  1. I started in Dec/Jan this year, became a member the same day as I joined runescape, after never playing a RPG before this game sorta takes over your life, I am nearly 10 months into the game, and am nearing 1600 total lvl, that is alot of playing time... I am currently going for 99 cooking from 88 over the weekend, cooking 60k lobs lol, if you got plenty of time, and dedication, you could max in a year 99 everything . but that would be 15hrs a day, I dont mess about too much and put it 8-10 most days. I would have thought I will be lvl 126 and max most stats by july/aug next year :edit: Actually I doubt I will get there that fast, I am starting to get a bit bored of this cooking lark hehe :)
  2. Runescape is not a game, it's a way of life.. It is also an extension of you as a person, like a virtual world that exists outside of real life, if it was not like this you would only play for a few hours a week and soon move on.
  3. Please can you add that you need a tinderbox? or did I miss that bit lol

There are so many things wrong with that post... One- You can't get banned for calling someon a noob... Two- You called him a noob because of his name? Big whoop... Who cares if he wants to be like Zezima, technically everyone does (The 99 all skill part.) And by calling him a noob that makes you the noob  Oh yes you can, and it has happened before :) It's one thing wanting to be like a player, it's another to call yourself it, oh and yeah I don't mind being called a noob :)

I always thought Jagex hated pures but yesterday saw a p mod called zezz1me, called him a noob for obvious reasons and am now awaiting a mute or ban lol :) (didn't know he was a mod) I would imagine he gets called it alot though :P
  6. I don't think you're allowed to post that site. :-w Double post :( Why can I not delete this post?
  7. I don't think you're allowed to post that site. :-w Tip.it police are worse than Jagex Anyway its on urban dictionary if anyone wants to see what it means
  8. /define.php?term=ftw]http://www.[ForbiddenSite]/define.php?term=ftw This should help :)
  9. That's harsh. Never trust people you say, what about family, your friends, your soul-mate? You shouldn't trust them? Just because you were breaking the rules by trying to by-pass the censor and your friend was doing the right thing, you say EVERYONE's untrustable? =; =; =; People are trustable, it's just weeding out the trust'ee's from the baddies. hehe, how about never trust anybody on runescape? I never report people, with 2 exceptions 1- they are cheating (macroing, scamming... etc) 2- they are intentionally acting extremely inappropriate to bother people (just spamming because you think it is funny, or even having fun dodging around the censor is not serious enough to merit a ban) One time I told a slightly off-color joke, and a wanna-be mod reported me. I was terrified  I think people put far too much work into their accounts to lose it just because of some poor judgement on their part that didn't really hurt anyone. Like RAHK said, if the person is really bothering you, the ignore list is much easier. You hit the nail on the head, people have to remember runescape takes up alot of time and hard work, and now and again people will swear or curse, we are all only human and I am a bit worried about people being banned. I have also noticed an increase in 13yr old player Mods, I am not against youngsters giving it a shot, This must go to show they are reporting for every little incident to get their tally up. I'm with Bob on this one :)
  10. Too many wannabe mods around who will report you for any stupid thing, I only report someone who is blatently swearing and being abusive, there is swearing and there is abusive swearing, I am an adult and can differentiate between the two, I also have a ignore button if someone is annoying me. I could also tell if someone was being abusive when I was 13, If your old enough to play Runescape you are old enough to hear swear words imo, sexual swearwords are not nessesary but the odd s**t and D**n here and there is not going to kill anyone. Swear at your own risk, it's against the rules, and you may get banned, and on a side note never trust anyone in Runescape even if you think they are your best mate, you will get burnt :)
  11. I don't agree, PC is a great way of getting xp and making new friends, and I am prob alot older than most Runescape players, I recently joined Affliction too, and it makes training more fun, how can you say it's a bad thing when you can sit at bandit camp for 2 weeks and level just as quick but be lonely and boring? pc has made combat soo much easier you dont level nearly as quick @ bandits(i dont like bandit training either but still) as you do with pc i believe that pc has actually become the new way of complain about rsc to rs2 products, seriously... pc has gapped the bridge from rsc and rs2 products, to now pc products. i was playing some hardcore pest control when gettin 99 str, and i was getting(literally a level of strength a day at lvl 95-99 str.) someone gave me an estimate of the exp for 100 pc points, 45k(melee exp for getting 50+damage) for 100 points, and i believe my max amount of pc points in a day was like 700 and an average of 400-500 daily at this time 700 a day!!!!!! ??? Thats 14hrs minimum of playing runescape and solid winning at pest, yeah pest control would be pretty benificial, but the averege RS player would get around 100 points a day maybe a few more. Even if you get 500 points your still looking at 10 solid hours of doing pest control, if your dedicated enough to do it then why can't you get the rewards?

  13. Ummm I started playing Xmas 2005 and I have a total level of 1526, so I would imagine I play more than most :) I am lucky as I can play at work, plus my missus and kids play RS
  14. Nests are really wierd, you cannot even note them when they are uncrushed, whats that all about? On the same topic but slighty different, is there any other non stackable items that are not noteable?
  15. How did you get quest cape with 50 range? Mourning's End requres 60. And Mourning's End part2 requires 70 range (edit : I was wrong 60 is ok too) appologies
  16. There is a lot of abnormalities in Runescape like this, like why can you trade a New Crystal Shield but you can't trade crystal teleport gems :( I think Jagex get's a bit lazy or has future plans maybe
  17. Of course the legends cape can't be traded. You need to have certain lvls to acomplish. If you read the OP's post you will realise what a silly answer that is :)
  18. Quest cape Emote quest cape in action
  19. Don't get me wrong I am not upset about the updates Jagex gives, I think they work hard, I would just like to see some fun things happen more often, other games like Guild Wars can do it, and they don't charge Monthly payments.
  20. I needed 1 emote to make the whole zombie up, I tried burying every bones for ages, if you want to get it, try ranging wolfmen in canfis pub, collect the bones then bury I had 3 over the weekend, getting from lvl 63 - 70 range :)
  21. hey man... you are playing jagex' game. they are not making yours. JaGEx does not have to do anything fast. they make the game, so they make the rules dont they  You are correct, but we also pay Jagex per month to play "their" game, and for this sum we expect content for our ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50 per year. I am not saying Jagex have to bring out updates, but due to the fact players pay monthly, they are obliged to bring them out. So many people keep saying "Jagex don't have to do anything" but you are wrong, they do have to do things otherwise people would just cancel their subscriptions, they might make the rules, but we pay the bills, never forget this :) I never mentioned updates, these should still go ahead as planned, holiday updates are also not what I am talking about. I am talking about evenings after 4pm perhaps once a week, just somthing to break up the routine, I have only been playing for 9 months but i pay Jagex ton's of money per year for 4 subscriptions and would like to see somthing to keep the "majority" of scapers happy.. I am not talking about a recode of the game as such, just a small tweak to make somthing more interesting :P
  22. I would like to see some fun brought into Runescape.... How about making drops happen for just one night, perhaps a whip drop event where for 6 hours at a certain time blue dragons drop whips, or d2h. We need more fun, it would not take much from Jagex to increase our enjoyment and throw in some special events.. Also I would like to see the update day changed to Saturday or Sunday, I know this might be difficult for the Jagex devs but I think bringing an update out on a Monday is asking for trouble especially as this game is aimed at kids, once they get to know an update is coming out on weekday they seem to suddenly get a headache or stomach ache :) After reading the TIP.IT poll the other week on how old is the av player I noticed they were mostly of school age, sp please Jagex bring more fun into runescape, and release updates in a certain date but throw some curveballs in to keep players on there toes. How hard would it be to change the farming ratio on rannars for 1 evening to double amounts, or Runecraft double laws for 6 hrs only, this is what I would like to see. Why not make Runescape less serious and more enjoyable, so when kids get home from school they can't wait to play (god I should work for Jagex) :)
  23. Yup this is what we need, big bold text with the item and amount so it would look somthing like this 1000 DEATH runes Then the picture underneath, this is not rocket science Jagex, my gf son plays the game, and you try explaining to a 13yr old how he is supposed to tell the difference between a leaf bladed spear and a guthans....... I always check the 2nd window and even i have been scammed before. Stand in world 2 at the barrows section and see how many people are trying to scam you, with 2 extra plate skirts etc
  24. Everyone saying the new update is babyish etc, well I don't think it's babyish and before I complain I will always give somthing a fair chance, I actually love the update and think Jagex have out done themselves again, oh and i am 33 yrs old :) and my missus is 34 and she loves it too, so do the kids hehe... On a side not, I can feel this new bank coming closer and closer, anyone else agree?
  25. I had my addy Defender and after reading this post thought I would try for my rune, I got the first rune after 160 tokens, then the 2nd one came whithin 80 tokens, the 3rd never did though :(
