[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
103k more until next level.. that's almost 600 more yews to cut for the next level.. hopefully they'll be getting faster now.. Anyways.. I'm supposed to be going swimming today with my girlfriend but she still hasn't called back to let me know... Slacker. Shh! Don't tell her I said that. ~Lunar *UPDATE* Pfft.. she has to work now so.. I won't be going swimming. Plus it's about to storm; already thundering. Oh well, more yews for me!

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Thanks. 40k from 73 WC at the moment, and just over 800 yews banked. Killed a Mr. Hyde random earlier because I wanted something better than a Strength pot.. but of course, he dropped a strength pot. :XD: Anyways.. I'm having fun out here, playing a bit of Donkey Kong while I woodcut. Old games always seem to have that great replay value.. ~Lunar

Fastest EXP possible in game? ~ Now with table! 1000+ views!
If you want to count the time it takes to get the tickets, you would have to do so with all the other calculations that have been mentioned. How long would it take to get that many Magic Stones? That many oak planks? That many casts for barraging?

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Thanks, my blog is pretty sparse on posts from people other than me. It's nice to see another face every once in a while! I'm off for the night, see you all around. 85k from another woodcutting level :ohnoes: I'll get it done, no worries. ~Lunar

Yep, they sure do. 72 Woodcutting by the way.

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
And that's why I carry armour/weapon with me now while I woodcut. I'm wearing a Rockshell plate for protection and Iron Plateskirt for the look. :D Rune Scim for now because I don't have 60 Attack.. Pfft.. ~Lunar

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
:D Going back to good ol' favorites. First Firemaking, now Woodcutting, my all time favorite. I'm getting 75 through Yews, which I'll round out to chopping 2.3k of them. I'll be chopping out here in the Gnome Stronghold for quite some time... so drop by anytime I'm online. I'll probably be burning the logs aftewards, but not sure yet... Might sell them all and buy willows or something else entirely, or save them for Fletching. Also, you might notice something new in that picture.. ~Lunar

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Yes, you got the 100th post. And thanks! Decided that dedicated Crafting wasn't the thing for me at this point in time, so I've gone off to train other skills. Got the logs banked for 71, but I'm stopping at 70 when I do. All from 70 Woodcutting. Right now, I'm going to get my Woodcutting up by cutting yews somewhere.. Not sure where at though. I feel like getting it to 75 because it's just so much fun! :D

The Fight Caves
I think the new update would make Prayer-Switching on Jad a lot easier. I have what I would say are average sized hand for someone my height (6'5"), and I can stretch my pinky to the escape key and my index finger on the F5 key easily with no strain. That should make it easy to switch between inventory and Prayer. Either that or keep one finger on the F2 Key for your stats to keep a check on your Health and all that stuff, and another finger on F5 for prayer; then switch to the escape key whenever you need it.

26 June 2007 - Game Engine Update
ROFL... I can't help but laugh at that. You think it ruined drop mining? MAKE YOUR FREAKING WINDOW THE RIGHT SIZE! I'm amazed at the stupidity I'm seeing there. It might help if you didn't make the window cut off the bottom of the actual game window. And if you would stop to think, all you have to do is move your items to the last row in your inventory instead of the second-to-last row, that way you can sell things quickly again. I'm sorry to sound so mean but.. I can't help it at that. Mindless ranting. ~Lunar

One small favour
I haven't done the quest, but from reading the guide, I think it means that Captain Shanks is to the west of the Forester.. probably in the west side of the village. ~Lunar

Dragon slayer - DHIDE body?
Yes, to wear any Dragonhide body you must first complete Dragon Slayer. And no, Celestrana, that's not noobish. Wearing a Rune Platebody is very effective protection for training. Even level 126s wear it while training.. must not be that bad, eh? ~Lunar

Level 70 combat
Train it through Slayer. It might go slower than PC, but you get Slayer experience. Slayer is a very rewarding skill to train, and if you start now with those levels, you could have an above-average Slayer level for your combat. I'd say start with the Slayer Master in the Edgeville Dungeon for your level. Keep at it until 60 Defence and you should get a nice Slayer level in the end. ~Lunar

What is War Really God For?
Well, if Castle Wars worked out like the designers intended to, people would take more notice to those aspects you mentioned. Some more serious CW'ers actually do use those effectively, however. Charging the flag though is the method used by most people because they don't really care about strategy so much as they do the kamikaze-hero attitude. And no, the Saradomin team isn't always full. Often times, the Zamorak team is usually full because he's the evil God and all.. ~Lunar

Iron knives or bronze/iron bolts?
Well the Iron Knives and the Iron Bolts would cost the same, as they use only one bar per set. Iron Knives are what I did, but I had no money concerns in mind.. I mined and smelted all my own iron ores. If you've got the patience to have to obtain and attach the feathers to the crossbow bolts, then I'd go with those, as you get 10 of them per bar as opposed to 5. Knives would be quicker, but not as much ammunition. As for which would be better for training.. I'm not sure. Iron knives are pretty fast, but you don't get the added Range bonus as you would from the Crossbow. Bolts are slower, but a lot better than they used to be with the update on crossbows. I haven't tested them out and I really couldn't tell you if they're worth it. But if you want to get more bang for your buck, I might go with the bolts, just for sheer mass. ~Lunar

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Doing the cheap and kind of slow method for Crafting. I'll be killing about 3.3k cows at the guild, tanning their hides, making coifs, and dropping them. It is kind of slow, but going along with my whole self-sufficient deal, it works out great. About 2.2k cows into the task, I'll have 60 Attack and the ability to wield that little red piece of metal that's been sitting in my bank. That should speed things up a bit and enable me to 1-hit the cows.. Yes, I know my Strength is low. I can only hit up to 7 with 30 Strength, a Rune scimitar, and A Strength ammy. I was hoping to get a Berserker Helm and be able to hit 8s maybe, but nobody was selling.. Guess I'll try again when I go to buy more threads. I was originally planning on mining 3.5k silver in the guild and making silver stoofs out of it, but that wouldn't work out. Seeing as I only like levels that end in a 0 or a 5, and seeing that smithing all of that silver would get me 61 Smithing; and seeing that I don't want to train Smithing any more at this point- I didn't want to do that way... Anyways.. I'm gonna be gone tomorrow morning, don't know for how long.. But more of that crazy "being-productive" nonsense. ~Lunar

ok...what to do?
I think the three levels won't make that much of a difference really. I assume that you're going to be PKing? People around that level are usually Rune Pures or Ancient PKers, so you'll be facing more or less the same people at 86 or 89. I'd say go ahead and get your defence even higher and be a tank ranger. Get about 80-90 Defence and PK with that. I believe the set-up would be Black D'hide or Ahrims top/bottom, Torags Helm, MSB, Rune Arrows and whatever other accessories you see fit. As I've seen, they're pretty decent in the wild. ~Lunar

Best way 39 farming to 49
Well if you're sticking to Catherby, then thats all you can do really.. Just stick with the highest seeds for your level and check up on them every now and then. I assume you're fishing there? If you want to throw in some easy patches, do Draynor and Ardougne. They're not too much running and they're both next to a teleport spot and a bank. Glory to Draynor and run north, do that, then tele to Ardougne and do that patch. Then run/walk to Catherby, as that isn't very far away at all from the Ardougne patches. You'll get your training done three times as fast! ~Lunar

mith ores
There's not really any "good" spots for mithril. Your best bet might be world hopping at the Lumbridge Mines.. there's 5 ores there. Head more or less south from Draynor, and it's right there on the corner of the coastline.

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
My my.. I've been cleaning since about 2 this afternoon, just finished. My room was a disaster! I took out at least 10 trash bags of junk from there... phew. My girlfriend was so happy when she saw it she took pictures... :XD: Well anyways, I'm on to blow that remaining molten glass and get 53 Crafting. Not sure if I'm gonna do silver the rest of the way or coifs... ~Lunar

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Pfft.. today is Productive-Day! I gotta get up and do something today by orders of the girlfriend... Pfft.. what fun. So I might not be getting on much today until I've gotten at lease something done. Don't let this go to the Page 2 Monster!! 52 Crafting by the way. ~Lunar

[8:26] I love the 60s! 60 Magic!
Pfft.. what fun glassmaking is, eh? Anyways, 500 molten glass left to make and then I'm gonna make 1k vials for my Herblore needs (once I do that dang quest). That'll get me 52 or 53 Crafting.. don't remember. Afterwards, I'm thinking about mining ~3k silver in the Crafting Guild for 64 Mining and 60 Crafting. Then I'll round out with ~6k Pure Essence for 65 Mining and help on my RC goal later. Whaddya think? Any other good methods I could do? ~Lunar PS: I love my right row of skills! Except Farming
