Anyone got any info as whether or not the new guys drop more fragments/tears/weapon parts?

I doubt they individually added drops to every monster, but more a global thing that it may just be easier to add the same ammount to each monster rather than fine tune them for each monster.

Nope, switching sides will cause you to lose all renown (the currency you buy stuff with), rank and votes left over from the previous faction, and will not be restored if you ever switch back. Not that it actually matters a lot, switching sides with 1500 tears in your inventory should let you start with a silver token, so in effect you'd have a head start. With regards to the Tear rate, i'll let you all know later on today, I have about 1500 tears in my inv, so I should start with only x4 tear at the start.

Who has time to get 2k tears a day :s the drop rate is pitifully slow... I spend about an hour and half (at most) at the battle ground and got 2k tears daily without having much problems. The max a day is 3k, and the most torturous drop rates are towards the end, the beginning is pretty quick. However this assumes you value tears remotely anywhere close to XP (I do not value XP remotely as much as other people do). Besides, I was speaking in a more relative term, for a Max of 3k tears a day, an average of 2k tears daily for rewards from both sides is rather tame, since you have plenty of breathing space.

Generally the token class will not be an issue, the amount of tears you would have to gather for your items generally will put your token to pretty close, if not well over, the token requirement. For example, the t3 armor parts cost a total of 10k and dragon token, a dragon token takes 10,500, so you would be very close to its requirement by simply collecting the tears you need to buy it.

It is actually quite doable. At a modest count of 2k tears a day, you'll manage to get 140k tears in the time BoL is on (70 days). According to wikia, the current cost of items, per side, total to 65,500, so you'll only really need 131k tears for both sides, so 2k tears a day covers it quite nicely. Assuming of course they don't increase the costs of the items, again. And yes, you get 3 weapons from each side, as well as a 'dropped' title (I believe Virtuous and Powerful are side exclusive). You can make all 6 by getting 100 a day, which can be done in the time you are getting the 2k tears. I do have 1 small gripe, the buyable titles on both sides differ only in color (zam is red, sara is blue), otherwise the titles are identical...

Or, sabotage from within, possibly making sure the conflict goes in a way that one of them will die, and therefore one less to worry about.

If accuracy is ever an issue, Void will win without a doubt. Otherwise, given the damage on chins, Armadyl/Pernix will probably be better for dps. I have no idea how it would work in real though, I am working on numbers.

Anyone know if you get to keep all your tears in your inventory when you switch sides? I am pretty sure i kept a few hundred when I switched, but I plan to switch with 10,500 tears,

In Barrows I don't actually switch weapons at all, I just simply mage the whole lot, which is partially how I can do barrows I do them at (since I don't have to worry about weapon switching, I can concentrate on adrenaline stall).

They are not, in fact 3 are from skills (out of possible 4) I personally collected the fishing one (Boundless) two days ago.

I would use God cape, the attack bonus on it is much more noticeable than the loss of 9 defence points from an obby cape, but... there is this issue of trying to replace the cape if you die with it.

You mean safe spotting by binding him or safe spot by blocking him on something? If you mean by binding, I generally tend to find myself to be on a weapon switch cooldown when Binding shot wears off, and the fact that his max hit is absurdly high, tend to aggrevate me, a lot. If you mean by blocking, I am pretty sure all safe spots have been removed in an update a long time ago. I routinely avoid Akrisae now because he slows my runs down dramatic enough that it's more beneficial for me to skip him completely. Lastly, I find binding to be more hassle than it's actually worth, I just simply use impact and take the first hit, (which tend not to be alot, since all barrow brothers barring Akrisae have a max hit of around 1000), use soul split to heal it back.

Sorry for Hijacking the thread, but is the new music engine applying only to the New sound tracks, or has the old ones been updated as well? I think I noticed the old ones sounded same as before.
