first to get it that way...you wish...i know atleast 4 people who have got it that way. i have burnt atleast 18 chewed bones, noting good yet.

slayer- no competition- if you farmed all day you would get alot more experiance than if you slayd all day with cannon with edge tasks. max xp h with slayer is about 22k(average, not like i did daggonoth task in 10 minutes or smth), but farming can be about 34k h(watermelons, torstol, trees etc, total average).

They are still the 'cheap' 99s and always will be...if you take into consideration how some people got 99 fletching in rsc it is even more of an amazement(no notes, bowstrings had to be traded 12 at a time if you wanted to buy). But now because jagex-es idiotic ideas of making everything easier, they are just 2 pointles skills, and to be hounest, flething, cooking and thieving capes look dodgy too(and have louzy emotes).

In the olden days, high level people were respected not only because of how much work they put into it getting the levels, but because of their attitude, and your attidute, sir, is poor, very poor. I have never said you shouldnt use pc, it is completely fine to use it, and as many people say: it is part of the game now. But sticking to that- even though i respect pc as a part of this game, i have no respect for jagex for making it, and neither for anyone that uses it- if you want to be respected by me and alot of the other oldschool players who earned their levels the hard way, you are going to have to work for it alot harder.

ususally wore farming, but since 99 construction i've been switching between the two.

+1 Also, why does Guthans Helm, Plate and Skirt protect over the Spear? Hell, even barrows gloves protects over Guthans Spear. :? Perhaps Jagex should have had a look at those issues rather than this pointless update. It wasn't exactly hard to go to a shop and work out what your three most valuable items were. are you an idiot? when guthans spear sells to the shop for 41k, and all other guthan items sell for more, it is logical that you would keep the other items- jagex did nothing significant with this update, they just let you know what you will be keeping now, instead of having to find out by showing to the store or alching untradeable items. Also you pointing at the guthans issue- guthans spear hasent always proctected under all other guthan parts, but after a while, jagex understood that it was meybe a little bit too powerful and made it proctect for less(was about 79k at start). Also, if jagex changed it back, spear would drop loads, helm would rise to the price of the spear atm and nothing would be changed.

Firstly, i did not say the hiscores should ignore free players, i just pointed out that they don't deserve seperate hiscores for not paying for the games development. Secondly, you cant really class cooking and fletching as a buyable skill- you dont accually need any money to level it more than making it a little less comfortable when buying selling the goods, infact cooking sharks and fletching yew bows yields quite a nice profit. There are some other flaws for your plan aswell- when counting the easy skills for less, it doesnt take into consideration that some people accually got all those skills to 99 the hard way- bashing undead beings with a dragon battleaxe or cooking while clicking every item you chose to cook. Made0f12une- it takes 80k mahogany planks for 80-99 construction, where the hell could you find more than 5 thousand players wanting full mahogany house? ill tell you- nowhere.

Total experiance is even more biased than skill total- when counting skill total, 200m fletch experiance gives you 99 total levels, but a 15.38 time edge compared to someone with 99 fletching, and that would only encourage people to train the fast, easy and cheap skills to 200m. I currently have 280M experiance with 2175 skill total- there could be someone with 327 total and more than 600M experiance(200m cooking fletching thieving), but that doesnt mean he is more than 2 times better than i am.

Is that actually acurate? That would be pretty ironic too, since America's colors are red, white, and blue, and jagex castle is located in Europe. That was so typical american reply LOL. Made me laugh so hard, not even going to point out the things ironic about it. It's probobly random, whatever happens to be in your inv at x place, same as '' what law runes i keep and lose if i die with 6 of them''.

because of the f2p atmosphere, though when i got p2p first time f2p atmosphere was fantastic, and p2p was even better.

f2p is just a demo of the game, and it should not have seperate hiscores- afterall its their fault they cant pay a little sum of money per month they like playing. And for the buyable skills part, it is just stupid- and theres no other word for it- do you think that money just drops out of a tree for some people? do you understand that it takes TIME to gain the raw materials for many buyable skills? ofcource there are some skills that are very easy that give fast experiance and gain money(melee, fletch+cook), but skills like construction and prayer are accually really hard- they are easy to level if you have the money, but you couldnt get the money back in any way from the skill.

you'll know you have trained slayer too much when you start rock hammering abyssal demons and nechryael at low hp.

really nice skills, and congratz on not running with the pack and not bothering to level every easy skill to 99, but going for the hardest ones.

very nice, but not that lucky at finding dragon implings :P heres one of my trips, about 3 heous being there, took only entangle runes and lava staff for alching(catching stuff too ,obviously) 104 dragon arrows vielded too on that trip 8-)

safe-ing is only appropriate at fight that are going to death anyway- with safe-ing, you dont give your opponent any chance of killing them with food, hence, theres no point to the fight. People go to the wilderness to have fair fights, but if either side gives the opponent no chance of killing them, it is not a fair fight.

The shield half was never portrayed as something that was only dropped by the strongest monsters. The visage WAS. ~q still, what people are trying to achieve is getting brutals to drop visages. why? because brutals have alot less def and hp then blacks, so you can kill them alot faster if you dont take the hides up. Brutals arent strong enaugh to drop visages, and jagex was right to not make them drop it. Poppycock. They are NOT a lot faster to kill. More to the point, there are far fewer people who can kill them and it costs MONEY to kill them. I just hallied some brutal greens for fun. Try it, then go see how many people are doing that with blacks. Try camping at the greens ranging without prayer or food like people do at the blacks. ~q sorry, but i have the stats and money it takes to kill monsters properly- i dont need to hide behind a rock to kill something- get your torags and whip out and try it- you rarely hit on black dragons but brutal greens are a laugh. All monsters are not supposed to be killed by level 65s with rune halberd and 3 trouts in their backpack, and if the black drags drop visage- good for them, just dont cry about it, every monster has its combat stats spread out differently, thats why lvl 113 trolls hit 30s and abyssal demons only hit 8s, and why noobs can easily kill hellhounds, but get into trouble against something with more defence. Brutal greens combat stats are focused on agression- magic, attack and strength levels, but lack hitpoints and defence experiance- black dragons on the otherhand have equal melee stats, high hitpoints and no magic or ranged attack.

noobs were noobs in those days- everything was much harder than it is now, and that is why everyone loved it.

barbarians and kalphite queen both drop sheield left half, but one is lvl 18, and the other is level 333x2- is that logical? rs is not based on logic, and brutal greens are easyer to kill than black dragons.
