Pots are 5k ea on the official forums, look for pot sales. I'd kill Iron dragons, they're a lot easier to kill compared to metal and their chance to drop rates are only a bit smaller.

Sooo from 5k shots you friend got 5k dragonbones? It's a spell that maxes 8, and he's firing it at a creature that is know for its excellent mage defence. Not to mention it has like 100hp :? .Usre, it's cheap xp that gives you hp but apart from that it isn't that brilliant. I'll take my chaos runes and matching gauntlets over that any day.

Energy pots will be a big help too.

Give him a rune pickaxe/ hatchet and a set of full rune and he'll be back on his feet in no time.

The MM reward gives 20k to all combat stats, and an additional 15k to the stats you chose.

Go to the official forum and look under the farming section, people will sell you unenchanted magic amulets. You'll need 27 magic to enchant it though.

Nothing too shocking happened, whip prices dropped a lot so get one of those :) .

Imo steel armour is the fastest, at your level you can easily 2-hit it and tehy drop 15 tokens per kill. take some spare platelegs though, they break sometimes.

From what I've heard, it's usually around 2.5-3 hours (1500-1800 tokens) so you're a bit below average. It took me 2k (and I'm using my defender rigth now :P ).

Or to confirm what someone else already said, if a lotof people give the same advice it's a lot more likely that it really is good advice. Craftign guild is the best spot.

What should I wear when attempting this quest? The shadows hit hard even on rune, so I was thinking about initiate or monks robes. And what to carry in my inventory? Those mirrors and crystal take up a lot of room...

Have you done Eadgar's ruse? That quest gives you 12k herblore xp.
