I'd always recommend getting some cash together and making hides as soon as you can. Not just dragon hides, but leather etc. Get hides yourself if you can, but quickest way is to buy, make then sell again. May lose a fair bit of cash, but for me, it was really quick.

Playing a few hours a day, it took me maybe 3 days? I can't remember how many tokens that was, but i think it was fairly quick. I always expected it to take me ages, and was pleasantly surprised.

Someone's already suggested the best way. Don't forget there's a general store there for useless rubbish. You'll lose money in the long run over selling at G.E, but as it won't sell there, flog to general store and at least you get summat for it!

Think you've got confused about the drop trade changes. You can still powermine, as what you drop is discarded. Powermining granite if members, or iron if f2p is the best way to go.

Smithing pretty simple. Mine coal and iron into steel bars like you were going to. To take it one step further, smith the bars into steel platebodies. They sell or high alch for a decent profit.

I also use dragon hides. It can cost you quite a bit, but is really quick. In my view it's the best way to go in terms of speed. Any particular level you are going for?

If you want only xp, then granite in desert is your best bet in my opinion. If you want decent xp and some cash too, then try fight caves. Theres a few gold and silver ores there, and if no-one else is there, it respawns at a decent enough rate. Bank is right by aswel.

As i see it, it encourages people to use the wilderness properly, and travel deeper to fight. If you're going to stand around near the boundary anyway, chances are, someones going to run.

I'm much more of a skiller, and I think from this that you are not. Your combat is good. 9/10, but because of your non-combats, 6/10 total. Work on some of your lower skills, and you can get them up in no time. :)

Hi, please rate my stats. Currently working on mining level, which I want to be my first 99. I know some of my stats are low, and combat is fairly poor, but I don't really train combat much - 84 combat, 1300 total. Please rate. Thanks! I could be wrong, but don't you have to be a member to post on the offical RS forum? And that screenshot ^^ says that it helps your chances if you post on their forums. Therefore, it may be easier for members to become player mods. At the end of the day, if you deserve it, you'll get it, but really i don't think there is much special about being a player mod. It might be nice, but they don't really get any major benefits.

It's lame and pathetic. Sad, sad losers that have to resort to this.

Lol, yeah sorry dude. I wasn't on here. I mean add me on rs and PM me. If i have this open as well, i get too much lag, which obviously i can't afford when pking... even in bronze. :P Add me if you want, and i'll be happy to come with you sometime. :)

What do you think needs improving about the gameplay. Besides.. i think you'll find that it would take an incredible amout of work and indeed would probably result in taking RS offline for quite a while in order to switch it to another programme.. and it just doesn't need doing.

OK, if you are ranting about lag... Lag is not due to the engine that jagex uses. Their software is fine. If you are experiencing lag, it is because your computer cannot handle it. Nothing to do with the engine behind rs itself. And yes, jagex can make updates, they have recently bought out a number of new quests, and are bringing out a new skill at the end of this month.

Um, java is an applet. Meaning this is some kind of runtime software, unless i'm mistaken. Like flash. Microsoft and sony are seperate,major companies. They simple make software and programs.

I'm kinda bored right now, so I'm going to go pking f2p with full bronze. Just wondered if anyone wanted to join me. Add me if you do... must be kinda soon though. I'm going to make a few sets so I can go a few times. :) just a bit of fun!

Cash is good... i never have any though, because I spend it on skills as soon as i have it.. arrows/b bones etc.

It's gotta be pking in full bronze. It's so much more fun to Pk, when you know that you have nothing to lose, and it makes you look like a complete noob. Very entertaining. :P ..... which reminds me, i'm running low on full bronze. If anyone wants to go full bronze pking on f2p... add mee!! :D

Depends on what your starting cash is. Maybe you should say how much you're willing to spend. I'd say that ores are usually pretty good, but i'm not a very strong merchanter.
