You must not have played in RSC. This is a horrible idea that would re-allow the spread of autoers! People would simply fish and fish and fish without ever moving, not having to worry about dropping or banking. People would just mine and mine and mine, with all their ores falling to the ground. People will just chop and chop and chop, all their willows falling to the floor. This makes training these skills insanely easy to the point where they aren't really worth it anymore. Once people powertrain the stat, they'll be at the best money maker for that skill in no time. Be it sharks, magics, or Rune ore, the prices will all go down. I do not support and do not think it's a good idea to re-implement this idea.

Joe, it's not that the MSN slows the computer down. It's that the other person floods you with messages in an attempt to make your computer freeze up. Pretty much, you get so many messages at once that it just floods up your memory and CPU, which makes you unable to do anything else on the computer because it's going so slowly. I don't know if it is so much now, but I've heard that it's been used before as a scamming technique.

New situation: *You're minding your own business, training a nice AFK skill, such as woocutting. Since you have a Party Hat, you decide to flaunt it and wear it while you train. As you do, a person comes up* You: Hey, how are you? Other: Good, how about yourself? You: Pretty good. Other: Wow, nice party hat! You: Thank you =P Other: How'd you get it? You: Oh, I just got it over time. You know.. skilling, merchanting. Other: Ah, that's pretty cool. *You carry on a conversation with the other player, and become friends. After a while, he asks you if you'd like to talk on MSN* You: Sure! *Seeing as you've known him for a while now, you can trust him. So you give him your MSN name and you two begin to talk* You: So how're you doing today? Other: Pretty good. You: Oh hey, wait, I just got a Tree Spirit random. *Today you're woodcutting and you get a random. But this is where it all changes. The new "friend" begins to spam your MSN with random messages,which causes your computer to freeze up. You try what you can to fix it, but nothing works. You're still fighting the tree spirit, too. When you get everything fixed and log back in, you find yourself in Lumbridge with your axe and two magic logs.* You: OMG!!! He scammed me!!!! *The other player deletes you from his friends list and from his MSN and never talks to you again. You're crushed about the loss of your party hat.* But now what would you do? Why? If you agree with someone else, great, but try to explain your reasoning. If you disagree with someone, then tell why and then tell us what you would do. ~Lunar

29/30 Thieving. At 30, I'll do The Feud quest, which will net me a whopping 15k worth of experience, putting me in the upper 30s. I'll continue to steal cakes until I get to 38, at which point I'll switch over to Master Farmers, which will feed into my Farming goal later on. I'll be thieving Master Farmers until 50, and then I'm gonna do wall safes, as I've said before. And be looking for a little refurbishing of my blog. *EDIT* Is anyone having trouble accessing Draynor.net, or is it just me? Every time I try to go there, it gives me a 403 "Forbidden" error.

50 Smithing. Now that I rounded it off, I'm gonna go start thieving for some gems to finish up smelting. Then I'll hit 60 Smithing, and move onto other goals. I'll be in Ardougne stealing cakes for a while.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but here goes! This allows you to message multiple people at the same time without having to type out the message more than once. The more people you add, the smaller the font gets to fit them all in there (takes up two lines?). So yea, picture explains it all. Right click someone's name and hit "Add to message..", and repeat that for all the people you want to message. Instead of filling up the screen with "To Wiccan08" and "to What Rikku" etc, etc.. it will just say "You said: " And sorry for the bad quality of the text, it's as good as I could get it. I don't have the proper to correctly format the text to the way it needs to be.

So yea, I was smelting iron ores at Al-Kharid bank and noticed that with my current total level that I must be in the high scores now! So I logged out, checked my high scores, and sure enough, I'm listed in the Overall High Scores now! I'm super excited. I'm currently working on 60 Smithing, but I'm going to have to take a break soon to get more rubies so I can make more rings of forging to smelt the iron I got from 60 mining. So rate or comment or whatever! ~Lunar

Just hit 40 and am nearing the point of needing more Rubies and/or Rings of Forging. Looks like I might have to take a break for a while before I get back to 60 Smithing and go ahead with getting 60 Thieving for the gems. ~Lunar

I mined at Yanille mine from 31-60 mining, and this happened countless times to me. There will also be more situations later that deal with solely P2P things.

31 Smithing so far. I got my good friend to smelt my gold ores into bars seeing as I don't have the level for them yet. And then I crafted the rings, and he enchanted them. Woot! But that's only 25 Rings of Forging that I have. I need 23 more, and I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to obtain those. I might have to take a break from Smithing to get some Thieving done to get gems (from the wall safes). That should get me the extra 23 rubies that I need! Plus some emeralds that I can use for Dueling Rings for RCing fires. ~Lunar

Personally I think that we could do with a nice revamp of the combat system. But I don't think we should have one... why? Because of the rants. I can just see it now. People rant before updates come out, solely based on what they read in the BTS on the main site and from hearsay. People rant when an update comes out because JaGEx made such and such too strong or too weak or because they can't do it because they don't have this level or that quest. People rant after they "fix" the update because they liked it the way it was before. Runescape in this day and age can never be fitted to make everyone happy. I think we should just stick with the current combat system so as to not discourage people from playing and to not hear the rants. I can also hear it now.. "If we had the old combat system, i wud pwn you n00b." ~Lunar
