I 0tarted playing RS in dec 2005, after I came off noobie island I was in a free server, and tried to go in the varrock sewer, then tried a few other things and it kept saying you need to be a member, etc etc So I joined there and then, and have played soooo many hours since, I think becoming a member straight away is a good thing, member servers have more helpfull people, and members are usually richer, so you can do jobs for them.

How strange, I got a black mark for advertising and its now gone :) Congratulations! There are no offences on this account

I think you should lose the attitude. What exactly was "arrogant" about my post? And the "attitude" is not very happy right now, because this whole mess really disgusted me. Disgusted you because people lost items, or because someone abused a bug? People will abuse a bug and it's Jagex responsibility to stop it, from what I can see, this guy went on a rampage for at least an hour and had pmods following him everywhere, yet he still carried on and he even says he spoke to to a Jmod, surely the servers could have been downed once a pmod tells a jmod, if not they need to have some sort of backup plan should a mess like this happen again. If anyone deserves to have anger thrown at them it's jagex, but they are getting so big now (game wise) this is going to happen more and more, and as we have learnt, they don't have the rescources to cope at this scale? Oh and if you do own these forums, can you give the Hamster a kick :)

The trees on Ape Atoll are great but there is some info you need. You can cut trees as a monkey, this stops you getting poisioned but bring 1 anti just incase... Also it's quickest to bank at gnome vil bank when collecting teaks from ape atoll, but remember you will drop your gree gree when you leave the island ( I have lost 3 so far :) ) so either try and leave a space in your bag, or change back to axe before you board the boat to leave.. :P

well its 1.3mil for me wit 6k oak logs to get from 55 - 66 How do you work that out? 6k oak logs x 250 each to cut into planks = 1.5m Demon Butler can cary 24 logs at a time thats roughly 500 trips to bank/sawmill @ 10k every 60 planks = ̣̉1m So thats 2.5m just to go up 11 levels, thats not including buying oak logs @ 0.95 each = 600k (give or take a few gp) Total 3.1m GP

You know, i wish people would quit always saying "chinese" gp farmer this and "chinese" that. First off, they're not all Chinese. Saying a general statement like that is dumb, and offends people. just worked it out, using the butler it's going to cost me 2m+ to get from lvl 55 to level 66, that's not including the 1.5m for 6k oak logs, still cheaper than buying 6k oak planks at 700 each This skill has just got insanely expensive..... It was expensive before :)

Hm yeah, I guess it is around .5 seconds faster. It's actually slower if using lower level servants... I will explain.. When you don't owe the servant any money he gives you your unoted logs/planks as soon as he returns which is fine, but if your trying to lvl construction fast, it's better to owe him money, as when he returns he doesn't give all the logs to you, so you can carry on building/removing that mahogany bookcase or whatever you are doing. I always give him my next set of unoted logs as I take the planks off him, but the servant will return just as your halfway through rebuilding your bookcase, if he has a full inv he will wait about for a bit, then your planks/logs will be put into your bank, but if you owe him money, he will wait forever untill you speak to him again. This may not make sense but you get the gist of it :) This doesnt count when you get to lvl 50 as the demon guy is super fast .:P

Please don't post information if it is incorrect, you DO NOT have to pay to un-note logs and use sawmill, only to serve drinks and food, and greet guests. Nothing has changed from day 1 Just clearing this up :)

I don't think there is such a thing as inflation in Runescape, Inflation only really happens when there is a fixed supply of money, but the supply of money in runescape is not controlled, Jagex don't stop money coming into the game like a government does. Inflation would only happen if for example Jagex released a skill or a new thing that made everyone rich, inflation doesn't really mean that things have increased in price (inflation means more money has been released) Everything has fallen in price for one reason, because a new skill has come along, and everyone is selling all their worldy possesions, including some of the richer people in the game, the Runescape economy will prob dip for a week or 2 but everything will get back to normal, maybe not quite as high, but it won't be far off. What could happen though, is a recession, no new money is coming into the game, and everyone is spending, only time will tell :)

Currently lvl 51, spent in excess of 3m Most of the money has been spent on converting planks from miscalania, i get roughly 200 teak and 200 mahog a day, I ploughed over 1m into that island :) alot of money spent on runes also, now I have the demon butler everything is speedy :)

Lol :) You would only get banned if you have an "unfair" advantage over other players, as every player can do this how can it be bug abuse? If Jagex wants to fix it, report it as a problem, but to me it hardly sounds like it's worth it. Everyone knows you can click prayer on/off quickly but it takes longer to kill the monsters as it misses a turn with the whip, although this will still be faster than say using a d2h.

i wonder how many people have alch'd their whip, I alch'd mine a few months ago in varrock, I was clicking away happilly when suddenly a Evil Chicken arrived, so i click my whip to own it but I forgot I was on the alch stroke and boom, 3m down the drain, earlier in the day I Alch'd my lava battle staff as well :) I think alot of it comes from watching tv while you alch, I listen for the 2nd sound and then know i can click again, all while not watching the screen.

Well the Ammy doesnt work properly :( It doesn't work with the default clothes, or at least what I wear :) Wearing Dharocks works ok though

how does teleother while killing dharock harm you? dont you get teled somewhere? i always have accept aid off while doing barrows, but i thought it was because so ppl dont tele u when u open the chest and dont have enuf inventory room. so they get the stuff Its because the window pops ups while you are fighting and stops you eating/praying etc

Ok I just had one of these famous scams tried on me, but fortunatly thx to tip.it forums I knew the score and was prepared, I will give you a brief run down of what happened, The guy, a repectable lvl 97 came up to me with the "I want to make a Video" spiel and i thought I'm up for this (as I knew about the scam already) plus I wanted his 3 items, so off we go to the wildy, he was feeding me some bull about how it's going to be on TV and I was taking it all in :) So on the way he wants to trade with me to see if I have any things in my inv, hmmm I thought, I have been rumbled, so he tries to trade and offers me 70% lobsters 4 mystic blue tops a dds 10 air runes and 5 law runes, well obviously I couldnt accept so i declined, and said ohh I forgot I got my cooking gauntlets in my inv, he tells me to drop them, but I say "no" lets pop to the bank and put it back in, just to stall him a bit, I deposit the so called gloves, which was infact an ectophiral and withdraw 10 air runes and 5 law runes, this time when he checks to see if I have empty inv I have ..... So we get to the spot, lvl 8 wildy north west of edgeville, Ichecked his mage on the way to see if he could tele block me, but he couldnt, so he goes to trade with me I needed to accept the trade so I could report him, so I accepted but he declined, so he then tried again and he accepted this time, but I declined. I then tele'd to Ardy and reported him for Item Scamming, which technically he has not done, but according to the report they can see 60 secs before and after the trade. and I hope he will be banned and lose a nice level 97 account. Sorry i didnt take his blue mystic tops guys, but I thought that was a little imorral, and I would rather see these people banned then carry on abusing people. I pm'd him to inform him I had reported him, and he cried about how someone tried the trick out on him,and how he lost his whip. let's hope this is a lesson to scammers out there, we know these tricks and will report you if you try them :) So PICKLE9** your cards have been marked :) Sorry for the long post..
