99 Thieving<99 Herblore, Crafting, Smithing, 2200 ST>
Runecrafting & Fishing ARE BUYABLES    Congrats on 99 Herblore, Crafting & Smithing!! What potions did you make for Herblore? Did you do green dhides all the way for Crafting? Did you smelt gold ores a lot? RuneCrafting isn't buyable anymore because ZMI is faster than FFL and makes a profit, barbarian fishing is the fastest method of fishing in the game and doesn't require any money(well, one feather). 12k Super sets from 88-93, 27k Saradomin brews from 93-99. Green dragon-leather from 90-99 crafting. Steel plates ;) Massive thanks to Macu, too bad you couldn't be there, again. Thanks to everyone else as well.

bone prices
if you buy marrentills 300 gp each(for burners) you have to have 19.2 times more of them, making it more expensive than dragon. Also, you wont get enough ourg bones for 99 ever.

99 Thieving<99 Herblore, Crafting, Smithing, 2200 ST>
Took 4 days of lazy plundering from 93 Thieving, only got one scepter in that time aswell. Thanks to Zot for wasting he's time congratulating me and paying for the lilac cape So after around 4 and a half years playing this game, i finally maxed out all skills that can be bought. Went from 96 to 99 herblore this month(88-96 last month), 90 to 99 crafting this month and 91 to 99 smithing this month. All these achievements cost me around 250 mil gp, but as i don't have anywhere to put money anymore, it doesn't matter. Some random pictures from party: [hide=Party Pictures] [/hide] Also achieved Skill Total 2200 and 300M Total Experience this month. And last but not least, completed my old rsc goal- rs2 was launched just 2 hours before i could achieve it. [On sidenote, 99 Herblore, 99 Crafting, 99 Smithing and 2200 Skill Total are all eligible for AotM, but 300m total experience is not.]

Woodcutting Eggs~Theorys
they have been around since june 2005, so no, they would not be even cloce to rare, also jagex has no interest in putting in more untradeables, rather, they want to get rid of them.

Nests--Too hard to get?
toadflax are rarely planted because they cost so little. I went from 93 to 99 herblore with saradomin brews, made around 27k of them, and to be honest, neither of the components was hard to buy, so no, the numbers are quite equal.

124/126
Nice achievement, can see you have worked hard to accomplish it, but i still can't give more than 6/10, just too low hp and slayer.

Venqeance - The Greatest Noob Ever Lived presents to you...
To be honest i feel very sorry to photobucket.... Nice achievement in it's own right, i guess.

99 Crafting - 12Th 99 Skill
Sweet achievement, crafting is still quite uncommon 99 and very respectful. Congratulations mate.

Impossible?!?!?! ... No!!
It's 6 hours mate ;) broke it while crafting, 1440k exp (240k/h avg) :D how would it be possible to get 350-400k + an hour then? :? Who said he got 410k an hour? IF he would have played 20 hours he would have had to gain 410k xp an hour, with 30 hours he gained around 275k xp h that can be gained with either battlestaffs of high level tanned dragonhides.
-
Impossible?!?!?! ... No!!
You calculated these for 20 hours, but for real, most of them have been done in up to 31 hours(rs automatically logs out after 8 hours, runemonkey takes the experience you had 8 hours ago and updates it when the day finishes). For the Crafting- totally possible if you have a few thousand elemental orbs and battlestaffs banked. For farming- 31 hours is 25 mage trees, 8 palms, 2 calquats, and massive amounts of watermelons and torstols if you could be bothered. The slayer achievement is quite nice too, but if you do edge tasks that isn't too hard to achieve. Also about the list- it's not even nearly complete- only people who have registered there can compete, and it was only introduced more than a year after rs2 was launched.

ZGS: Why it isn't THAT bad
sseli, Zamorak godsword isn't priced lower because it's rubbish, but because it is a lot easier to get. Zamorak godsword still, arguably, is the most useless of the swords, but if you use any of them for training, the differences aren't that apparent. Saradomin is definitely the most useful for training(since you lose defence having no shield) as you don't have to use guthans very often, Armadyl is best for pking, since you have two very good chances of KO you opponent. Bandos and Zammy are a bit different, they have their uses, but those aren't that good. Bandos isn't great for pking, as most people use brews/restores anyway, and you only get one special, although it works great against monsters. Zammy may be useful to stop your victim getting away, but using barrage is a lot easier. sseli, the thing you said about owning another person with ags is just unbelievably stupid and daft. Godswords have exactly the same stats, the only difference is 3-4 special attacks, that matter very little in a fight to death. Can't even believe you compared the swords like that.

Jad with ONLY Mage prayer
Doable, but the success rate is very dependent on what jad hits on you- if he hits 95, you get to brew three times and he could easily ko you then. Good Luck.

What have i been up to since 99 Runecrafting... (3 New 99s)
Yea what ever... RC xp is 20k per hour if you solo. Slayer is alot faster. GF U TRIED. Tho i know i can only compete with magic and fletching. Slayer is 8-16k xp h, 16k tops with maxed stats and cannon. I'll be gaining 99 herblore, crafting and smithing this month, as well as 2200 skill total, so don't hold your breath just yet.

LootShare 16 October 2007
Jagex hasn't ruined anything, you just haven't read the update properly. No one HAS to use lootshare, it is just a possibility.

The highest ranked people with NO 99's!!
Gonga jew topped out at all 98s and 94 slayer[2250 Skill total with no 99s] and i very much doubt anyone ever is going to beat that- not any time soon at least.

Still no love for thieving?
Are you the original xpkxwhatever from RSC, the 99 pure ranger one just out of curiosity, or just an imposter? How is this thread pointless? I wanted to know if perhaps there was some reason Jagex hasn't done pretty much anything other than PP for thieving since RS2 has come out. I'm pretty sure the only thing I didn't know about thieving was the whole PP thing. It seems obvious to me that you just have a big ego Firstly, congrats, you're the 10th person to miss the main point of this thread. If you had actually read through the posts, you would realize you just repeated what several others already stated. Secondly, those ways of making money are terribly slow, unless they have improved since I last thieved (which admittedly was awhile ago). Again, it doesn't necessarily have to be a money maker. It at least needs SOME PURPOSE, which no one has given me, with the exception of the poster who mentioned it could be used as a gathering skill. It CAN be used as a gathering skill, but you're much better off doing other things to get the materials you CAN gather as it's really slow, although you guys do make a fairly good point with the seeds, but as Jessy said, that seems pretty much just to get started thieving. How is thread "just of mis-knowledge?" Do you have any clue what you're talking about? EDIT: Ty Devoted for cleaning the thread?? I don't care about the flames too much tbh though, although it does kind of get this thread off track (as I believe this post might end up doing due to the nature of xpx's post. Know what i am talking about? You didn't know about the update of Pyramid Plunder, ok, ill forgive you that, but You are still ststing that there have NOT been any more additions to the skill? oh please. You stated that the amount of runes you gained in rsc has stayed the same as it is in rs2, but i'm sorry to burst you bubble, it hasn't- as all arrows and runes doubled with the release of rs2, the loot from paladins increased as well. Secondly, with the addition of Hunter, jagex also released gloves of silence, that make pickpocketing a lot easier- you can gain a steady 170k thieving experience and 100k gold in an hour thieving knights of ardougne, and about 100k thieving experience and 200-300k gold in an hour thieving Master farmers. And as slayer gains 13k xp h and ~400k coins, 20k xp h and 500k coins for runecrafting, id say that thieving is one of the best skills to level if you want money and experience. Thirdly, as you've already understood, you completely missed with the point of thieving being a hard skill. May i ask you, when did you last see a minigame devoted to cooking come out, of fletching? or even fishing, but no, jagex did release the sorceresses gardens for thieving. So, i don't know anything about about thieving? rather you have missed a lot of updates jagex has put into the game to make thieving better. And no, i don't think thieving needs and additions added to what it already has- since the release of rs2 the number of npc-s you can pickpocket has gone up more than three times, the number of chests and stalls has gone up two times, and it has been given two minigames. And I'll have to say this again- it seems like you have missed all the good updates of thieving, and really should not have made a thread. [i am not an imposter of anyone, don't even know who you are talking about or why, but it rather seems that you have played too much rsc and are still stuck with that game- the times have moved on.]

Still no love for thieving?
Read what you said on the second post and still- this thread is pointless- it it obvious you know very little- too little about the skill to make these assumptions. Firstly- thieving is the 3rd easiest skill in Runescape and hasn't ever been a hard skill to level- jagex have added PP, black gloves and Master farmers to make the skill even easier. Secondly- there are very few skills in runescape that make a lot of money, MOST runescape skills make A LOT less money that thieving, and have less varied ways of making money- you can thieve farmers, you can use PP and get scepters, you can thieve knights for gold, you can thieve paladins for chaos runes- the list goes on and on, where's for most skills in runescape there are very few to nothing ways of making money. To be honest, this thread is just of mis-knowledge and should be locked.

~ A VERY Unorthodox Achievement.... ~

Woot 99 Slayer :)
9/10 for the stats, but please, next time make a gallery of the pictures, or leave an option to see them- I'm quite certain very few will look through hundreds and hundreds of drop pictures.

LootShare 16 October 2007
At first when jagex introduced the idea, it seemed quite good, but there are a few issues: ALL drops are shared- for example at DK with a 3 person team one will get hide, one will get bone and the third one will get the actual drop- ruins monster drops(apart from chaos elemental). If you are teaming on a lootshare world, then no matter how big a bigger team will turn up- they will get the kills- very easy to ruin somebody else's trips. Also, WTF, lootshare on freetoplay? the best drop for ANY f2p monster is a mere 23k, idiotic idea. About the one minute dying thing- What were jagex thinking of? They have a serious problem with thinking about causes of new updates. They help newbies of runescape a little bit and in change don't let any teamable creature be killed with 3+ expensive items. Way to go. Quite disappointed in the update. They fix seagulls getting stuck, but have yet to fix two handed swords attack styles(bug since GWD).
