  1. You asked for the fastest. Other than that.. just a crossbow and mith bolts should net you decent experience. Just train on anything with high HP and low range def. I did bloodvelds in the GWD for a long time.
  2. The fastest is probably red chins on Ape Atoll, unless something new came up while I've been gone.. but are you taking into consideration price?
  3. Yes I know that. I had my subscription when they upped the price, and they said that existing members and members who signed up within 6 months wouldn't have to pay the new price. So I still paid $5 when they finally jacked up the price, but canceled sometime after that.
  4. I was thinking about resubscribing, but it tells me that I still have to pay the $5.95/month. I started membership when it was $5, and I was thinking I would get that rate if I signed back up. Now, the grandfathered-in thing doesn't count if you stop your subscription? I feel betrayed. :(
  5. People who like to say "You times it by.." instead of "You multiply it by..." "X times Y" is OK. It's the way you use the verb. I *think* the first example is an active verb and the second is an inactive or passive verb. It's supposed to be used as a passive verb. This also bothers me. As well as the overuse of "um", "uh", and "like." I say "uh" the most, but I'm actively trying to cut back on the usage because it makes me sound like I'm babbling and don't know what I'm talking about. Also, using "errr" when you're correcting yourself. "The answer was 345- errr- 346." Again, something I'm trying actively to stop doing. Also, unnecessary use of "I was going to say..", or "I was about to say.." Most of the time when people use it, it is unnecessary. Teabaggers in Halo. Also teammates in Halo who kill you because you either betrayed them by an obvious accident, took the weapon they were going after, or killed the person you were gonna kill. And teammates who kill you when you're about to get a flag capture so they can get the point. Aaand.. people in Grifball that complain excessively about betrayals. There's more. But I'm done.
  6. I would assume that there would have been a large surge as soon as a lot of people started getting 99 smithing back in RSC, where massive profit could be made easily. That wouldn't be a main source today, but it probably set up the market.
  7. People are so convinced that this is going to be coming out that they're making something out of nothing.. a la the shadows on the cape making a sailboat. Ever heard of LIGHTS and SHADOWS? People get so wrapped up in trying to find clues and evidence that they forget, ignore, and shun logical explanations and jump blindly to conclusions.
  8. This is freaking ridiculous.. unbearably hideous. Why the heck would you want a sailing skill? To drive around the sea with a boat? How fun.. why not just make it a mini game, as opposed to a whole 'nother money sink skill.
  9. Wow this is beautiful... the dance emotes are funny.. I made one as my avatar. I think that's Evim Mumm Ra behind me that sneaked into the picture.
  10. This looks really nice, and I hope it's a good sign of what's to come. I think that the graphics are going to need a lot of refining and fine-tuning once they're released, just as with the the transition from RS1->RS2. Yes Whew.. thank you for confirming that.
  11. Saniboch is probably pronounced San-e-bok.
  12. Care to explain? Apparently it's not "enough said."
  13. Do you have a blog, scout? If not you should put it into consideration.
  14. My first three Barrows drops ever. Yay what luck.
  15. Wow.. and how old are you again? It's like snickering "teehee... he said.. wiener!!"
  16. Wow, congratulations on the dragon legs. :D Well, good luck on your journey to 99 Slayer!
  17. Yep I got it to do it again when I killed a Fire Giant in the same spot.. more floating bones. ;)
  18. The big bones from the Fire Giant I killed appeared floating in the air. ;) Interesting.
  19. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/8929/tipitpic08ao4.png Well.. I posted on the first thread early on and my picture was never put on. So here it is again.
  20. You can't say numbers because you could use them to talk freely to other people.. kind of like a code, or even with 1337 speak. "101 647" = "lol gay"; something you can't even say normally.. just things like that. In other words, it's too much freedom to grant to the muted. The world also serves as a less crowded alternative for training, and for well-known people to get away from the crowds.
  21. I tried it out the first time I read this guide and it works wonders. ;) Thanks for this!
  22. You get slayer points by completing tasks consecutively. Turael tasks reset your counter (yes, that includes Burthoping). On your 5th task and every one after, you get points according to the master that gave you the task. Sumona gives 12 and Duradel gives 15. On your 10th and every multiple of 10th (20, 30,140, 1,510, etc.) task, you get a bonus of 5x the normal points. On your 50th and every increment of 50 (100, 150, 200, etc.) task, you get 15x the normal points. Points can be used at any slayer master by right clicking and selecting rewards. You can buy the knowledge to make the mask, a slayer ring, and broad arrows. Slayer Ring teleports you to various slayer locations and can tell you how many monsters you have to kill on your task. You can also just buy a ring if you can't/don't want to make one. You can buy casts for Magic Dart, broad arrows, and slayer exp.
  23. Well the new helm is a combo of all the Slayer Headgear.. A black mask for the +15% att/str bonus; the nose peg for spectres; the earmuffs for banshees; [bleep]ed helm for wall beasts; and a facemask for dustdevils. It's got stats similar to the dragon med I do believe. You can now skip a task from any slayer master with 30 pts. This does not count as a Burthoped task and therefore doesn't reset your count. You can permanently skip a task by getting the one you don't want from a slayer master, and using 100pts to add it to your blacklist. You get 1 permablocked task for 50qp, 2 for 100, 3 for 150, and 4 for 200 quest points.
  24. Yaaay finally! Now onto strength training.. Booo.
