  1. Have you tried it to see for yourself? They don't include Opera or Chrome or whatever else because Firefox and IE are the most common.
  2. The skills have their own tab, and nobody really uses that. [/hide] What do you mean? A sense of humor. Do you have one? I have no clue what the new tab is, but the animations look nice.

  4. That's a really good postulation... but it would have to be because of pirates or some such. Sailors can navigate by the sun (sextant anyone?) or by the stars.
  5. We all know what the new icon is for. It's a sail on a ship. It's for sailing. In other news, I like the new animations. I again hope that they don't tweak something by accident and mess up age-old timing on things (eating between attacks or picking up drops between attacks).
  6. Read this. :D
  7. But remember the hp experience mage and range give. Unless you use non-combat spells and a cannon, you'll get HP experience which can level you up.
  8. I picked no pk and never changed it.. I could barely survive those big burly goblins and cows, let alone another player!
  9. Geez Jagex is teh smarts.. can't put it past them though that they'd let that one slip.
  10. The dice generate a random number that you can instantly display to your clan, and they know that you truly just generated that random number. Even if you had a dice roller program, you could falsify the results when you tell your clan. It's like quick chat- you could say "hey my range is 99 uber awesome," but that could leave doubt for some. With quick chat, the phrase comes straight from the game "My range level is: 99." so there is no doubt.
  11. Seems to me like it was just a quick-fix to stop all the rushers with claws and AGS. Maybe they'll think of something as a permanent fix later, kind of like trade restrictions and the GE... those were great updates.
  12. See that's where you got everything wrong. You know what it means to assume..
  13. I think a list of updates that had little to no impact would be easier to compile. Then leave it up to people to find the compliment of that list in the super set of RS updates.
  14. You made two topics on essentially the same thing. Immersion can definitely lead to addiction. Your two topics should probably be merged.
  15. So are we talking about types of addictions or the difference between real life and RS? Make up your mind. Some people enjoy RS- as well as other MMOs- because they can immerse themselves in a world completely detached from their every day lives. This can lead to lots of bad things, such as addiction and procrastination.
  16. In Shilo? Well the Shilo gloves are best from that achievement diary. Another quick way is Ardougne tele -> boat to Karamja -> cart to Shilo.
  17. This would be useful to have for f2p'ers to count how many kills they've done. Or the timer for farmers to time their crops while they do other things. Plenty of uses.
  18. Kill cows south of Falador from 10-30. Use bronze arrows- iron arrows are not necessary and are a waste of cash at this level. Sell all your hides on the GE and you should get some good money. Starting at 30 you can range Hill Giants in Edgeville Dungeon, but it will be slow. Best to start at 40 with green d'hide and iron arrows. Can move to minotaurs in SoS. Monks aren't worth it because of lack of drops. At 40, move to or stay at Hill Giants until 55-60. At this point, sell all your big bones for some great cash. From here you can move to lessers in Karamja. Keep with iron arrows and they should get paid for through drops. At all spots there are safespots (even at Falador cows, but you don't need one there). Use them wisely.
  19. Yea maybe inflation will start to slow with this one. Bold kick in the butt to 26kers.
  20. This has been mentioned before in an update.
  21. http://news.runescape.com/newsitem.ws?id=2026 Maybe they're moving the GE Database as well and haven't said anything about it.
  22. For easy transportation, do the Gnome Stronghold and Tree Gnome Village Quests for access to gliders and spirit trees. Plague City for Ardougne Teleport, Watch Tower quest for Watch Tower teleport (Yanille), Eadgar's Ruse for the Trollheim Teleport (useful for getting to God Wars Dungeon for ranging Aviansies). Train Construction at some point and you can mount a glory amulet inside for infinite glory transports. Ava's Accumulator is a definite. A good ranging spot is Neitiznot Yak pin. So, doing the quests for that (Fremennik Trials and Fremennik Isles) would be good. Also, Dwarf Cannon quest for a cannon- great ranging tool. Might invest some time in getting either snake-skin boots or frog-leather boots. These are your best range boosting footwear other than Ranger boots which cost a pretty penny. Do Horror From the Deep to get an Unholy (Zamorak) book. This gives the highest range boost in game for the shield slot (+8), so it's good to use when using a crossbow. It also provides a prayer boost, so it's two birds with one stone.
  23. Leaf bladed sword? I thought they would be weak against crush attacks (being made of metal) instead of stab (traditional dragon weakness).
  24. Hmm... I think your options are; Flesh crawlers, giant spiders, cockroaches. Those are the only answers you'll get on this thread, will be funny if someone repeats what i said lol.
