  1. picking mort fungus + herb farming is well over 1m/h, and is ridiculously easy that being said 1m/h is not very high i'd recommend getting 85 dungeoneering. get a rapier and go kill some frost dragons. that should be like 3m/h still
  2. omfg guys i unlocked the achievement of walking somewhere using the minimap this could be fun lol
  3. Some die-hard pre-07 merchers would disagree, even if they haven't even tried GE-merching. Honestly, I just don't like the fast pace this game has taken. Not really a fast-paced type of person. today, you can make around 3-4% profit every 4 hours regardless of your capital in 2006, yeah, you could make 20% profit in 4 hours... if you were talking like 20m capital. if you had 500m in 2006, you were lucky to get 2 or 3%. on top of that, you had to physically be logged in and typing, whereas with the ge you can place your offers, then either log off or go kill some bosses for even more money.
  4. it's way easier to make way more money with way less effort merchanting TODAY than you could pre-2007.
  5. i like never use mine simply because the few tasks i do for which they would be useful i just can't be assed.
  6. if he's NEVER done fight caves, don't you think that telling him to melee the task is expecting a lot? i recommend just ranging everything
  7. get them as a drop from saggitaire..?
  8. heh yeah good point if it were legal... who knows, maybe i would have botted 90 fishing
  9. i don't bot because i like playing this game and gain no utility from having an enormous epeen due to newbs fawning over my 1337 botted account. i'd rather just play the game because that's the part of this game i actually like. on the other hand i don't care if anyone else bots, nor do i think there's any moral issue.
  10. rapier and you'll be golden  e: and berserker (i)
  11. How does this make sense? All those who have trained beyond 1m in just about any skill would then also be disadvantaged. I'd hazard a guess such a decision would still disadvantage the majority because they've trained thirteen times longer than they needed to. The fact is, not one of you has come up with a decent argument as to why Jagex should be releasing content for people who have over 90 Agility, ~0.2% of their paying customers. The fact none of you can see that disadvantages 99.8% of Jagex's paying customers just speaks volumes about the extent to which you're willing to deny this, so I'll just leave because it's clear I'm not gonna get a straight answer. why should jagex make content that 1% of their consumers can use when they could make, when the could aim it at 20%? why should jagex make content that 20% of their consumers can use when they could make, when the could aim it at 50%? why should jagex make content that 50% of their consumers can use when they could make, when the could aim it at 99%? why should jagex make content that 99% of their consumers can use when they could make, when the could aim it at 100% (level 3)? (that is how it makes sense - your line of reasoning implies all content should be accessible at level 3 combat fresh of tutorial island, or before)
  12. then jagex should have put 99 at 1 million xp, not 13 million. That's not a decision. That's the way things have always been. since you cannot grasp the concept: then jagex SHOULD change 99 to 1 million xp
  13. then jagex should have put 99 at 1 million xp, not 13 million. edit: or 100k xp or 10k xp or 1 xp reductio ad absurdum, your argument denies itself
  14. combat related uses content has a higher chance of being useful simply because combat is more useful than fletching longbows an example of useful, non-combat related content is kingly imps. having the hunter level to catch them when you see them is useful. however i will add that this is much less useful than many other high level content, such as those that are combat-related.
  15. *nothing extrinsically useful at 90 agility
  16. then invest all your money in herbs instant profit?
  17. there's plenty of stuff for me to do in rs still so i am okay with this
  18. yeah cause 83 summoning is so much more interesting almost as interesting as my 73 firemaking, i had a really big party because this is a huge milestone in the runescape scape of the rs i'd say it'd be more fair to compare ride the lightning to rust in peace anyway the sad thing is that rust in peace was released at the same time metallica released their eponymous
  19. "spot stealing is wrong" > whoever was at the spot first has the right to it > if you leave a spot, and return later, the person who came second should defer to you > whoever joined runescape first and used a spot first has the right to it > elitism is good, kids oh and also: competition is immoral irl? u sure bout dat?
  20. megadeth is a pretty cool guy eh gets kicked out of metallica and doesn't afraid of haroin
  21. I can already see where this is going. Calling people stupid who disagree with you... So you'd bring back free trade like it used to be, along with the host of problems we had before. In reference to the OP's original question, I'd have to say no. no it's more so that you are wrong what problems are you referring to? scamming and cash rwting? i'd take those over stuck markets, price manipulation, junk trading, and the plague of self-botted accounts i see today.
