OK, i had a massive break from RS, of like 8 months.. only playing again since like august, and since then i haven't had to buy any iron... nor have i had to for ages. But since when was it 100gp ea for iron?? When i stopped playing it was 25ea and coal was 150ea.... How come its gone up so much?! its almost worthwhile me mining iron again now, as its so quick...

Well i'd say just mine it all and go for the xp, but hey, i'm kinda more into mining than most people.

I'd suggest buying coal, or any ores really, then selling for slightly higher. Repeat that, until you can do what jys072595 suggested.

I do steel plates. But to be honest, it's only worthwhile if you're going to mine and smith some yourself. I'm doing it atm because i want to get my smithing up aswell, but yeah, if it's just experience you're after, go for the breaking even idea. :)

Well yeah, technically, it wasn't quite right to do it, cause u said you were selling it as full rune (g). ...but. It's there in the trade window for the other player to reject. If they're not happy with that trade, more than likely they'd just cancel it and point out that you said full rune (g). Shouldn't do it.. But like i say, it's there to be rejected in the trade window.

yeah.. willows are really fast. not just because they cut fast, but because the bank is so close at draynor. but if ur member, i really recommend cutting willows till lvl 50 or so and switching to maples at seers. I got to lvl 70 doing that. from there i used yews behind varrock castle. So willows till bout 50/55 then maples to 70 and yews till 75 when do magics :) like mee basically though its up to you. some people prefer to cut willows all the way.. it might be faster :S but i doubt it at lvl 70. its what u want from it really.. for pure xp go for willows.. for real cash cut yews as soon as its viable :D
