torsos, rune defenders and so on, they are likely to get owned by the special attack, but then again, whos fault is it not having eunaugh money for proper armor?

it used to be a great method, but now with alot of 90+ slayers mining the rune rock(such as me) while killing the dark beasts- and as i've been here i've seen alot of people changing servers here now.

wow, and I thought I had crappy luck. Yeah that's why I don't camp there, I just wanted one for myself, and after 3k+, got two within 45 kills...lol go figure. I use shilo also, I like the high numbers he gives. I am working straight to 99 slayer, any advice? get 96 magic and use lunar spells- great for doing clues fast, and can do many high level slayer tasks in a row without banking(for example- abby task ends and using the contact npc spell and get nechryael task- and no suffering because of lack of spells.)

accually it is about 82M from 80 to 99 construction. Congratzz on the levels, strangely, i cant see your butler on any of the pictures...Anyway, how much experiance do you get an hour?

90-93 slayer without whips, shilo tasks...dont really care..they are 1.5m anyway, they arent worth it for money.(good slayer xp though)

this is really a pointless thread unless you take time into the equasion. All skills have different xp/h so its pointless to compare the money gained while getting level 99.

heal with guthans and train attack with whip...2m strangth from slayer training like that already:)

rather use normal pking gear- full ahrims farseer aincent staff zammy book and arena cape for mage- using ONLY ice barrage- rune legs fighter torso fire cape neitzinot helm rune boots rune defender for melee- using whip and dds and full karils with msb against mage, karils x bow against melee for ranger(archer, avas accumulator snake boots). and if you want someone to use dark bow with dragon arrows be prepared to bay them about 500k for the fights, because they are very expencive. it is no good testing with armors that are not used in the wilderness.

The point is, most people dont use magic in combat situations and use cannon while training ranged or slayer.

It is stupid not to wear one when you want the rare drops- like really, the wealth ring can not make the drops worse, hence it can only improve them.

sawmill operator- 99 construction is atleast 55M gp for them...and there are hundreds of lvl 3 autoers planking oak.
