Go to the tip.it calculator and check how many curses you have to cast in order to reach 59 magic. Buy runes at the Port Sarim rune store until you have the desired amount of runes. Stop buying and switch worlds whne the rune store stock goes lower than 500 below its maximum (that way you'll never pay more than 4gp per rune). Don't forget your earth staff! Now, for the really boring part: Put your full rune on. Go to the jail. Curse the poor prisoners. If everything goes wll, you'll splash all of your spells and get some fast magic xp!

Buy iron and coal, smith them into steel bars and sell them for profit. Buy cowhides, tan them and make hardleather bodies. It won't cost any more than 200k to get lvl 50.

I think the armour piece will be a cape or some gloves, nothing too special. And I like how they're going to introduce it because it looks a lot like Melzar's maze :P .

You should check out the runescape rares forum; there' only 3 people buying on the entire page. Santas adn masks have dropped by 2m, and the lesser phats are also dropping.

I call all my cats "mister phr33 deaths pl0x" and I don't really care about my cats...

The only rares that will drop in price are the lesser rares; the real merchanter won't sell a phat just so he can buy a new wall.
