I think that monster thing is the Experiment #2 in the sewers of the witches house at Taverly.

We are going to get little tidbits on a very big update for next year. Oh my oh my, it's either going to be a new skill or perhaps a big graphics overhaul? Similar to what they did when revealing bits about RS2...or something completely different. :XD: I personally cannot wait for the grand exchange, it's going to make things sooo much easier. I could go put a huge amount of red chinchompa's on sale, and let them sell themselves whilst I go hunt for more. And most importantly! Whatever it is that you want in return, will be what you get! Rather then expecting say 14m cash and someone wasting your time with a a bunch of items which you just don't want...hopefully! Woohoo!

They basically do this every week, normally on a Tuesday morning, this has no real discussion value. Once it's sorted it'll be removed from the front page as usual and it will barely have any effect on any players. Maybe I should post this same topic every 1 or 2 weeks and spam my post count up. Awesome.

I believe it appeared when Lumbridge had a graphical update, it's been there for such a long time. I've passed by it many times when I get bored and make new accounts to kill chickens :thumbsup:

I dissagree tho. I think its useful as it encourages people to kill in groups, rather than just solo-ing monsters. Jagex is trying to make group partipation more effective than just going by yourself to kill a monster. Bascailly there now making: Teamwork > Solo. Which is the way it should be? Say you were at GWD on the old system, and some higher level kept taking your drops from your team, because he can pull out much higher specials. Now, a group of lower levels can stand a chance getting a drop. It's making monsters that are meant to be teamed well....actually getting teamed. May not seem good currently because over time new methods of fighting have come about that have made most boss monsters possible to solo. Im thinking Jagex will release a very high levelled boss monster in the near future where this system will really start to show it's benefits.

It's hard enough to find a server to KQ on when all are available, when you're left with a small amount of servers that aren't lootshare are going to be packed with soloers, thus forcing you to go to lootshare servers. And the problem still stands, for example at GWD I go with one other person, we could be using lootshare ourselves, a group fo 5 come who are also using lootshare, the 5 of them will most likely deal more damage than 2 combined and will get the drop 99% of the time, whereas before the 2 people stood a decent enough chance of getting the drop. You have 40 servers to choose that don't have lootshare (39 English language, 1 German). Sure 25 servers have been dedicated to lootsharing, but still that's a lot of choice. It's still easier to get hold of a world to KQ, DK, etc then it is to get a world for Red Chinchompa hunting! :P

Is it really? I assume you still get combat experience? And kinda on the same note, I saw a level 3 skiller today and he had 45 Slayer. I was rather wowed.

I believe it's comparable to the enchant, but requires much less clicking (one spell click per invent) And how does it fair to the enchant in cost? Enchant level 6 From 86-99 Magic you need to cast the spell 97,285 times. You need 1 cosmic per spell. Cosmics are 232 each. You will spend 22,570,120gp String Jewellery From 86-99 Magic you need to cast the spell 113,695 times. You need 2 Astral runes per spell, so that's 227390 Astral Runes. Astrals are 180 each. You will spend 40,930,200 gp.

Varrock Armour still gives discount, so slightly cheaper for some runes in mass buying, however arrows aren't at a discount apparently. *edit* ah doesnt do runes either. Also more questions, does this mean blast furnace has infinite ore's now? Is there also infinite arrow heads, and infinite headless arrows (if those are actually sold)? If that's the case you could mass buy them, get some fletching exp whilst collecting all the arrows you could possibly want for 99 range!

So to get from 86 to 99 mage it would cost you 22,570,352 gp. And you'd also need a mud staff. It's about 97k cast's, which is about 20k cast's less than hi alch, and not as expensive as tele-ing (law's cost more). As long as you're not bothered about making money I guess that's pretty neat. Wonder if there's any other faster, relatively cheap-ish mage training now.

How much are cosmics? At 86 mage isnt level 6 enchanting the fastest mage exp? You could just buy x of however many you need and run off to the mage training arena and just enchant away.

Hmm i wonder what this could mean? :pray: I think Jagex are using a word pun. Bark as in tree bark? But then again the quest starts in Ardy...so a reward could be a dog from Lord Francis Handelmort. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Indeed. Less shopper bots, instead they'll go chop more wood, mine more ore and fish more. Cool. Im not excited by this month. Think i'll just give it a miss and play Halo 3 :)
