There is something called Protect from Melee which halves damage from other players you know :wink: But saying that even still, we need new food, something that can heal 30. Im sure there's enough cooks in the game so that this food would be available easily enough :)

It has a 4 speed rating, so that means it's the speed of a battle axe and war hammer.

Excellent research, however I doubt we'll see Zaros 3rd Age Mage. Mainly because he died in the 2nd Age, the 3rd Age was the rise of Zamorak :P and most of the force were Mahjarrat and didnt need robes to increase magic power because magic was natural to them, unlike humans. Again, great research, nice read about the steam staff! My desire for Armadyl range gear has gotten bigger and i've already liquidated most of my assets so I can eventually buy the Bandos Chest Plate and Tasset. :D

But before you get to that dungeon, you'll be getting ambushed by every other army and it'll be awfully hard to maintain the 70hp needed. This update is great, it's a high levelled team challenge, you seriously need your wits about you. And it'll probably be easier to fight off the boss monsters minions if you are on worlds with fewer people (longer respawn rates), I think...

It's probally NOT in the trollheilm place. :shock: well spotted. After reading that i agree, it fits together Kudos Island I agree, but it also fits perfectly with the trollheilm place. A large black square, in an icy frozen wasteland, it kinda screams God Wars Dungeon. Maybe they are connected though, we will have to wait and see. :ohnoes: Perhaps when you go to the island via the museum, it takes you to an island just above the ice plateau? perhaps they are connected. Kudo's island is north of Morytania, it has no connection to the wilderness at all.

Im not suffering any lag, so I say no update..not yet atleast, in the mean time I am going to fish lobbies, I don't have any food for the dungeon :oops:

I'll try my best to explain it. First of all, if you've done Desert Treasure, you should be familiar with the route already. If not then.... Tele to Trollheim. Go down the mountain and head north west, there should be a pathway going northwards. If it's the right route it should start snowing, and you'll soon reach an Ice Gate. Go through the gate, head east and go straight for the little cavern thingy, try to get past the Ice trolls as quick as possible. Once on the other side, follow the path, east, then north and then west. There is lots of extremely high levelled white wolves and it's multi combat so get out of the way fast! After some time going west, you'll reach a spot that looks like it holds some significance, this could be one possible location of the dungeon. However it is most likely further north! So continue going north and you may see an ice path, avoid it, this is for desert treasure and it requires [bleep]y boots anyway. Continue north! You should be at the end of the map now. This could be further extended with the update revealing the GWD cavern. *note* The snow storm CANNOT kill you! Once your HP is at 1 it will go no lower, it would be wise to at the final step to begin stat restoring and regaining any lost HP. Upon entering the dungeon would be a suitable time to use super sets and restore run energy as i'll assume stat reductions will not happen there. *edit* and this is only of course, if this is the definite location! :P I would probably prefer risking my valuables going through the wildy then the trek from Trollweis.

It's at ice plateau, there's a black space there and i'm already standing there :$. I'm 100% sure it's today. Someone has already said it but yeah, it's inaccessible from the wildy, perhaps a very high agility may let you get up there that way. But the dwarf book say's he accessed it via going north of Trollheim. Which means your run energy going down to zero and lots of stat's dropping 1 point every 10 seconds i think. So make sure you take stat restores because you may try to tele out and find you're not a high enough level to even cast varrock teleport if your not careful then imagine all the loot you and possibly others would drop and i'll happily collect gleefully \ ...joke :) It's probally NOT in the trollheilm place. The problem with that is the area for the island is north of Morytania. And I doubt hot springs from the wilderness are going to thaw out an area that far away, especially since the hot springs are on the west of the wildy, which happens to be right near a big black spot north of Trollheim. And the dwarf book mentioned that big black spot that also happend to have a big epic fight going on that included bird-like people...aka, the Aviantese, followers of Armadyl :)

Expect an update sometime between 11am - 3pm today. (within 2-6 hours). I've heard quite a few people say that J-Mod's have confirmed that there's an update today, but never actually seen the confirmation from the J-Mod's themselves. But im fairly certain it'll be today anyway. Don't forget your ropes people, and if it is north of Trollheim, do not forget your stat restore potions and possibly something to bring up run energy, having zero run energy and having stat's 20 points lower will not be too helpful for the dungeon imo. :P

Random Events..err not so random?
Yesterday I decided to start fletching 93k maple logs into longbows. I did 3000 and ended up with 3 mimes! I think inventory space may have some factor, my inventory was always full. Luckily the mime items would appear on the floor of the bank, so i could just quickly drop my maples briefly and then pick up and bank the mime stuff. My first mime was in 2006, and in total for the whole year I had 2 maybe 3, spent a few hours fletching yesterday and i've ended up with three. Ridiculous, but I am very glad to finally finish my mime set :thumbsup:

Chewed bones vs mith dragons.
Personally I welcome the high level updates and items we are getting but I'd much rather have them become untradeable, so that it shows your effort and such you went into getting them. 3rd age armour, the dragonfire shield, the dragon full helm, they are all just tools for the rich, the merchantisers, just so they can make money and yet the people who would actually use them for their intended purposes are forced to practically never obtain them, or pay out extortinate prices which make them useless to use in regular combat and training because of the fear of losing far too much money. Gah hope im making sense :oops: it isn't easy trying to write something up after coming back from the pub :XD:

How strong are your virtues
1. If a friend from RL lent you a party hat to wear once and give back, would you take it? I would wear it and give it straight back, my friends always share their dragon, barrows and other random bits and pieces and I do the same for them. 2. If an ingame friend gave you his partyhat to wear then give back, would you take it? If someone trusted me enough to let me wear it, I would and give straight back after doing so, but I don't think I would ever do the same thing for them. 3. If a rich person you hardly knew lent you his partyhat to wear and give back, would you take it? I would treat them the same as an ingame friend. 4. If you knew someones password, and knew they were rich, would you take thier stuff? Im doing well by myself, and I believe what goes around comes around. So I'd just leave it. 5. Would you kill a skulled person in the wilderness for a partyhat? I'd give it a go! If they are in the wilderness with it, they may as well just trade it to me and say I don't want it back! 6. Would you accept a duel with a much lower level that stakes all his money (say 5 mil)? If they do that, then sure. Although they probably have something up their sleeve. 7. If someone died, and dropped something valuable, would you give it back. AND how valuable would it have to be for you to keep it? I'll turn my private chat to on and also would wait to see if they come back for it. If they make any contact with me I'll be glad to give it back to them for nothing. If there's no response then i'll keep it to myself.

No update...
They updated the servers this week to handle future updates, I doubt that they will do an update again this week because they could of just updated the servers along with the new content rather than taking servers offline twice in the same week. I think we'll be seeing a double whammy so to speak next week. God Wars dungeon, and the bits and pieces update.

Possibly no update's this week and a big whammy of them next week. The servers were updated yesterday to handle future updates, so Jagex may decide they won't take the servers off for major updates two days in a row. Not like that's stopped them before...but yeah :anxious: If we do get any updates today it'll probably be in 2-5 hours

The game tweaks for this month are: - better examine descriptions on some items (which should help establish where they come from) -some graphical changes, making potentially dangerous game areas LOOK more dangerous. With it being graphic changes I suppose they could be a stand alone update and could come this week.

Scythe-0 Bunny Ears-0 Rubber Chicken-1 Yoyo-1 I was on holiday during the Bunny Ears drop and I went to a Halloween party at my friends during the Scythe drop, we thought they would still be tradeable so he was going to get another one and give it to me. No luck #-o
